Thanks for the new thread @mynameisMrG

EDD 13/01/2020, baby number 1

Not when I first get up specifically @Chantalle3 but can feel them randomly pulsing at various points throughout the day... think it's where they're growing 🙈

DH is off again today thank god. It's been so helpful having him home to look after me. Work have been really shit and I had a bit of a cross email from my manager yesterday asking if I'm in this week and if "I have time could I do xyz." Does a doctors note stating "severe dehydration and sickness" not mean anything 😡

Just checking in on the new thread. Thanks @MynameisMrG for starting it again Smile. My due date is 12.01.20 and I'm 7weeks 4 days.
The wait for the 12 week scan is killing me! (We're not telling family/friends until the scan goes well as I'm an overly cautious first time mum). Anyone else struggling with the wait?

SleepingStandingUp · 30/05/2019 08:16

@winter138 we paid £60 for ours through Window To The Womb which arehave a few places across the country

Nightmares are back. Dreamy I started spotting but I didn't know whether to go to a&e because it was my sisters wedding weekend and we'd travelled to it and she was stressed out and I was trying to find time.
Not helpful timing as her wedding is this weekend....

Checking into the new thread, EDD 18th Jan, DC2. I’m 6+5 today.

@winter138 I’ve booked one with the same people @SleepingStandingUp mentioned, Window to the Womb. Mine is costing £80. It’s not until June 23rd though, I’ll be 10 weeks then. I would just hold on until my NHS one but I want to tell family at a get together the following week so just want some reassurance that it all looks ok before we tell everyone!

Just checking into the new thread, thanks mynameisMrG.

Welcome to the newbies!

6+3 today with baby no.2.

MrsPandigital - hear, hear - the wait seems to go on forever. It’s such an anxious time.

Some nausea has kicked in for me this week - seem to be able to ease it by eating crisps and toast! Not the healthiest but am trying to balance it with fruit. Also another one in the weird dreams club...so bizarre!

Hope everyone’s doing alright. xx

@MrsPandigital we were waiting but we had a scan at almost 8 weeks and have told our parents and siblings. To be honest, it has made me feel so much better. I think it would be harder to explain a MC if they didn't know I was PG in the first place. It is a personal decision but at least now I don't feel that I am on my own with these thoughts.

Our early scan cost £79 and was worth it. I didn't think I would get one but it was a lovely experience.

Is anyone considering getting the Harmony test?

@Starfish83 crisps and toast is my life right now! I had an apple yesterday (inspired by @mynameisMrG trying to be more healthy) and was really sick after. I've only been sick twice in the whole time so I think my body is rejecting healthy choices!

I am so freaking bloated though as I don't normally eat much carbs and love my veggies and pulses. I have only really eaten white bread, crisps, pasta, more crisps.

Following from the other thread!
Has anyone else had an early scan and seen fetal pole and heartbeat but yolk sac wasn't clear?
Thought it would stop me worrying....it hasn't 😢

I've got my scan at 11:30, I'm so anxious though! I know something could've gone wrong in the three weeks since the last one. I'm terrified to have this scan and I've gotta go alone because DH is at work

Just checking in...EDD 17/01/2020 with baby #2.

My scan is on 8th June and is costing £39. Not sure how to feel about it right now. I just feel weird about this whole pregnancy. Happy but more worried than excited. Scared I’ll end up with PND again.

Also checking in!

DC2 due 09/01/20, IVF pregnancy so I’ve already had a scan ( plus another for some spotting which I’ve attached!). I’m in the ‘I can’t beleive this is actually happening’ camp. After 3 years of trying, it’s all very surreal and unbelievable, despite the all day nausea and impressive bloat bump! Booking in appointment is on Monday- DD is almost 5 so I’ve pretty much forgotten everything about midwife care with her, very much like doing it for the first time again!

Joining the thread ☺️ EDD 11.01.20 with #2 my Dr can't see me for a referral until 12.06.19 so to ease my mind I am having an early scan this Sunday. According to my dates I'll be 8w+1.

I'm so more anxious with this pregnancy that something will go wrong...but it did take almost 3 years to fall pregnant again and had recently been diagnosed with unexplained infertility. I'm just taking it day by day and looking forward to progressing with the rest of you!

Think we have the same EDD!

Report
SleepingStandingUp · 30/05/2019 09:24

@plipliop I wouldn't consider the Harmony test unless there was any specific reason to be concerned - so either a family history of genetic conditions, a high score on the three trisomies tests, issues at the anomoly scan or a history of miscarriages perhaps.
