Thank you ladies. It's really such a relief. I've been feeling less sick and less tired. So with the bleed I was convinced that it was something bad. So really pleased everything is looking good so far Grin

@RooKangaroo I'm under consultant care due to having a few fibroids and previously having very large ovarian cysts. I have no idea what they'll do. I've got an appointment with a consultant but not till February. I've got my 12 week can on the 31st so I'll see how big the fibroid is then and see what they suggest.

Has anyone found that they are turning into moody irrational bitches who are constantly up for an argument? 🙋‍♀️

Amazing news @ForTheLoveOfDoughnuts ! So pleased for you.
Yes @Onestep2 I am ultra sensitive at the moment!!
Had my booking in apt and the midwife was lovely. She agreed with me that c section would be the way forward after 2 past complicated births. She's put me under consultant care as my DD1 was low birth weight (6lbs 8) so I get extra growth scans! Bonus. DD1 is just diddy, was at birth and still is now. She's 9 and her 6.5 yr old sister is taller than her 😂

@Onestep2 I'm definitely less able to cope with all the idiots at work. They've got my blood boiling constantly!

36 weeks, but IUGR so he'd stopped growing a while before that!

Not sure if I'll get growth scans as I seem to grow small babies. My four were

5lb 10oz
5lb 12oz
6lb
6lb

I do, however, seem to grow rotting placentas :( last time they were threatening to get her out at 30 weeks and I had to have steroid injections etc. It was horrible. But, new daddy this time so the midwife said it might not happen...

Oops posted on the old thread!

I've brought my scan forward to tonight ! I had one booked for 23rd but I'm too impatient, and also thinking if there's something wrong I don't want to wait til 2 days before Xmas to find out.

Has anyone had a scan at round about 7+2? That's what I am today , worried it's not going to be very clear , I've never had a scan before 12 weeks before. I just want to know there's a heartbeat and measuring roughly what I expect to 🙈 so nervous now, and have to go alone

BirthdayKake · 12/12/2018 12:57

I've had a couple before this pregnancy, Regina. Couldn't see anything that looked like a baby, but a heartbeat and a yolk sac. Good luck!

@ForTheLoveOfDoughnuts that is such lovely news! I am so happy for you.

Keeping everything crossed for @dartmoordoughnut.

@ReginaPhalange89 I posted on the other thread, but will post here too! I will look forward to the next update post-scan. I hope it all goes lovely for you.

I had my booking in appointment today which went better than I could have imagined. I felt really reassured by the midwife who was lovely. 12 week scan is booked in for 10th January - I cannot wait. I'm looking forward to seeing how baby has grown.

Nausea is still horrid, and I've lost a little weight but I am sure I will start to gain it in no time. Smile

Hope everyone else is doing well.

I also think ive got a bit of a tummy going on even though its very early still (10+3)

yesterday finally found a flat that we like and thats in our price range. so we have a new home, needs some tlc but we've got time and we can fix it up with a lick of paint and hopefully have thing ready by the middle of january.

Not been posting much but keeping up to date.

@ReginaPhalange89 I had a scan on Sunday and they dated me 7+5 and it was a very clear picture of a little peanut. Could see heartbeat and it was just a normal external scan so you should see something 😊

ReginaPhalange89 · 12/12/2018 14:26

Thank you @MyloC ! Hopefully I'll get a nice clear shot too!

I'm just so worried after all the bad news this group seems to have had ! Worrying that they'll say I'm not measuring what I think or something like that

MakeAWhish · 12/12/2018 14:27

Teeny @Laburna ! I should have said, she was diddy for her gestation - which was 42 weeks! 6lb8 at 42 weeks is too small apparently? But they weren't concerned back then. I'm not complaining, I get extra scans! 🥰

Report
MakeAWhish · 12/12/2018 14:29

@BirthdayKake I have a placenta problem too. Had to have manual retrieval with dd1 and it came out in bits, then had placenta abruption during dd2's birth. And they weren't the only complications! Midwife fairly sure the consultant won't argue when I ask for a c section x

Had my flu jab today and the nurse really recommended it - for anyone who hasn’t had one yet.

Then went to the midwifery suite to try and arrange a booking in appointment - one person there, I think a health care assistant, didn’t have a clue what I was supposed to do, couldn’t book me an appointment and I just left my details on a scrappy bit of paper. Apparently someone will call me back, even though I said I didn’t want anyone calling me as I don’t want anything to be overheard whilst I’m at work.

I give up! Sad

@fortheloveofdoughnuts so pleased for you, great news and the reassurance that all is ok in there.

I’ve told my line manager this afternoon as she was soo happy for me but now needs to tell her manager to start the risk assessments, now counting down the days until scan I mean - opticians appointment 😉 x

Had booking in appointment but when she asked which hospital she realised I'd need to have a different booking in appointment for that hospital trust - so now got to start again and wait to hear from them - unlikely to be before Xmas unfortunately. Started welling up talking about previous birth - I'm such an idiot! Will be under consultant but I can still see her for routine appointments which is good as she was really lovely.

Will book in for flu jab! Mentioned to Consultant today and she was quite stern about it, so will sort!

On that note, had my weekly scan and measuring 10+1 and actually looking like a baby! I cry every time they find a heartbeat. Poor little bean was happily chilling on bottom of uterus but she wanted it to move so she properly whacked me in the stomach and he/she shot up, waving around, was mental!

@Itsallgreek - I’ve definitely got a bit of a pot going on, could well be bloat but I’m petite and usually flat stomached. Although prob not helping I’ve sacked any exercise and being rather more relaxed with my eating habits :)

Good luck @Regina, it will be fine I’m sure x
