Room for another? I was on the August thread with a 5/8 due date but found out this morning that it’s twins! TWO BABIES. So they will be delivered early/mid July if all goes well!

Absolutely bricking it. This will be DC 2&3 and DD is 21 months (Apr ‘17).

Suffering with awful hyperemesis and volcanic spots.

@CND85 I was the same at 10w turned out to be stretching pain etc and all was good. I did ring my MW and she got me a scan so maybe contact MW or EPAU if it continues.

Hi everyone I'm new on here. Hoping for some advise I'm nearly 10 weeks pregnant and getting really bad pains in my belly..... When I sneeze they are even worse. We had our first scan at 7 weeks and everything was fine. Has anyone else had these pains?

All is well 12+6 due 9th July. Took 15 min to measure the back of it's neck! Had to wiggle, shake, rock and wee a bit! Pain in the arse already. Was chewing it's hand constantly and I constantly chew my fingers!
Waiting for bloods! Argh x

I'm massive in the tummy region, but I think it's mainly bloat and food Grin should we start a new thread? I think we're nearly out! Shall post a link!

RoseBud wow Shock I want to hurry past this stage where it's a questionable bump... Especially straight after Christmas when we could have feasibly put on weight 😂

Good luck @Michelle- the waiting is the worst.

I did NCT, NHS and Daisy Foundation antenatal courses with my DD (now 17 months) and found them all to be very helpful for different reasons.

  • NHS was great for knowing my local hospitals facilities and the various pain relief options/policies.
  • Daisy Birthing was fantastic for learning effective breathing techniques and lots of hypnobirthing strategies and visualisations.
  • NCT was brilliant for making lots of friends in exactly the same position as me who live locally to us. We still see eachother regularly- all 8 couples- and 4 of us are now having our second babies. Strongly recommend this if you don’t have any friends having babies who live near you. It has been invaluable having them in my life Smile The most expensive friends I have ever made GrinWink

Regina I've definitely eaten too much 😂 but that bump felt hard earlier! It literally changed overnight.

Michelle 5"9?! That's like me and all my kids put together, ha! Glad there's another tiny pregnant lady on here though :)

I did a couple of the NHS classes with my first , think it was a block of 6 , I did 2 and never went back. Didn't find them useful at all tbh! I have heard of people doing Daisy baby birthing classes and loving them though.

On NCT, we also booked the Signature one. They said you get a full refund if something bad happens, so we just went for it, though it's not until May!

We did both the hospital classes and NCT. Found the hospital classes more useful for interventions and all methods of pain relief.
My NCT group did meet up regularly when we were all in maternity leave but I think some of the girls still see each other but we haven't met up for ages. I'm the last to have a second baby too.
Some areas offer online antenatal classes too that can be done at your own pace.
I bought some boohoo maternity leggings found them a bit baggy around the tummy at the moment.
MIL is having our 5 year old for the night but think we are going to stay in eat part food and watch films.
