Hi everyone! I can't find a May 2020 group yet. Most of you don't even know you're expecting yet. I'm due May 1st and got my bfp on 9 dpo. So I'm only 3 weeks 3 days. I feel like I may be lonely in here for a little while.
Looking forward to being joined by other mummies to be :)
This is my 3rd pregnancy. 1st was 7 years ago and I have a 7 year old son. 2nd was 5 years ago which ended in a m/c feeling positive for my rainbow.

@TummyTurtle Completely understand, you don't want to accidentally offend anyone. It's tricky isn't it 😕

Is anyone else feeling ok? Not bloated or really sick? I've been seeing some people saying they're bloated & sickness has set in and now I'm starting to worry because I'm feeling pretty good!

@PrincessConsuela12 im also feeling fine (bar the tiredness that low iron related), so like u im worried because with DC1 I remember having cramps & by week 5 sore boobs. App says i'm 3+5 so still early, tbh I will only feel when I hear the heartbeat and then i will feel ready to tell people.

@AmIseeingRight Thank you. That's called me down a bit, I was just on Amazon getting ready to buy some CB digitalis 😂

So insomnia & bladder for me & I took my CB digital. So happy as it came up and now will have something to show DP when I see him later. Feeling excited now & with one more in the pack will definitely test next week, to be sure that it reads stronger.

Morning, hoping to join. Think I am just over 4 weeks, with Due date around May 2.

It will be nice to have some people at a similar stage especially as time goes on to share the experience with.

Oh and this is my first child. No symptoms really except gurgling stomach and last week it felt a little like period was due.

Used a CB digital this morning but 'not pregnant' I'm only 7/8 dpo anyone know when's the earliest a cbd will read bfp? Going to do a frer tomorrow morning.

hey @FirstTimeMama91 it's too early to test even with a Frer wait until 12DPO for a clear result. Also you may also want to join a conception group. I was in the late August one and it's great coz everyone is in the TWW. good luck and 🤞 for a BFP.

Welcome @Caspianberg 😁 so nice that we both ended up here from the late August bus. Praying for loads of healthy pregnancies & babies in the May 2020 group. Told OH, we are so exited, his first response was congratulations 🤣🤣🤣 he couldn't believe that we got to lucky so quickly.

How did everyone's else partners take it?

Congratulations @Caspianberg I'm 4+3 today and due around 1st May. Not many symptoms although I've woken up with a little bit of a cold this morning. It's such a nerve wracking time isn't it!!

Thanks @AmIseeingRight I'm in conception groups too, just being overly optimistic this cycle lol. Hopefully I'll be back here in a few days with a bfp

I've not had many symptoms either - a little bit of cramping, and just slightly nauseous. DH was delighted - I had convinced myself the symptoms were a sign of my period starting, and it was our first cycle too so the chance of being pregnant would be pretty low

@amiseeingright love you CB picture :) still think my other half is in shock it happened reasonably quickly we only started trying in April. He's suggesting baby names now though so think he's excited lol (names are awful though lol)

@caspianberg regarding symptoms I've still only really got the mild cramps. Although I went to Parkrun this morning and the first 1km of my run I had to keep holding my boobs as they felt quite sore but by the time I hit 2km they were fine again.

Looking into an early scan as I'm so confused as to dates. £70 😮 so expensive but be worth it i suppose. An app I'm on says April 26th going from start of period. But where I have long 32 day cycles most online due date calculaters put me at may 1st. Hoping my sister can work it out for me on Tuesday when I tell her she's a midwife. I'm going to drive her nuts with questions lol

Amazon are selling 2 x CBD for under £10 so I used one today and it's gone up to 2-3 so I am taking that as a good sign 🥳

@BlueberryPoppy123 How many weeks do you think you'll go for the private scan?

They prefer to scan from 7 weeks + So if we wait about 3 more weeks I should be far enough to not need an internal scan.

@PrincessConsuela12 that's wonderful, I have I CB left in the box so well use it next week when it should say 2-3 weeks. Still not much in way is symptoms bar insomnia? some boob soreness that comes and goes 🤷‍♀️ & generally very tired (but that is also due to low iron anaemia).

4 weeks today, so many more to go but I already can't wait. 🤣🤣

Does anyone know when you are supposed to generally contact doctor to get put in for an appointment? Im not in the uk so it isn't a midwife i would see here. Im assuming I can just wait until 6-7 weeks, contact and then go for a scan after that.

Also, My cb tests already shows 2-3 weeks, but Im sure I was only just 4 weeks when i took it. Day of last AF was 29th July.

Hello ladies! Nice to meet you! I'm another one due on 1 May although both my DSs arrived 2 weeks late so I'm sure this baby will arrive towards the middle of May. I've been having some intermittent low level sickness all week so I sort of suspected that it would be a BFP when I tested on Thursday. Have only told one friend so far but am going to tell my mum today. I think she'll be a bit shocked! Can't wait to share this journey with you all! 

Hello! Think EDD is 29/4 but thought I'd join here too as DC was late. This is 5th pregnancy but only one DC (7) so praying things work out this time! Am so excited but super nervous too. Hoping these groups will help keep me calm!

@Caspianberg The CBD shows 2 weeks behind so I think if it came up as 2-3 you're actually 4-5 weeks pregnant

@AmIseeingRight Have you downloaded any apps yet? I was genuinely shocked when I saw what 'baby' looks like at 4 weeks! I guess I'd never really thought about it much before...

I had an awful sleep last night, my. cold has kicked in and I got around 3/4 hours sleep. Thank goodness it's a bank holiday and I have very few plans 😄

@PrincessConsuela12 - yes I know it shows 2 weeks behind, but surely if my last period started July 29th, I cant be 5 weeks already? yesterday when I took that tests was only 3 weeks and 6 days since 29th

@Caspianberg I am 4+4 and my LMP was 28th July so depending on how long your cycles are you could be...

@PrincessConsuela12 cycles varying as was on pill until recently. Last three were 28, 26 and then 21 days long i think. Its all rather confusing.
