September 2019 babies?

abi2790 · 27/12/2018 14:30

Do we have any September due dates yet?

This one came as a big shock for me. I had my coil out on 30th November and must have conceived pretty much straight away. Considering it took quite a long time to get DD, the BFP was a big shock!

This one will be my third!

@TwittleBee that's great news

MinnieLou · 22/01/2019 17:15

@TwittleBee what brilliant news!
According to dates I should be 5 + 3 today..
I'm going epu tomorrow as I've been bleeding for the past week. Was it an internal scan they did? I'm anxious about it all and easily work myself up.. so wondering what they're likely to do xx

TwittleBee · 22/01/2019 17:19

Thanks everyone!

MinnieLou Yes it was an internal but only because my tilted uterus always makes it awkward this early to do it over the belly. Good luck xx

TwittleBee · 22/01/2019 17:20

Certainly get it checked out Easterbuns1 it really could be nothing. hopefully it's nothing and you'll just get an early peak at baby

Easterbuns1 · 22/01/2019 17:45

I'm not sure it would put my mind at rest any but if it has ended the same as last time I'd rather know. Will call in the morning and see what they say.

excitednerves · 22/01/2019 20:08

I need a little bit of reassurance, I’m getting incredibly anxious about my dating scan, it’s in 3 weeks today. I had a little bleed at 6 weeks, had a scan at EPU, everything normal and saw a heartbeat. But now I can’t stop dreading something will go wrong.

I haven’t had the nausea that everyone else has - I get it after eating. Like the feeling you get after stuffing yourself in Christmas Day, but even if I’ve just had a sandwich. Otherwise, very manageable symptoms. No pain or any more bleeding. But I am just so worried!

I’m trying to keep myself calm but it’s so hard not knowing what’s happening.

TwittleBee · 22/01/2019 20:15

That's the same nausea as me excitednerves ! (Total opposite of previous pregnancies).

I am sorry you're so worried but honestly no pain and no bleeding is such a good sign. Many women only have limited symptoms too, I think we just hear the harder side more is all.

MyBreadIsEggy · 22/01/2019 20:29

I’m the same - only mild nausea that comes and goes, rather than a constant horrible nausea like I had in previous pregnancies.
The only thing that’s got me feeling that everything is ok is that my boobs appear to be doubling in size every day Blush

excitednerves · 22/01/2019 20:54

Thanks @twittlebee and @mybreadiseggy that helps. Just wishing the next 3 weeks to go by and that everything’s ok.

Florencenotflo · 22/01/2019 20:55

I've got some spotting/bleeding here too. I'm hoping it's nothing, I've got a dating scan on Friday so I doubt EPU will see me any quicker. I don't think I can go through this again if it is a miscarriage.

Will ring my midwife and EPU in the morning though and get their advice.

mrss2018 · 22/01/2019 21:00

@excitednerves I'm not having any sickness and feel your pain! Ridiculously nervous for my scan on Sunday- decided to pay for one after mmc!

My boobs have gone up a cup size and that is pretty much my only symptom- but from what I can gather that's normal so try and stay positive! The odds are on our side!
Lots of love xx

hodgeheg92 · 22/01/2019 21:03

MyBreadIsEggy Further down the line I may pick your brains on home birth!

Lovely news twittlebee

@easterbuns1 You should call, I understand why you don't want to though.

@excitednerves Last time someone said to me that I should assume I'm pregnant and everything is fine until I have proof otherwise. That helped me to settle the anxious feeling a little

excitednerves · 22/01/2019 21:09

That’s good advice @hedgehog92. Thank you

@mrss2018 it’s the lack of symptoms that worries me most. From some of the posts on here I feel like I should be unable to function normally! They do say comparison is the thief of joy. I guess we should be grateful for the easy pregnancies though.

mrss2018 · 22/01/2019 21:52

@excitednerves- yes! And like @hodgeheg92 says assume you are until you have proof otherwise! I'd not heard that before but it's true...also we might get hit like a tonne of bricks with sickness in a weeks time so enjoy these puke free days!! Haha xx

Megan2018 · 22/01/2019 22:41

Is anyone else obsessively knicker checking for bleeding? I’m at it at least hourly-always convinced I can feel it. It’s discharge, I’ve always had it-its exactly the same. But still obsessively checking and wiping. Arrgghhh!!

jazzyjellybeans · 22/01/2019 23:40

@Megan2018 me! Constantly checking!

TwittleBee · 23/01/2019 05:07

Me too with the blood checking! Although my discharge is certainly different to prepregnancy (almost like EWCM all the time now).

excitednerves · 23/01/2019 05:14

@florencenotflo I hope everything is ok. I’d ring in the morning. Sending good thoughts.

@mrss2018 thanks! My husband think I’m mad for wishing to feel worse! Ha!

@megan2018 - yes! Every time I go to the loo!

boodles101 · 23/01/2019 07:23

excitednerves I'm the same with the lack of symptoms. But I didn't have any with DS last time so I know I was lucky to avoid sickness. Even though I know that, it's still hard to have that little niggle in the back of your head.
I just feel like time is going sooooo slow. I found out super early as I have a shorter cycle and it just seems forever ago now. I think once I have a date for a booking appt I'll have something to look forward to, but it's just in limbo at the mo!

Florencenotflo · 23/01/2019 07:36

The bleeding didn't get any worse before bed and nothing overnight. Woke up feeling so sick. So now I'm worried and confused! Going to text my MW in a bit but Fridays scan can't come quick enough!

Karigan195 · 23/01/2019 07:38

I had norovirus with my first and it was 11 years ago so I keep thinking I should be feeling worse. My little bean seems to like to remind me to eat. If a meals late I get horrible nausea and painful dry heaves. If I eat and keep hydrated I feel nothing except bloated!

Karigan195 · 23/01/2019 07:39

Florence it does say something like a third of pregnancies have some bleeding so try to relax. It could just be normal for you

Florencenotflo · 23/01/2019 08:03

@Karigan195 yes, I've read that it can be quite common. So hard not to worry though!

MyBreadIsEggy · 23/01/2019 08:10

I’m checking for bleeding all the time too.

And have joined the club with those who are having crazy dreams!! I remember it happening with my last 2 babies as well. Last night, I went on a bad-guy slaying spree with the cast of True Blood HmmGrin

bakingdiva · 23/01/2019 08:14

Hi, can I join in? I got a positive test on Monday and I think my due date is 25th September. I had an IVF frozen embryo transfer so dates get a bit weird.

This will be my 2nd as we have a 3 year old already.
