It seems earlier and sharper to me too. I have only the vaguest memory as last time I did this was ten years ago!

boodles101 · 07/02/2019 09:25

I have the opposite poo problem in that I seem to need to go all the time. Again probably crap diet.
I swapped sides of the bed last night so that I wasn't laying on my sore shoulder, it's so much better today but I didn't get that much sleep as it just felt strange on that side of the bed! It's at least put my mind at ease so I'll take that.

Tefiti2 · 07/02/2019 09:38

@Karigan195 10+5 here and feeling the same, it’s making me a bit twitchy even though I know they’re not sore enough to mean anything bad! I notice it especially when I’m lying down in bed for some reason, and can feel it all the way down to my groins.

pinkpig381 · 07/02/2019 10:18

@Karigan195 I'm getting the sharp lower ab pains too, sneezing, coughing, laughing can make it happen! I gathered the same as you though, that everything is stretchy down there so little things can make them stretch further than normal!

Easterbuns1 · 07/02/2019 10:36

I was spotting again this morning so called epu. No space til Wednesday unless anything changes. Should be about 10+2 then and I was 10+4 when I was told things had gone wrong last time. Will just have to wait and see.

Megan2018 · 07/02/2019 10:48

@Karigan
I had a bit of pain like that when I rode the other day (have horse), I've not had it since but as horse is wide fat I wondered if it might be due to that. Also the other day I moved awkwardly in bed and sneezed at the same time and had a bit of a sharp pain - I assumed it was ligaments then too.

@Easterbuns1
What a worry for you, hope it is nothing at all - spotting can be fine for lots of people but totally understand why you'd be concerned. This lack of control is so difficult isn't it. Literally just a waiting game which i am terrible at.

MyBreadIsEggy · 07/02/2019 10:58

Look at us all, a bunch of moaning myrtles with our horrible symptoms Grin
I’ve just done the weekly food shop, with both toddlers in tow (why I thought that was a good idea is beyond me), and honestly I’d rather suck shit through a sock than do it again Hmm But, a little perk: my local Asda has just started scan as you shop, so it took half the time, which means half the bickering between Dd and DS 💁🏻‍♀️ Every cloud and all that Grin

Easterbuns1 · 07/02/2019 11:00

I've bled in all my pregnancies, if anything it was a lot heavier and more frequent in my successful ones so I know it could go either way. I actually think I'm glad they can't see me til next week, if everything is ok then I might relax a tiny bit as I'd have got than last time.

Karigan195 · 07/02/2019 11:15

Well glad it’s not just me! I had been using the rowing machine at the gym the night it was the worst so maybe the exercise didn’t help.

I have two horses Megan. So far no problems riding them although I seem to be more susceptible to pulls etc. Horse did a yanking dancing thing and my shoulder went ouch which normally wouldn’t be an issue!

Megan2018 · 07/02/2019 11:31

@Karigan195
I'm hoping to ride as long as possible, luckily she is pretty easy these days as almost 21. Although still a bit whizzy and strong (Welsh cob x) but semi retired, so mostly hacking.
She is wide though so even not pg I do sometimes hurt a bit in the pelvic area if we do a very long ride - so not surprised if that increases now.

I'm more worried on the ground though - she is hard work with picking out hind feet as she has hock arthritis. Has never bothered me before but I had a little wobble the other day as she narrowly missed me with a very forceful kick out. It's amazing how more naturally cautious I am being without be conscious of it!

We have a rota for bringing in at weekends and I've been dodging it with excuses for last few weeks - when it was icy I was not keen as some of them are hard work and we usually bring 3 each at a time. As soon as I hit 12 weeks and can tell them the better, as won't be expected to do it then. I'm perfectly happy with mine - but some of the youngsters are idiots at the gate.

Karigan195 · 07/02/2019 11:40

Is her hoof condition generally good? You can get away without picking out feet for quite a while unless they are deep littered. Don’t risk yourself. Just leave it and I doubt she’ll come to harm. I’ve had the same horses for 17 years. Last time I was fine to ride until about 6 months when getting off got kind of hard due to stomach growth.

stroan · 07/02/2019 11:49

I’m in awe of you both horse riding! I think I would need a crane just to get me on a horse right now!

Megan2018 · 07/02/2019 12:10

@Karigan195
Yes pretty good - she's unshod behind and they don't tend to be to bad - it's just keeping small stones out of the white line tends to be her issue.
I'll try just doing it before riding instead of every day - she's a bit of a madam about it. Her hocks are stiff but when she is distracted with eating she will lift them easily and quite politely, but when she doesn't want to do it she makes a real performance about it. So it is 50% temper tantrum really. She is good at tantrums - it's the Welsh cob bit. We have tantrums about rugs, tantrums about loading, clipping, you name it.
I don't think a toddler will be a shock after all the years of dealing with 600kg cob meltdowns ;)

@stroan
I am so lucky that my symptoms thus far haven't been an issue. I need my horse time otherwise I become a complete cow. It is my only exercise though!

bakingdiva · 07/02/2019 13:31

Went for my first scan today, bang on 7 weeks......we have a prawn with a heartbeat!! 🍤

Karigan195 · 07/02/2019 13:31

that’s great bakingdiva :)

TwittleBee · 07/02/2019 14:28

Yay! bakingdiva such a relief

LaBelleSausage · 07/02/2019 16:10

Lovely news @bakingdiva, I can’t wait for mine on Saturday at 7+5! @Hodgeheg92 don’t you have yours then too?

@Lavellan I’ve got the nosebleeds too. My gums have only just recovered from last pregnancy, seriously hope my teeth survive this one!

I’ve also started fainting which I did around the 7 week mark with DS, but it’s a lot worse now that I also have a 14 month old and have to continually bend down to him.
DH is working away a lot at the moment so I feel like I’m on my own most of the time and it’s horrid. At least once the scan is out of the way I’ll feel like I can tell my parents and get some support from them.

Plus I’ve also got the joys of constipation. I’ve got a huge bottle of lactulose from after I had DS but I don’t want to have to resort to that!
I was tempted to get my maternity jeans out this morning but I think it’s bloat rather than anything else. What was the app with the details about womb size?

Megan2018 · 07/02/2019 16:59

@bakingdiva
That's great news! What a relief I bet.

MyBreadIsEggy · 07/02/2019 17:59

Those of you who already have DCs please tell me you understand where I’m coming from here: Since Monday, my kids (DD is 3, DS is 2) have been fucking horrendous. I might as well talk to a brick wall. They have no respect for me, their stuff, nothing - they destroy literally everything. Today has been a particularly hideous day, and I can’t quite believe we are bringing another baby into this mess Sad All I want to do is sit in a dark room and cry Sad

LaBelleSausage · 07/02/2019 18:03

@MyBreadIsEggy DS is only 14 months, and I think we were lulled into a false sense of security as he’s usually pretty delightful - other than when it comes to sleeping, but sticking a nipple in his mouth quickly fixes that.
However, the last few days he’s not been sleeping well thanks to canines, and he is Satan personified! The realisation that we’ll be bringing a newborn in just as he hits the terrible twos has just dawned on us Gin

MyBreadIsEggy · 07/02/2019 18:08

LaBelle I think DS gave us the false sense of security too - Dd hit the terrible twos quite early, at around 20 months. But DS was 2 in October and has been his usual cute, happy self ever since. But this week, it’s like a switch has flicked in his head, and he is fucking hideous. I could literally scream his name at the top of my lungs and he won’t even acknowledge I’m speaking to him. Today, he’s up-ended ever single toy box in our kallax unit, and proceeded to throw every toy at the wall Hmm DD goes out of her way to wind him up and encourage him, which gives me the rage because she’s almost 4, and definitely old enough to understand that’s not ok.
I’m just totally over this whole parenting thing today.

DustyDoorframes · 07/02/2019 18:12

eggy my guess would be pent up nonsense from you withdrawing a bit because you were feeling so crap- you've perked up a bit so now they are bringing it all out. My two are definitely ramping up as I keel a bit. Bedtimes are horrific. I was thinking "oh this will pass once the baby's here and they've got used to each other!" Then I realised that's basically a year and a half away...

MyBreadIsEggy · 07/02/2019 18:15

Dusty Thursdays are always the worst day because it’s the only day Dd doesn’t go to preschool - they are both in each others way all day and wind each other up something chronic. But I’m definitely feeling way less tolerant of bad behaviour than usual - my fuse is a millimetre long at the moment, which I’m putting down to hormones and sheer exhaustion.
DH has come home and taken the helm - he’s made it very clear to Dd that her behaviour today has been unacceptable, and she must earn her tv/tablet time back by behaving properly tomorrow. They are both now sitting listening to him read a story and it’s the first time it’s been quiet all day!

Whisky2014 · 07/02/2019 18:22

Well today I have had bad toilet episodes. I'm sure my new colleagues think u have a problem. And u felt really dizzy for about 20 minutes and my heart was racing. I'm having a quiet weekend to recoup. My boob is not sore, I'm not sure it us mastitis. I'm gona order some new comfy bras and see if that helps.

stroan · 07/02/2019 18:28

@mybreadiseggy dd is fairly good but there was a period while we were TTC that really made no wonder if I could cope with two of her! It’s the not listening that winds me up.

I love her so much, but nursery is the saviour of our relationship.
