I'm hoping I haven't missed a December 2019 thread- apologies if I have.
I got my BFP at 10dpo this morning, giving me an estimated due date of 2nd December.
I know it's incredibly early-I'm very nervous about that at the moment!
Is there anyone else with a December 2019 due date yet?

@agteacht really glad things are just as they should be. The reassurance is amazing and possibly addictive.

NapsAndTea · 07/05/2019 13:16

I had some heavy bleeding this weekend but had an early scan today and saw a little heartbeat! This is my first & took IVF to get to this point ... all feels a bit surreal! 🙈🥰

JayDot500 · 07/05/2019 16:32

@agteacht what a relief! Amazing news Smile

JayDot500 · 07/05/2019 16:33

And you too @NapsAndTea, great news Smile

...god I love your username, it just put me in a happy place Grin

BostonFern · 07/05/2019 17:20

@PickledEgg89 what great news about your scan!

@agteacht so pleased you could get reassurance x

@NapsAndTea you must have been so relieved to see the heartbeat!

@JayDot500 haha thanks the username is inspired by real life 😂👌🏼

NapsAndTea · 07/05/2019 17:49

@BostonFern yes very relieved- bleeding some more again now but she could see a clot when she scanned so said it could happen again. Hopefully it passes quickly as it's still unsettling! X

Babykent2019 · 07/05/2019 18:57

Booked an early scan for Friday as a bit nervous. According to my dates I should be 10 + 5 by then. Last scan was to early so couldn't see heartbeat, measured at 6 weeks then.
Breasts have stopped hurting and have had a bit of lower back pain today. Think once I see baby's heartbeat I'll be a bit more relaxed/settled.

BostonFern · 07/05/2019 19:23

@NapsAndTea I hope it passes quickly for you too.

@Babykent2019 the worry is completely understandable, I get so wound up before my scans too. I hope Friday goes well for you.

Thanks so much @Starrynights86 and @TDLO (lovely to see you here too!)

Thanks @smartcarnotsosmartdriver and you are totally right it definitely is addictive! Let's see if I can hold out 3 more weeks to 12w scan...

@JayDot500 @BostonFern thank you :)

agteacht · 07/05/2019 20:11

@NapsAndTea hope the bleeding passes, I also have some today which is so annoying after a really reassuring scan yesterday but I just have to take it in my stride now and believe it will be fine. Congrats on your scan!

@Babykent2019 the scan will make you feel so much better

smartcarnotsosmartdriver · 07/05/2019 22:01

Question for anyone who's had a baby before have any of you suffered from PGP? The last few days I've been finding it quite painful to walk, stand up and roll over in bed, it basically feels like I've been kicked in the crotch. I was wondering if that's what it could be but at 10 weeks is it not a bit early?

elephantmarch · 07/05/2019 22:44

@smartcarnotsosmartdriver I’m no expert but I think it’s because your muscles relax more, or may produce relaxin. Ok i really know very little ... but yes it’s possible in first trimester but as your weight changes it might get more pronounced which is why more people experience it in subsequent trimesters

Sorry to hear so many of you are worried by bleeding and hope the scans are giving you the reassurance you need, all sounds very positive :) I am 10 weeks but 3 more weeks till my scan. I also only did one pregnancy test , and a cheap Tesco one at that, so I’m a bit concerned they might say “whoopsie nothing there, looks like the menopause old bean”.

Is anyone showing a little yet?

Starrynights86 · 08/05/2019 07:35

@smartcar I didn’t get sore until I was much bigger but I already have indigestion which is due to relaxin relaxing the valves in your throat/oseaphagus(sp?) so it’s much easier for the stomach acid to come up so the relaxin could be affecting you already in a different way?

smartcarnotsosmartdriver · 08/05/2019 08:04

I don't know if it's because I'm already bigger to start with that there's already more pressure on my joints but it's really not pleasant! A walk that should take me about 10 mins took nearer 20 this morning.

TDLO · 08/05/2019 10:52

Sorry for TMI, I'm getting a lots of clear discharge today. I'm reading that this is normal, but it's been more so than what I've been getting (actually thought I was bleeding because of how it felts, sorry again tmi), though not ridiculous amounts. Anyone else in same boat or can reassure me?
Thanks in advance x

JayDot500 · 08/05/2019 11:01

I'm so happy! Baby is fine, wriggling away with actual arms and legs (I was expecting a blob if anything). No causes seen for bleeding or cramping, so just one of those things.

So so happy, I cried and called the sonographer an angel Blush

elephantmarch · 08/05/2019 15:38

@jaydot500 great news! @tdlo very very normal, I think expected :)

TDLO · 08/05/2019 17:53

@elephantmarch thanks!! I thought as much and from everything I've been reading too says normal. But you know what it's like lol x

BostonFern · 08/05/2019 20:13

@smartcarnotsosmartdriver I think that I'm taking longer to walk places, my hips feel a bit different I think.

@JayDot500 brilliant news!

@elephantmarch I was worried I'd get to the first scan and there'd be nothing there, thankfully that wasn't the case!

@TDLO yes, that's normal from what I've read.
