Hi everyone! I can't find a May 2020 group yet. Most of you don't even know you're expecting yet. I'm due May 1st and got my bfp on 9 dpo. So I'm only 3 weeks 3 days. I feel like I may be lonely in here for a little while.
Looking forward to being joined by other mummies to be :)
This is my 3rd pregnancy. 1st was 7 years ago and I have a 7 year old son. 2nd was 5 years ago which ended in a m/c feeling positive for my rainbow.

Sorry @londonmama3 you must have posted while I was reordering I've added you in now.
@lifesforlivingandloving it's a list of all in this group their age what baby they are on and their due date. I've ordered by due date as I find it easier to check who is missing that way

The nausea has really hit the last 2 days. My boobs are so sore and I'm drained... Still have stomach cramps and until I have my scan and know everything's ok I am going to whine about them lol...
Only 10 sleeps to go til my scan. Excited :D
I say sleeps but who am I kidding I'm barely sleeping lol

Also saw you talking about dogs I have 2 also but mine are Beagles the dogs of Satan himself I think haha

LuckyA · 28/08/2019 22:43

@BlueberryPoppy123 is your scan at the EPU or at a private clinic?

I'm only having stomach cramps so far. With my mmc I hardly had any symptoms, so I'm going to be really worried until I see a heartbeat on that screen! I'm hoping my EPU will let me have a reassurance scan

AmIseeingRight · 28/08/2019 22:44

@BlueberryPoppy123 thanks for reordering the list. I will try and do a google live doc at some point. my last mumsnet group had one & it was nice watch it fill up, marking milestones from edd to delivery date.

also suffering with insomnia! sucks coz im so tired but wide awake, bloating and some boob soreness & nausea but I remember it being worse with DC1 so hoping for an uneventful 9 months.

Lifesforlivingandloving · 28/08/2019 22:51

So have I done this right ..../?
Sorry I'm quite new and don't know how to make the font smaller lol x

BlueberryPoppy123 · 28/08/2019 22:51

@luckyA no it's a private scan epu wouldn't bother with me despite me having a previous mmc. I had all of the same symptoms with my mmc as I do now so I can't trust them. That's what I found so cruel about when it happened to me :( I found it so hard to believe it was really gone.

@amiseeingRight no problem gave me something to do lol.
I don't remember much from my 1st pregnancy as was 8 years ago. From what I do remember I just had nausea til about 11 weeks then it was a dream. People always told me pregnancy suited me. I'm hoping for a beautiful pregnancy this time and hoping to record labour this time too. But probs getting ahead of myself

Morning ladies, woke up this morning and felt sort of surreal, DH is totally normal, hello baby mama is what I got this morning, I had to give him the evils as dd and ds were getting ready for school, and cant tell them just yet, my dd is 11 and ds is 8 and they will be absolutely thrilled when we do tell them, they love kids and have begged for the last 2 years to have another baby.

I just feel like I am in some sort of dream, I am very aware of the big changes its going to entail and excited at the same time but DH seems to think that's life, and sure what harm, etc. Men don't really think of it like us do they? I mean until the baby is born every thing is sort of tucked away so to speak hehe

I got huge on my last pregnancies , like really uncomfortable and I am at my lowest weight now from a mix of diet and exercise, so hoping to try and stay as healthy as possible through this one.

Girls I think I am still in shock to be honest.

Just adding myself :)

Went to the docs this morning as been having severe pain. She didn't seem to think it was a problem and just referred me to the midwife who'll see me in a month apparently. Can't remember being in this much pain the first time round... bit worried really.

mintbear · 29/08/2019 12:51

@sofiathe2nd
I too have been experiencing really severe cramps, to the point where I'm wincing in pain. Albeit, today does seem better.

I went to my gp and they referred me to EPU, the midwife is checking in on me with a view to an early scan if the pain continues or gets worse.

They are checking if the pregnancy is eptopic - but I've not had any bleeding which is a good sign.

It is a real worry so if you want to chat let me know. It's difficult when you might be holding back on talking to your support network. I'd say if your symptoms worsen defo contact 111 or the midwife but try and find something. To take your mind off it.. if that's possible.

I spoke to my sister who said she had really bad cramps early on and ended up phoning 111. So you're not alone.

sofiathe2nd · 29/08/2019 14:15

@mintbear

That's great they sent you to the EPU, at least they're taking it seriously. When was the earliest they said they can do an early scan?

I haven't had any bleeding which is a good sign but it does feel like I've been cramping for a long time: nearly 3 weeks. If I hadn't had my BFP I was going to go to the doctor to talk about the server pre-menstrual cramps!

I got in a terrible state at the doctor this morning as I think I'd been holding it all in and not wanting to tell any friends/family about it yet. Think the doc thought I was a bit hysterical but also not sure I managed to get across how severe the pain is: yesterday I was doubled over which I don't think is normal?!

Lu1u · 29/08/2019 14:41

@blanconita congrats on your pregnancy and how lovely your 2 other DC are desperate for a little brother or sister! My DP is the same as your DH, we are going from 1 to 2 and there will be a 22 month age gap and he is so laid back about it where as I'm a bit apprehensive as well as excited

Well done on your weightloss. I put a lot of weight on during my last pregnancy too (as in 5+ stone before I gave birth 😅) so also aiming to keep the weight gain under control this time round.. I can only be hopeful!

I don't think it really sinks in until you have a scan and get to see what's going on in there 😊

BlueberryPoppy123 · 29/08/2019 16:23

@sofiathe2nd I have had 3 weeks of severe cramps too I don't remember them being that bad either. The other night I was doubled up in bed crying with them. I got a bit of reassurance from my sister who is a midwife Tuesday evening who said it's normal yes it can be a sign of bad things but it's also a sign things are going as they should. Try not to over stress (easier said than done I know) could you pay for your own early scan for peace of mind. I know its not finacially somethong everyone can do but if you can it will be great so you know x

OP posts:
sofiathe2nd · 29/08/2019 17:13

@BlueberryPoppy123 I think i will book an early scan but still need to wait 2 weeks? Wishing i could just fast forward a little bit x

Hope your pain stops soon, when's your scan booked for? x

LuckyA · 29/08/2019 17:14

@sofiathe2nd sorry to hear the pain has been so awful. Mine is on and off, but only really lasts for a few minutes each time. When I had a mmc a couple months back, I did quite a lot of research and it seems that stomach cramps in the middle of your lower abdomen without bleeding is normal. If its severe and one-sided or if you start to bleed, I would phone the EPU x

FirstTimeMama91 · 29/08/2019 17:35

Exhaustion has hit and I'm only 4+1 😴😴 and any wee random cramps are so worrying. It's awful that it's such an anxious time. Wish I could fast forward to 6 week scan! Hope you are all well 😘

BlueberryPoppy123 · 29/08/2019 18:07

@sofiathe2nd mines on September 7th so just over a week now.

I'm shattered today. Been living off about 5 hours sleep a night and it is not enough. Just had a nap and it felt so good! I'm still shattered bedtime will arrive and I won't be able to sleep again though:(

AmIseeingRight · 29/08/2019 18:28

hi Ladies

I got my 8wk booking and 12wk scan appointments, which I will actually be 9+4 at booking and 11+4 for the scan.

I'm sorry for those in severe pain i'm also tempted to book an early scan for the opposite reason - bar the insomnia and fatigue I don't really feel pregnant most of the time, does worry me but I guess it's just a waiting game.

Pindlesandneedles · 29/08/2019 19:38

Hey everyone, I’m so sorry some of you are already feeling really rough. It’s so weird as I’m a bit like AmIseeingRight and don’t have much in the way of symptoms. I hadn’t been sleeping well but last night I slept really well. Weirdly almost hoping for a bad nights sleep tonight Confused

PrincessConsuela12 · 29/08/2019 21:46

@AmIseeingRight When are your appointments? I'm so excited for you!!

PrincessConsuela12 · 29/08/2019 21:49

@FirstTimeMama91 I'm feeling the same as you, absolutely exhausted & cramping on & off. Time seems to be going so slowly!

AmIseeingRight · 30/08/2019 07:27
