I'm hoping I haven't missed a December 2019 thread- apologies if I have.
I got my BFP at 10dpo this morning, giving me an estimated due date of 2nd December.
I know it's incredibly early-I'm very nervous about that at the moment!
Is there anyone else with a December 2019 due date yet?

Oh @Pip231018 I think I need that group too! My focus is that I've see that wee heartbeat and odds are that everything is fine but I also feel like if I can ease my anxiety and afford a couple of extra scans then there's no harm done.

Pip231018 · 04/05/2019 20:38

@smartcarnotsosmartdriver Glad it's not just me. I know, my sister was like 'Go to EPU' but I don't want to sit in A&E for 4 hours and waste peoples time because of my anxiety. Like you say, the odds are probably in our favour, I had a heartbeat at 6 weeks. If I had significant bleeding, I'd definitely go to EPU but I don't feel like I can justify it with this little amount of blood, especially when there are ladies who really will need the support. If my scan isn't favourable tomorrow, I will be no doubt giving them a call.
Fingers crossed it won't come to that. 💕🤞🏻

Welcome @SarahBriga and sorry to hear about your sickness @PickledEgg89 (great name!)

Thanks a lot @BostonFern
Glad your NIPT went well! When do the results come through?

@Pip231018 I know you will be fine but wishing you all the best for tomorrow. Let us know how it goes

Starrynights86 · 05/05/2019 01:29

Hi everyone I have my early scan tomorrow so fingers crossed. I feel much much worse this pregnancy then I did with my first one. Constant nausea :(

JayDot500 · 05/05/2019 08:36

Another one bleeding here. 9 weeks tomorrow. Bleeding since yesterday, small amounts of red blood, and I do have that period like heaviness with some cramping that has since eased off. Went to the hospital yesterday and doctor said the amount of bleeding is not cause for concern. He did have a look at my cervix (ouch!), a good feel of my tummy and took some bloods and swaps. Said it all looks fine (HCG results weren't in by the time I was discharged) but has booked me in for an ultrasound this week. This will be a loooong wait, I'm sure. Nothing private is available around me in the next two days so I'll just wait. I must say that the A and E nurses were so beautifully compassionateSmile

I do still have my pregnancy symptoms, but I'm keeping an open mind about it all. Good luck to all the girls who need a hand hold right now Flowers

BostonFern · 05/05/2019 08:56

Thanks @Pip231018 , I hope your scan goes ok today x

@smartcarnotsosmartdriver I'm trying to go with that logic too.

@agteacht should be a little under two weeks- normally 7-10 calendar days, but the bloods won't be sent off until Tuesday because of the bank holiday.

@Starrynights86 hope your scan goes ok x

I've got my finger crossed that everything is ok for you @JayDot500 X

@JayDot500 It's literally the worst isn't it?! I had a scan booked in for next week anyway so I could take my mum. But cos of the bleeding, it just freaked me out. It was near enough 8pm last night when it happened and my EPU website even says if you go in at the weekend there will be a 2-3 day wait for a scan so I searched high and low for a private one. Paying more than I'd like but, I'd probably pay even more if it gave me the reassurance I needed.

Really hope your bleeding doesn't return and hope you get a scan quickly. 💕

JayDot500 · 05/05/2019 12:31

Thank you! @BostonFern

@Pip231018 I'm totally with you there! If I could find somewhere reasonably close I'd pay ridiculous amounts for the reassurance. Sorry that you're going through this, but I'm learning that it's more common that we'd think. I do sincerely hope you get a good result from your scan. Flowers

Pip231018 · 05/05/2019 14:24

All my fears have come true. There was no heartbeat and I measured at 6 weeks instead of 8. Need to call the hospital to discuss my options now.

These threads have really helped me over the past 5 weeks, wishing everyone successful and happy pregnancies.

💕

@Pip231018 I'm so sorry. Look after yourself and take all the time you need 💜

TDLO · 06/05/2019 07:57

@codenameduchess , I also had a small hematoma at my reassurance scan. The sonographer said not to worry if I got a little bit of blood.

However I have since done some reading and have banned myself from doing any more so need some reassurance ladies. If I needed bed rest, they would have told me that, right? She said it's under the baby and not in the way of anything so "should be fine". I wish I had asked more questions now but I was just stunned at the time after having seen the heartbeat. And she was so reassuring. I have another scan, but not till next Friday. Which is really soon but fees like a lifetime away. Anyone else had something similar can share good news stories with me? X

Starrynights86 · 06/05/2019 09:02

I’m so sorry for everyone’s losses on this thread.

We had our early scan and saw the wee heartbeat 💗

PickledEgg89 · 06/05/2019 14:09

Pip I'm so sorry. Please look after yourself.

So sorry for everyone else that has been having bleeding. I know how scary it is, I had 2 missed miscarriages before my youngest and then I had bleeding during her pregnancy and it turned out to be nothing.

Hope everyone is doing okay. I had an early scan yesterday, seen the little heartbeat and measuring exactly to my dates so I'm very pleased I booked it now ❤️ I'm booking in with the midwife next week x

agteacht · 06/05/2019 14:50

Congrats on the positive scans @PickledEgg89 and @Starrynights86
A lovely thing to see the heartbeat 💗

Sorry I can reassure @TDLO as haven't heard of a haemotoma but I'm sure someone else will have some experience of it. In the meantime I think you are right to trust the midwife.

Poor Pips experience has really shaken me as I've been having the same brown spotting as her, although nothing in last few days. I was sure she would be fine. Loss of symptoms has freaked me a bit so I am going to look into getting another scan this week.

codenameduchess · 06/05/2019 18:09

So sorry pip

@TDLO you'd have been told if you needed best rest I'm sure, do you have a number for your midwife you could call to ask your questions?

TDLO · 06/05/2019 18:39

Thanks @codenameduchess , yes you're right, think I need to keep reminding myself of that. Yes I've got an number but they're all closed today so just thought I'd ask on here. I'll call tomorrow. Hope things are ok with you xx

agteacht · 06/05/2019 19:22

Hi all
Given I was feeling so anxious I booked in last minute for a scan. All fine and a lovely heartbeat 💗
Measuring 9+1 today in line with my dates. So I think I need to step away from google!

But also hopefully reassuring for anyone else with either brown spotting and / or loss of nausea and other symptoms. It's the not knowing that's so difficult but all is well 😊

Starrynights86 · 07/05/2019 06:38

Great news @agteacht, glad to hear everything is going well!

TDLO · 07/05/2019 07:58

@agteacht , that's brilliant news, congratulations. I just realised you commented on my "line experts" thread when I wasn't sure about my test 😊 lovely to see you on here x
