@reeny19 loads of plant offerings for protein! Beans, lentils, peas! Chia seeds (good for hunger I'm finding also), edamame- have a wee google - the list is endless and there's some lovely ideas out there. Depending on how into the cooking you are, lots of lovely Asian dishes and dressings to be made! Miso is a gift from the gods (and excellent to marinate cod in)!

I defrosted some spag Bol last night and am looking forward to it for my dinner - I think it's meat in lump form that's killing me.
Time will tell.

RooKangaroo · 11/12/2018 11:13

Someone volunteering to do a new thread?

Jxtina86 · 11/12/2018 11:33

@twistering I've got my flu jab on Thursday. Midwife just told me to get it done when I could. I was planning on getting it this year even if I wasn't pregnant as I always get flu and it knocks me right out.

Jxtina86 · 11/12/2018 11:36

@MakeAWhish I have the same problem re LMP but I'm calculating a 2 week difference for me! Based on LMP I'm 12 weeks but I had long cycles so reckon I'm 10 weeks. I've got my scan on Thursday so will find out for sure. I think it's quite common - the antenatal receptionist told me hold off on booking my 16 week appt until I had the scan as she said they can be massively off what has been calculated on LMP.

DartmoorDoughnut · 11/12/2018 11:39

New thread is a good idea, can we leave some spaces on this thread so I can update here tomorrow?

It’s not looking good for me, blood is now red not brown, and I’d like to have the new thread with no bad news!

MakeAWhish · 11/12/2018 11:55

Oh, @DartmoorDoughnut . I'm really keeping everything crossed for you xxx

TwinkleDay · 11/12/2018 11:58

I’m not feeling the meat eating either, peanut butter and apple is good as a snack and I’m still good on eggs.

I had my flu jab 3 weeks ago, it’s for the best

Kentishgal · 11/12/2018 12:25

Another checking in as feeling rough.

Thinking of both doughtnuts, keeping fingers crossed for positive news.

Shall I try and create a new thread now? I say try....

wombatron · 11/12/2018 12:26

Thinking of you Dartmoor still hoping it's not as sinister

wombatron · 11/12/2018 12:27

Yes @Kentishgal do a new Fred and leave space here for our doughnuts :)

Kentishgal · 11/12/2018 12:51

I hope this link works....

DianaBlythe · 11/12/2018 13:16

Oh doughnut, bless you for even thinking about a bad news free thread. Please feel free to talk to us on either thread whatever happens. Sending lots of love and wishes.

LittleChicken11 · 11/12/2018 21:42

Hi ladies, thank you to all who took time to send me lovely reassuring messages - sorry it has taken me so long to reply. @Michelle0507
@TheScaredyKat @StargazyDrifter @DrEv

I’ve caught up with the thread now and I’m so sorry for all those with losses, what a tough time. But it’s lovely to hear how other pregnancies are progressing well. Fingers crossed for all! Flowers

@SoftKitty28 @cathyj87 @SnailorSwift it’s so hard to wait for the 12-14 week scan isn’t it? I’ve booked a private scan for tomorrow. I’ll only be 7+4 so hoping we can see something, really nerve wracking though!

Good luck to both @Donoughts

DartmoorDoughnut · 12/12/2018 10:16

All a bit confusing at the moment, sac seen but no baby which would suggest earlier I.e 5 weeks, not sure if this is possible or if baby didn’t take. Have had bloods taken and they should be back late this afternoon/early evening to see HCG levels. Dependent on what they show will either be more bloods on Friday and then if bleeding doesn’t continue/progress I guess another scan in a week or two.

Kentishgal · 12/12/2018 10:33

I'm sorry to hear that dartmoordoughnut - was that an internal scan? How far along did you think you were?

Laburna · 12/12/2018 11:29

@dartmoordoughnut sorry you've ended up in limbo. Fingers crossed for the bloods later today.

DartmoorDoughnut · 12/12/2018 11:59

Yes internal scan which annoyingly seems to have irritated things and caused bleeding to ramp up Sad keeping fingers crossed but think it’s probably bad news

BirthdayKake · 12/12/2018 12:03

I'm thinking of you DartmoorDoughnut. It really is a shitty thing to be in limbo xx

ReginaPhalange89 · 12/12/2018 12:09

I've just called and brought my private scan forward to tonight ! I'm too impatient, I had it booked for the 23rd and was just thinking if its bad news it's going to make Christmas awful . So I'd rather know now than wait til 2 days before !

wombatron · 12/12/2018 13:10

Thinking of you @DartmoorDoughnut, and fingers crossed it's good news and things are just small. Come back to us even if it's on the new thread xx

DartmoorDoughnut · 12/12/2018 15:12

Bleeding and contraction type pains ramped up, just missed a call from withheld number which was probably blood results, ironically was on the loo wiping up Armageddon 🙄 Sorry if I’m coming across as blasé, it’s how I deal with shitty things.

Sending lots of good thoughts to you and your bumps Flowers

allthegoodnamesalreadytaken · 12/12/2018 15:18

Oh @DartmoorDoughnut i'm so sorry. Still holding out hope that it will all be ok but huge hugs in the meantime Thanks

Twistering · 12/12/2018 16:22

Thinking of you @DartmoorDoughnut, another one hoping for the best xx

ReginaPhalange89 · 12/12/2018 16:23

Oh im so sorry @dartmoor, everything crossed for you !

Squ1ggle · 12/12/2018 17:17

So sorry @DartmoorDoughnut we all deal with things in our own way so don't ever feel like you have to apologise for anything here x
