Is anyone else due in Jan 2020? My dates are a bit iffy 🤣 but I’m either due 30/12 or 2/1. Baby number 4 ( I swear we were stopping at 1). 🤣

Me! Smile I am very tentatively posting! My EDD is 3rd January. This will be my 3rd baby, although just one is here with me and the other lives in the stars.
What are your other 3? How are you feeling?

Pocopearl3 · 23/04/2019 05:20

@instatwat a little stressed and panicked, not found a way to tell dh yet, who obvs does not really want anymore right now. We have ds 5 (6 in July) ds 2 (3 this sat) and dd 1 (2 in sept)

I will join very tentatively, just had IVF and got my blood test on Thursday but of course couldn't resisting and got BFP on Saturday.
I'm either due 31/12 or 1/1. My first baby, TTC two years with a mc 18 months ago, naturally I'm freaking out.

MrsBeds · 23/04/2019 14:47

I'm due with my second on 1/1/2020, found out with a FRER on saturday. Absolutely terrified after having 2 MMC in the last year :/ been TTC for 8 months since last MC and ironically we caught on the month that we were taking a break from ttc 😂

Em1986 · 23/04/2019 16:25

Congratulations to all. Also very tentatively joining! Due with my second roughly around 1/1/2020. So terrified of something going wrong with it being such early days.x

frillyfarmer · 23/04/2019 20:04

Can I join this thread? I joined the December thread as my due date is 28th Dec but everyone is soooooo far ahead on there, it feels quite daunting!

I'm also terrified after a MC in Jan, 4+2 based on my LMP. This is my second, DS is 18 months.

Pocopearl3 · 23/04/2019 23:41

Hi everyone new to the thread! Fx these beans are sticky! 😘 I’m freaking out a little as a neurotic stick pee-er. I’m out of hog sticks and only have lh, but the line isn’t that strong on the lh. Trying to not stress and wait patiently for hog tests to arrive Thursday or Friday!

I just got my BFP today, due around 5th or 6th Jan I think.

This will be our second, we have a DD aged 3. I am feeling so happy right now, although I have had two early miscarriages in the past so I am trying not to get too excited yet. It's hard though!

leclarke91 · 24/04/2019 18:54

Hi everyone! Is it okay if I join the thread?
Firstly congratulations to you all! I got my BFP today after trying for just 1 cycle so I’m in complete shock and disbelief! This is my first baby and should be due (if my calculations are correct) on January 7th 2020. I’m so excited but so scared as it’s such early days!

leclarke91 · 24/04/2019 18:55

Also, just wondering who people are going to tell and when? I have a brunch planned with friends (was meant to be bottomless and boozy but obviously will not be drinking now) so not sure how I can get around not telling my friends??

DaisyMay25 · 24/04/2019 19:11

@leclarke91 it's probably different for me than many of you, because we had ivf a lot of people know we're gonna find out tomorrow if it's worked or not. We're telling siblings straight away as well as his parents and a friend of ours that is also pregnant and I have to tell my manager. I'm telling my parents after our six week scan.

Redorangeyellowgreen · 24/04/2019 19:37

@leclarke91 I always think the best approach is not to tell someone if you wouldn't be ok with them knowing you'd had a miscarriage (worst case scenario and odds are it won't happen to you, but just in case).

So far I have only told my DH and best friend but will prob tell my mum soon.

leclarke91 · 24/04/2019 19:42

@DaisyMay25 that makes sense that people will already know, I really hope it works for you, have everything crossed for you!

leclarke91 · 24/04/2019 19:46

@Redorangeyellowgreen That’s a really good way to view things! I think I will tell my best friends who I am brunching with, as they are very close to me and I’d tell them if I had a MC (god forbid). It may also be difficult to cover up why I’m not drinking alcohol.
Then I think I am going to pay for a 6 week scan, at which point I’ll tell my Mum.
It’s difficult, because on one hand you want to shout it from the rooftops but on the other hand, you don’t want too many people to know.

DaisyMay25 · 24/04/2019 19:53

@leclarke91 honestly just tell who you want to tell. It's an exciting time, be excited! I know there's a possibility things can go wrong, and they did for me, you'll want a support system around you. Tell your friends if you want to, I don't think there's any real rule

LamppostInWinter · 24/04/2019 21:54

I got my BFP a few hours ago! Due 29th December so hoping I can join in. This will be my second, DS is 4.

Really hoping this sticks!

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 24/04/2019 21:58

Found out properly a few days ago and due I think roughly on the 3rd 😊

leclarke91 · 25/04/2019 01:42

@DaisyMay25 you’re right! I think ultimately you can only hope that things will work out, it’s a bit out of our control whether it does or not. A support network is really important.

leclarke91 · 25/04/2019 01:49

@LamppostInWinter Hi, welcome to the thread 😊 congratulations to you! Fingers crossed it sticks

leclarke91 · 25/04/2019 02:27

@UnicornsandRainbows1 How exciting! 😃 is this your first child?

Redorangeyellowgreen · 25/04/2019 07:26

Anyone else getting symptoms? I must only be about 12 or 13 DPO but I'm sure I've got very faint nausea and a stronger sense of smell already...

leclarke91 · 25/04/2019 07:40

@Redorangeyellowgreen
I think I’ve been having symptoms for well over a week, about 12DPO. Acne breakout has been awful and sore boobs! Also feeling dizzy. People say it’s too early but I would disagree

Redorangeyellowgreen · 25/04/2019 07:56

@leclarke91 oh yes the sore boobs! I've got that too. In a way it's nice to have symptoms as it's reassuring! Especially at this early stage when it's all new and exciting.

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 25/04/2019 07:58

@leclarke91 #2 😊 DD is 8 months

LamppostInWinter · 25/04/2019 08:09

I've had sore boobs for about a week and for the last few days a sort of stretchy feeling in my tummy... completely different to my usual period cramps but I can very much tell something is going on!
