I'm hoping I haven't missed a December 2019 thread- apologies if I have.
I got my BFP at 10dpo this morning, giving me an estimated due date of 2nd December.
I know it's incredibly early-I'm very nervous about that at the moment!
Is there anyone else with a December 2019 due date yet?

Yeah @BostonFern we were planning on telling people after our 12 week scan and we were so close!

agteacht · 01/05/2019 21:30

Yesterday exhaustion
Today no tiredness at all
Who knows...

Sweetpeace · 02/05/2019 08:34

@smartcarnotsosmaetdriver I was the same when my scan date came through. Except I’m on holiday that week so it’s now been pushed back to 31 May when I’ll be 14+1. It really is a loooooong wait between now and then!

TDLO · 03/05/2019 00:25

Hi all, delighted to be joining this thread today after a reassurance scan due to previous mmc. Measuring 6+4 (I had 6+6 on apps so v close). Seen heartbeat flickering away. Cannot believe it.
Due approx 20/12. So excited. Still mega nervous as I know it's very early. But it's reassuring knowing that my body hasn't tricked me like last time.
Wishing everyone safe pregnancies.

smartcarnotsosmartdriver · 03/05/2019 13:00

@TDLO congrats and welcome!

TDLO · 03/05/2019 18:42

@smartcarnotsosmartdriver thank you 😊

agteacht · 03/05/2019 19:11

Hi all and welcome @TDLO - congrats on the scan too

Well I am 8+5 today and have a tiny bit of brown spotting over last 24 hours. This is the fourth time I've had spotting since finding out I'm pregnant so given all was fine when I had a scan a week ago I'm just having to ignore it. But I would prefer it didn't happen. Haven't had many other symptoms these last couple of days. Problem is you can read so many things online that either suggest you have a problem if your symptoms go away or suggest it's normal because symptoms subside or come and go. I'm not sure I'll last to 12 weeks for the next scan so might end up having one at 10 weeks or so depending on how my nerves hold out...

TDLO · 03/05/2019 19:23

@agteacht thank you. I know how you feel, it's so hard to relax and just trust what is happening. There's so much reading and different info out there. Hope things go well for you.

smartcarnotsosmartdriver · 03/05/2019 19:40

Well @agteacht I've had a scan at 8 & 10 weeks and I think I'll have another private one at 12 and my NHS dating scan is 13+5 so pretty much every 2 weeks. It seems to be the only way I can stop myself going mad but I hope that after then I'll be ok to wait until 20(ish) weeks.

agteacht · 03/05/2019 21:00

Aw I know what you mean @smartcarnotsosmartdriver !

After my 12w I will have to force myself to hold out to 16w at least, though the private scans near me are much cheaper after 12w than the early scans so I'm sure I'll convince myself it's fine to do another one! They are so reassuring though.

Kizzy8705 · 04/05/2019 07:13

Hey ladies I’ve not been on the thread for a while as I’ve done nothing but vomit. Hope you’re all doing ok xx

elephantmarch · 04/05/2019 07:55

Morning. Sorry to hear that @kizzy. Hopefully it’ll subside by the 2nd trimester have you seen a Gp? I think you can get stuff to help. I’m looking at three bits of information, the what to expect app, the mans guide to baby sizes ( as my husband would have no idea how big a prune is) and an app called pregnancy (which I think is run by Philips) the last one has the most amazing 3 d images of what a child will look like at each week. It’s incredible, take a look.

Pip231018 · 04/05/2019 08:52

@agteacht I have just woke up and had some light brown spotting, it more like a discharge than blood. I'm so confused. I've got a scan booked next week, will be 9 weeks exactly then got my 12 week scan on 4th June. I have a sore lower back and my boobs are killing. Just hoping everything is ok.

agteacht · 04/05/2019 11:17

Hi @Pip231018 sorry to hear this, it is worrying. Mine was more like discharge too. It's stopped today and wasn't a huge amount in total so my motto is unless it's actual bleeding it's okay. When I mc'ed before it was like a full on period and worse (sorry tmi). And started as period like bleeding. Let me know how you get on x

codenameduchess · 04/05/2019 11:57

@Pip231018 I've had brown discharge a couple of times, had a scan at epu first time and they said all was good and could see a hematoma so probably just a bit of 'old blood' working it's way out, second time I just asked the question and was told not to worry unless actual blood

Pip231018 · 04/05/2019 12:26

@agteacht @codenameduchess Thank you. I know it's kind of normal, but it's hard to rationalise with your worry isn't it. Realistically you know if you're filling a pad with blood, then you know you need to call someone. I too am trying to just get on with things and hope for the best.
I hope you two are both getting on ok. X

agteacht · 04/05/2019 13:19

I agree it is horrible @Pip231018. It would be much better if it never appeared!! How far are you from your next scan?

agteacht · 04/05/2019 13:22

Oh sorry just read it's next week. That's great, that will help a lot. I had one a bit over a week ago and told the sonographer I was convinced it was ecoptic because of arm pain and spotting. She was like... eh there you go a little heartbeat. Such a relief... but it doesn't last long.
I have a stressful job with huge responsibility - but I can't cope with this at all. Isn't it funny how pregnancy brings out all your vulnerabilities x

SarahBriga · 04/05/2019 18:15

Hi everyone! I’m 8 weeks pregnant. Thought I was 9 but just had my dating scan today. Really hoping I go early, having a birthday around Christmas is not fun! So excited though! Seeing my baby’s heartbeat on the screen was magical xx

SarahBriga · 04/05/2019 18:19

I feel like there are so many of us who feel like this! Brown blood is fine, it’s just old blood. I think it’s time to worry when the blood is red and there’s lots of it. I half wish I had sickness, at least then I would feel pregnant! I always thought those women who give birth without knowing they’re pregnant were crazy, but now I understand!🤣 xx

PickledEgg89 · 04/05/2019 19:09

Hello all. How is everyone doing?
I'm booked in for a scan tomorrow afternoon. Feeling so nervous! I should be 7+2 or thereabouts.
Still suffering so badly with hg, I know it's going to get worse before it gets better but 🤢🤢 I feel so guilty for my other little ones and poor husband is having to do everything around the house. Oh well. This is definitely the last time I'm doing this 😂 x

BostonFern · 04/05/2019 19:14

Welcome and congratulations @TDLO 👋🏻

@agteacht sorry to hear about the spotting again, good news it's stopped today though.

@Pip231018 sorry to hear you've been spotting too, pregnancy is so stressful!

@Kizzy8705 sorry you're having such a bad time with sickness, hopefully it'll pass soon.

Welcome and congratulations @SarahBriga 👋🏻 Seeing the heartbeat is amazing, isn't it.

Sorry I've been quiet the last few days-it's been a tricky time. Had an 'episode' with my heart (pre-existing condition) so ended up having a trip in an ambulance to the hospital, given the ok that it wasn't anything else to worry about, which was a relief but naturally I was worried that it could have affected the baby. Was reassured by GP and the midwife on Thursday, then again yesterday at my booking in appointment, but was still worrying. Luckily, we had our NIPT test booked in for today with a scan- I was so, so relieved to see a wriggling little bean on the screen with a good heartbeat! Now measuring as 10+4, and happy to be getting closer to the second trimester.

@PickledEgg89 sorry to hear hg is still causing you problems. I know what you mean about nerves before the scan- got my fingers crossed for you for tomorrow x

Pip231018 · 04/05/2019 19:50

@BostonFern So glad everything is ok. Sorry that you were poorly, hope you have time to rest and look after yourself.

I've had some more bleeding, I'm 7+6, showed my Mum the tissue and she didn't think it was anything to worry about. Have been on every clinic website in the Manchester to find availability for a scan tomorrow, which I have booked for tomorrow. Did not expect pregnancy to have this impact on me. I also have another scan booked for next Sunday, is there a support group for serial scanners?!!

I've got a really sore back and my ovaries feel like they are fluttering, bit like just before your period but no real pain. On my last scan they detected my Corpus luteum cyst and said I ovulated on the left which is where I can feel the most ovary activity - wondering if it can be related?

Pip231018 · 04/05/2019 19:55

Also for anyone bleeding, I found this in an article

Research amongst women with a history of recurrent miscarriage has shown that those who saw a heartbeat at 6 weeks of pregnancy had a 78% chance of the pregnancy continuing. It also showed that seeing a heartbeat at 8 weeks increased the chance of a continuing pregnancy to 98% and at 10 weeks that went up to 99.4%.
