Hi everyone! I can't find a May 2020 group yet. Most of you don't even know you're expecting yet. I'm due May 1st and got my bfp on 9 dpo. So I'm only 3 weeks 3 days. I feel like I may be lonely in here for a little while.
Looking forward to being joined by other mummies to be :)
This is my 3rd pregnancy. 1st was 7 years ago and I have a 7 year old son. 2nd was 5 years ago which ended in a m/c feeling positive for my rainbow.

Skiaddicted · 28/09/2019 12:54

@flossy12 thats awesome news!

Trying to get a scan booked in but getting someone to look after dc1 is an issue Sad

Sunshine8888 · 28/09/2019 12:59

Hi ladies, all is fine 😊 saw my little baby wiggling around and have a video on my phone that I can look at every time I feel nervous ☺️ No bleeding at all around my pregnancy so she’s pretty certain it’s from my cervix and nothing to worry about. I even have some today and know baby is ok so hopefully can stop worrying now! Highly positioned in the womb, strong heartbeat and lots of movement. She said she couldn’t be happier! I’m so so so relieved and excited now. I am only dating about 9 weeks though instead of 10+2 but she said to still go to my dating scan on 10th October - I may just have to go back for another one a week or so later! Also got some info on the harmony test so considering that. I can’t believe you can find out the gender now at 10 weeks!!

Great news @sunshine8888, you must be so pleased!!!

Coastaldreamer · 28/09/2019 14:03

SaffRW · 28/09/2019 14:56

Lovely news @flossy12 & @Sunshine8888 Are these Nhs Scans or private? I heard Mothercare babybond scan service is good, has anyone used these? Xx

Sunshine8888 · 28/09/2019 16:01

Thanks all ☺️ These are private scans. Yes @Skiaddicted the harmony scan is health and also gender x

Skiaddicted · 28/09/2019 16:30

@SaffRW i used a babybond clinic last pregnancy and we were impressed, this time they're very busy so probably going to book elsewhere

flossy12 · 28/09/2019 18:18

Hello, @SaffRW! I know what you mean about time going so slowly! The days are crawling by!

Great pictures, @flossy12 and @Sunshine8888! Great to know everything is in the right place and growing well Smile

Mystie · 28/09/2019 19:13

@Sunshine8888 @flossy12 congratulations on both your positive scan stories so reassuring!! Xx

helpasisterout · 28/09/2019 21:40

I'm buzzing for you guys with the news of the early scans.. hopefully the worries will be lessened a bit for you!!

I've just actually been sick for the first time as opposed to just nausea.. 6 weeks today only.. hold on this could be a bumpy ride I told my OH 🤮

flossy12 · 28/09/2019 22:01

Thank you all you lovely ladies for all your kind words ☺️

mollysmummy1970 · 29/09/2019 00:20

@sunshine8888 amazing news! So happy that u are reassured now. X

SaffRW · 29/09/2019 09:54

Thanks for all the welcome wishes 😊 It’s really nice to have this group and support each other.

Thanks also for info on the scans, i’m going to wait until my first midwife appointment and see what they recommend as I am hoping I will be referred to a consultant due to the genetic issues. But who knows!

Have a lovely Sunday everyone. One of the books I ordered has arrived called ‘The whole 9 months’ got lots of useful info and recipes for each stage, if anyone likes that type of thing i’d recommend it. Xx

Victoria315 · 29/09/2019 14:18

I also had an early scan today. Baby measured at 8 weeks and 4 days with a due date of 6/5/19. Seeing the heartbeat was just magical 🥰

@SaffRW hey, I didn't know about that company but we are booked with 'Window to the Womb' they have branches all over the place and we have paid £70. Quite well reviewed too x

Victoria315 · 30/09/2019 12:58

Thanks @flossy12 🥰 Also thank you @Coastaldreamer - my scan was with window to the womb too x

flossy12 · 30/09/2019 16:02

Need help if anyone has the answer? 😅 I have a hair appointment booked in for Wednesday, I'll be around 7+6 according to the midwife as she's going off LMP not my private scan 🤷🏼‍♀️ anyway I've heard you shouldn't have your hair dyed before 12 weeks of pregnancy, has anyone got experience with this? If I can I'll just get it cut for now but just wanting to know so I can let the salon know
