I'm hoping I haven't missed a December 2019 thread- apologies if I have.
I got my BFP at 10dpo this morning, giving me an estimated due date of 2nd December.
I know it's incredibly early-I'm very nervous about that at the moment!
Is there anyone else with a December 2019 due date yet?

Just wanted to say goodbye and good luck to you all. My pregnancy was not meant to be :((

smartcarnotsosmartdriver · 26/04/2019 07:13

@Ladysap I'm so so sorry to hear that Thanks

fonxey · 26/04/2019 08:21

@agteacht oh dear i hope everything is ok and dr Google isn't always very good! You might just have done something to your arm!

@Ladysap I'm so sorry. Sad

fonxey · 26/04/2019 08:37

My belly feels slightly... Funny. Not sure as to why.

Definite tmi to follow!

First... Something's get a sharp pain at the bottom of my belly. Now it just feels weird. Maybe just due to bring ever so slightly constipated? I mean i have been going but they are hard. Might be that but i don't know, i feel a little insecure...

I was used to getting the odd little crampy pain that would shift positions and last second.

And I'm not cramping, i don't think although now i have an ache in my bottom. But my belly just feels tight and off. Hmm

frillyfarmer · 26/04/2019 08:57

@agteacht I don't want to worry you unnecessarily but you need to call EPU if you haven't - shoulder tip pain is the best and most documented symptom of ectopic and it is always best to get these things checked out ASAP. I hope everything is ok xx

smartcarnotsosmartdriver · 26/04/2019 11:35

Morning everyone, just has my booking app with my midwife, she's really nice. However I'm feeling like a bad mum already, I have a high BMI, higher than I thought it was and my pregnancy is now "consultant lead". I'll likely have additional growth scans as baby is more likely to be big. I'll be on aspirin from around 16 weeks. I'll need a meeting with the anaesthetist to discuss additional things they might need to do again linked to weight. I feel so selfish for putting baby through all this just because I can't close my damned mouth and step away from the snacks. I lost 5 stone last year but I'm still a lot bigger than I should be.

codenameduchess · 26/04/2019 12:09

@smartcarnotsosmartdriver I was consultant lead first time for high bmi, baby was fine and regular size and the anaesthetist appointment was them asking if I want an epidural then pointing to where it would go.... there are risks associated, but they are still quite small.
fully expect the same this time, despite all my efforts I'm now heavier 🤦‍♀️ although I'm 100% fitter and have a really healthy diet I just can't seem to actually loose lbs without nearly killing myself!

codenameduchess · 26/04/2019 12:09

Well done on the 5 stone though, that's incredible!!

PickledEgg89 · 26/04/2019 12:21

I had the doctors this morning and have been prescribed all the medication for HG 🤢 just pleased they are willing to intervene early.
Those that have booked private early scans, how much have you paid? I can't find cheaper than £79 around here and I'm just not sure I can justify it Sad
Hope everyone is doing okay!

Beaglemum93 · 26/04/2019 13:38

It's £79 where I've booked mine @PickledEgg89. I had several private scans in my first pregnancy and found they would give reassurance for that day and I'd go back to worrying again (as it turned out I was right to be worried). So I guess it depends if you feel you would benefit from the early scans or not.

smartcarnotsosmartdriver · 26/04/2019 17:10

Thank you @codenameduchess it's good to hear someone else has been through it and your baby was fine. My midwife was lovely but obviously there's things she has to tell me about.

agteacht · 26/04/2019 17:48

Thank you @frillyfarmer and @fonxey
I almost went to EPU earlier as also had spotting.

BUT went to my early scan instead and there was a baby where it should be! With a heartbeat!

So this mysterious pain is not ectopic. Thank god!!! Would prefer there was no spotting but the physician was very reassuring and really thinks there's no problem.

So relieved. Measured 7w5d and 1.4mm with a heartbeat of 161bpm. Due date moved forward to 8 December. Looks like I'm really having a baby ❤️

elephantmarch · 26/04/2019 17:50

@agteacht how are you feeling? Has the arm pain gone. Sorry it wasn’t for this time @ladysap if I remember you conceived through ivf I really hope it works in the future for you

@pickledegg89 hg is rotten I’m glad you’re getting medication to help with it.

@smartcar don’t play yourself down. 5 st loss is a huge achievement

MinnieLou · 26/04/2019 18:07

So sorry @Ladysap please take care 💜

@fonxey I have the exact same thing! I was/am constipated too.. and started off with sharp pains now dull ache in belly almost all the time it's horrible. Also started getting a pain in my bum cheek (like sciatica) which is horrible!

I'm so glad @agteacht 😁🥰

Is anyone on the Facebook group? I've emailed Sunday but not been added, apologies I've forgotten who's email it was I emailed was it @Enwi please correct if wrong 😊 just want to make sure it was received x

codenameduchess · 26/04/2019 18:53

@smartcarnotsosmartdriver had my booking this evening and had the same bmi discussion, I'll be shared care but as it's the only risk factor she's not concerned. glucose test at 20 something weeks and an appointment with a consultant.

Date for 12 week scan will be confirmed next week but only about 4 weeks away. I feel like that's the next hurdle to get to, then 20 week scan, then 26 weeks.... then 37.

agteacht · 26/04/2019 19:28

Thank you so much @MinnieLou !

It's still there @elephantmarch but no ecoptic at scan. I need to stay away from google

@smartcarnotsosmartdriver @codenameduchess what constitutes a high BMI roughly? Have my booking in appt on Tuesday...

@Ladysap I'm so sorry this has happened. Take care and be kind to yourself

codenameduchess · 26/04/2019 19:49

@agteacht I think it's 35 and above is high risk

smartcarnotsosmartdriver · 26/04/2019 19:55

My midwife had some risks associated with a BMI above 30 I think but I seemed to fall into the category of last resort, above 40. I'm in Scotland which might have different criteria?

BostonFern · 26/04/2019 20:31

Evening ladies.

@Ladysap I'm really sorry to hear that. I hope you are getting all the support you need.

@fonxey how are you feeling this evening?

@smartcarnotsosmartdriver It sounds like you've done amazingly well losing 5 stone- you're not a bad mum, you're getting all the care you need, making you a conscious caring mum!

@PickledEgg89 Hope the anti-sickness meds help. My early scan was £70 (but they do them for £50 on Mondays). I found it very reassuring. We are having another next weekend as part of the NIPT test too.

@agteacht What great news-you must be so happy and relieved! I hope the arm pain goes soon though.

I've been a bit quiet on here for a few days as we've had a few days away from home. Had a lovely few days, but tonight I'm paying for all the walking we did. Had a nap yesterday and today too, and I don't think I've had such a deep sleep during a nap in a very long time.
Other than that I'm now at 9 weeks, still nauseous (trying to eat little and often to help with that, but struggling to face food at times) and my boobs are mega achey and sore! Need to wee what seems like every twenty minutes and getting light headed when I stand up (I suspect that might be partly hormones and partly because I have a heart condition I can't take medication for whilst pregnant). Looking forward to the promised land that is the second trimester!

fonxey · 26/04/2019 21:29

@MinnieLou glad it isn't just me! I guess I'm glad I'm getting a few more symptoms now. Just not the ones i was expecting, haha. I guess i still have time.

I went out to yo sushi today for post birthday meal with my bf. Totally forgot i was pregnant and ate sashimi which had been discussed in a roll. I just didn't think. Ooops. My weakness!

Pregnancy obviously effecting me though. We only are half what we usually get through. Well i did.

Enwi · 26/04/2019 22:21

@minnielou have you had a reply now? If not send me another email. Email address is [email protected]

Ladysap · 26/04/2019 22:29

@elephantmarch thank you 🙏 yes 4th round of IVF 2nd miscarriage. 2 more Emby's in the freezer so there's still hope, just need to process the emotions before we go again.

Thank you everyone else for all the kind comments.

Wishing you all very healthy and problem free pregnancies.

X

agteacht · 26/04/2019 22:31

@BostonFern thank you! Yes I am so so relieved. Good luck for your NIPT next week. I need to research it, is it always at 10 weeks? Hope your tiredness subsides soon.

BostonFern · 27/04/2019 10:08

@agteacht we are having the Panorama test done, which you can have from 9 weeks onwards. The doctor we saw recommended leaving it until closer to ten weeks though, I assume that's to make sure there's enough foetal DNA in the maternal blood sample. We've decided to get it done before the NHS combined test as I'm 35 so my age will push the risk up on that test (and I'll probably then worry and still get a NIPT done anyway!). Hopefully it'll reduce some of the stress associated with the 12 week scan.

Hi @BostonFern how do you know which tests to do? I have my booking appt on Tuesday, do you think the midwife will go through the options with me then?
