September 2019 babies?

abi2790 · 27/12/2018 14:30

Do we have any September due dates yet?

This one came as a big shock for me. I had my coil out on 30th November and must have conceived pretty much straight away. Considering it took quite a long time to get DD, the BFP was a big shock!

This one will be my third!

Minnielou look after yourself and rest as much as you can.

TwittleBee · 23/01/2019 13:10

all added in for you Hsunshine Smile

oh bless you Opheliaetc , I agree that symptoms really do just come and go and it isnt uncommon for symptoms to start drying up post 8 weeks too!

that is going to be a long wait for a phone call MinnieLou FX for you

Easterbuns1 · 23/01/2019 13:12

@MinnieLou I'm sorry you had to go through that on your own, take care of yourself. I know you didn't want to tell work so soon but might be worth speaking to someone you trust if you are going to need another day off on Friday. Really hope things work out.

Hello to the new posters!

CookieBlue · 23/01/2019 13:55

@MinnieLou really hope everything is ok Flowers.

I haven’t had many symptoms yet but they do seem to be coming and going. Yesterday had lots of period type cramps but today, nothing.

Hi to all the new posters!

PastaSauceHoarder · 23/01/2019 14:29

My symptoms seem to be up and down too. A big wave of nausea hit me yesterday morning and I thought 'oh here it is, here we go' but then nothing today.

Tiredness and spots seem to be the most constant symptoms for me!

TwittleBee · 23/01/2019 15:09

oh dont the acne is awful! I do not remember it being this bad with DS PastaSauceHoarder

PastaSauceHoarder · 23/01/2019 16:06

I had it terrible with my DD @TwittleBee, plus greasy skin and hair to match! 😂

TwittleBee · 23/01/2019 16:08

oh yeah now you say it... greasy hair here too! Did you ever get that pregnancy "glow" that people seem to talk about PastaSauceHoarder ?

PastaSauceHoarder · 23/01/2019 16:15

I wish! No I had a permanently green tinge all through my first trimester. Grin

MinnieLou · 23/01/2019 16:17

Thank you all.

Had a call back around 2.30 and she said my hcg levels are high so they're unsure what's going on.
I told her I've been bleeding and clotting since the scan and she said oh.. she said well we might need to do another scan tomorrow so I'll get back to you. So now just waiting again, no indication of what they think might be going on either 😩 x

MinnieLou · 23/01/2019 16:19

Sorry not high but as expected for 5 weeks x

TwittleBee · 23/01/2019 16:22

I am so so sorry this is happening MinnieLou did they see any of the bleeding on the scan?

MinnieLou · 23/01/2019 16:35

@TwittleBee I wasn't told anything at all. She did it and got me to push on each side of my tummy, she asked if it's ok for her to get a second opinion I said yeah but the other lady was busy so she just asked me to clean up and wait again for someone to see me. The nurse saw me and just said we're going to do a blood test, did it and said you may need to come back Friday but we will let you know. I was there for 2 and a half hours! 4th in line!

She then rang and said my levels were as expected so unsure what's going on and I may need to come back tomorrow for another scan but she will ring me back (2 hours ago) Still no ring back.. xx

excitednerves · 23/01/2019 16:36

So sorry MinnieLou. Hopefully they can give you a scan tomorrow to confirm everything. Fingers crossed that everything is OK. x

MinnieLou · 23/01/2019 16:52

I have just phoned them.
She wants me to go back in Friday for another blood test.
She said my hcg were 3653 but my progesterone was 4.1 which is extremely low and by the sounds of me bleeding and clotting afterwards she thinks is may have been a miscarriage... x

LaBelleSausage · 23/01/2019 17:12

I’m so sorry MinnieLou Flowers

TwittleBee · 23/01/2019 17:23

Oh I am so sorry that they weren't very informative of what was happening and I am so sorry that it looks like a MC MinnieLou Flowers

PastaSauceHoarder · 23/01/2019 17:26

I'm really

PastaSauceHoarder · 23/01/2019 17:27

I'm really sorry, @MinnieLou. Flowers

(Posted too soon)

Tefiti2 · 23/01/2019 17:37

Have been lurking through exhaustion for the past few weeks! 8+3 today and feeling better. Had a scan late last week which showed a lovely little blob with a really fast heartbeat! So lovely to read all the ladies early scans going well, and @twittlebee :-)
So so sorry you’re going through this uncertainty @MinnieLou, try and spoil yourself tonight xx

MinnieLou · 23/01/2019 18:06

Thank you all for the support.
I know I don't manage to reply to everyone but honestly all us strangers coming together makes things that little bit easier.. especially when a lot of us haven't told anyone so no one to turn to that may understand.

I will update you all Friday.
I truly hope that all have a well pregnancy and maybe one day I will too.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for myself and maybe it's something else causing it.

Again thank you all x

MunchyMunchkin · 23/01/2019 18:26

Sorry to hear your news @minnielou sadly that is a low progesterone.

BBell2 · 23/01/2019 18:41

@Minnielou I'm just catching up today and I'm sorry to read your having such a horrible time. this early bit is the worst, I work with lots of south Americans living in the UK who tell you when they find out, because if the worst happens they don't want to be alone....almost across the board. I used to think _ what on earth are you telling us for and now I just think I want my closest to know. I'd want a bloody big hug! Xxx

BBell2 · 23/01/2019 18:44

Nosey question but anyone else classified as Geriatric? I wasn't last time but will be 36 soon, do they do anything differently? I assume due to PND and DD measuring small to the end I might have to do more monitoring but I'm up for everythibg this time last time I worked to due date, appointments on holidays - not this time assuming it goes OK.

GemmaJen · 23/01/2019 19:39

@MinnieLou I'm so sorry. It sounds like your EPU could do with being more informative, leaving you in the lurch is so unfair. Fx that things work out for you x
