@GiGi18 following on from your comment on the last thread. I agree... I have barely any symptoms but those I do have come and go daily and can be rather disconcerting when they are none existent. Although now my metal mouth is back which is what I had right at the beginning. No idea why that has come back again.

Amen to that @Frazzlerock I am hoping to rise like a Phoenix from the ashes at my scan on Thursday Wink

Frazzlerock · 27/11/2018 16:59

Ha! @BettySwoll0cks same for me tomorrow!

Another new thread! Shock

GiGi18 · 27/11/2018 17:08

@Frazzlerock yeah, it's very disconcerting.
I'm not saying I want to feel sick, yesterday I was miserable but today I'm just worried. I'm wondering if it's linked to tiredness. Think I overdid it out and about at the weekend but last night I had a really good sleep so I'm fully rested today. Got a long day tomorrow so if the nausea is back on Thursday I'll know it's tiredness that does it for me! I haven't had metal mouth yet, always wonder what it's like!

amanda2809 · 27/11/2018 17:11

Booking in done. Almost 2 hours. They've gone paperless today and my lovely midwife wasn't a fan of the new electronic system! Grin

hayleyfx · 27/11/2018 17:16

Okay I must be daft - I can’t add my name to the google doc without messing the whole thing up! 😂 help 🙈

Delilah7 · 27/11/2018 17:21

I feel soooooooo rough 😔😔

hayleyfx · 27/11/2018 17:22

Sorry to hear so many of you are struggling with sickness btw, mine was awful in my last pregnancy. Couldn’t keep anything down. I’m only 5+5 right now so only symptoms I have are exhaustion (I could sleep 24/7), sore breasts and increased appetite. Anxious hoping that I do get some sickness this pregnancy - I know I’m a weirdo 😂 I just find it reassuring. Although didn’t kick in until 7 weeks with my son.
What helped were ice lollies, ice poles, yoghurt, basically liquid foods haha. Ice cream was quite pleasant to throw up. Worst thing I threw up - either smoky bacon crisps (OUCH) or dry toast, never again!! 😂

TwittleBee · 27/11/2018 17:23

Thank you for the new thread Frazzle ! Thread 4 already, we are gonna be on thread 100 before we even start a FB group at this rate haha

BettySwoll0cks oh imagining all us who are in limbo being all pheonix-like right now 😂 🤞

amanda2809 they were electronic with DS for me! Never even realised it had recently changed. How did the appointment go for you?

MyloC · 27/11/2018 17:26

Marking my place 😊

MrsC87 · 27/11/2018 17:45

Hello Again Ladies 😊

SnailorSwift · 27/11/2018 17:51

Thread 4 already - we are fast movers!

@hayleyfx I've been living in ice lollies!

Delilah7 · 27/11/2018 17:52

@hayleyfx how did I not think of ice lollies?!?!? Life saver!!! Got some in my fridge. You babe.

SnailorSwift · 27/11/2018 17:52

*on

not in obviously!

RooKangaroo · 27/11/2018 17:52

Completely understand those without symptoms saying you want them, even if it's sickness. Nausea has probably kicked in for me and it's horrible, but it's still a bit reassuring and I get that.

DH keeps varying between sympathy and happiness about my nausea too! 🤨😆

RooKangaroo · 27/11/2018 17:52

Ice lollies are like nectar right now👍

Buggles1 · 27/11/2018 18:01

@MrsC87 feel exactly the same as you. My symptoms are quite mild, some nausea and stretchy feelings starting around my stomach again but little else. I’m 8+4 now but midwife appointment isn’t until 7th Dec (when I’ll be 10 weeks) and scan is on the 18th Dec (when I’ll be 11+4). It just seems so far away and as if everyone else seems to be having their appointments earlier. I’m also sick with worry about what we will or won’t find but feel like there is little choice but just sit it out and wait. I lost my Mum on the 13th Dec (a few years back) and had her funeral on the 21st so Xmas is hard enough without all this to worry about on top of.

Belmo · 27/11/2018 18:05

Wow thread 4!
I have one sore boob (the one that’s no longer in use! 2 year old ds still has a bedtime feed but only likes the left one!).
Nauseous some days but not today. Bit crampy today which I’m trying to be totally casual about!
Scan booked for Thursday evening when I should be 8 weeks exactly.

Meg1389 · 27/11/2018 18:15

@Frazzlerock urgh I have the metal mouth it’s doing my head in! I find that taste makes me feel sick!I carry chewing gum and mints around with me.
And @Gigi18 I have days where I feel ok and just tired but then others I have felt sick and rotten all day. I do think when I get tired I feel worse so trying to have a nap around 4 ( although this will be difficult when I’m back working). But can have some very different symptom days. Been into town today for a couple of hours and I’m shattered! Made a start of the Xmas shopping finally!

I need the better my diet I feel I’m just eating stodgy food but it’s all I fancy at the minute. Lost about half a stone since finding out though. Just think I need to be giving my body some better nutrients but the sight of stuff makes me feel urgh.

hayleyfx · 27/11/2018 18:23

@SnailorSwift @Delilah7 they’re brilliant!! In my last pregnancy I was going through a box a day 😂

DartmoorDoughnut · 27/11/2018 18:23

@amanda2809 how will the electronic bit work with carrying your notes around?! Not all trusts are on the same system/s (annoyingly) so if you’re out of area and need to be seen how will that work? Not trying to be a pain just genuinely interested!

SnailorSwift · 27/11/2018 18:33

@hayleyfx I was addicted to the Del Monte 100% orange juice ones when I was pregnant with DS 7 years ago. Bought 2 boxes yesterday and they definitely still do it for me 😂

ForTheLoveOfDoughnuts · 27/11/2018 18:34

I've just realised that the doctor didn't tell me whether I need a full bladder for tomorrow's appointment? I should be 8 weeks tomorrow (if my dates are correct).. so do I go with a full bladder or not?

TwinkleDay · 27/11/2018 18:37

@Buggles1 I hear you I have my book in appointment on Friday at 9+6 then have to wait further for my scan :( I just want to know all is ok and a bit of ressurance.
