Hi! Not commented since the first thread but been trying to keep up. We had our dating scan yesterday and dates got moved up to 13+2 so due 1st June. So good to see the scan after the morning sickness kicking in hard and early at 5 weeks (was totally fine until more like 8 weeks first pregnancy).

I loved pregnancy yoga in my first pregnancy so planning on doing that again and also hoping to do some aqua natal this time. Only just starting to feel a little better tho and still so tired and also having trouble sleeping/waking up in the middle of the night. Hoping the second tri energy burst will arrive soon!

MadeInCornwallx3 · 27/11/2018 20:29

@diamondbutterfly Welcome! I'm also expecting dc3 - it's going to be a mad house around here!

Planning on upping the walking soon, we have lovely coastal walks around me I'm keen to do - especially when they end with a pub lunch!

PaulHollywoodsSexGut · 27/11/2018 20:47

Scan tomorrow. Needles to say am irrationally scared even though all signs positive (if you can call vertigo and nausea positive).

Am off to bed now to listen to some really dry stuff on the World Service to try and knock myself out early x

Curlywurly3 · 27/11/2018 21:09

What. A. Day. I've driven for a total of 7 hours today to get to meetings. I already suffered with coccyx pain but now... jeez my lower back is killing. I've just walked through the door and came straight to bed!
I also haven't drank a lot today as I didn't have easy access to a toilet so now I also have a headache and feel sick. I've just downed so much water means means I'll be up a ridiculous amount of times to pee.. then I'm out the door at 7am again tomorrow. 😫😭 the roads were flippin scary too, so much aqua planing and spray.. I feel stressed!!!

Anyway, @jacquejacque I hope you've been feeling OK today and good luck tomorrow to you and @Paulhollywood and go anyone else who has scans coming up x

madamdarkin · 27/11/2018 21:14

Had NHS dating/nuchal today, measuring 12+6. All seems good. Did private scan and Harmony last week, waiting to hear if pink or blue!

Was violently sick until 16 weeks with first 2 pregnancies, this time symptoms eased at 10 weeks...different dad plus I'm a lot healthier and also 7 years older now!

@jacquejacque thinking of you xxxx

Kescilly · 27/11/2018 22:49

Good luck tomorrow jacquejacque and PaulHollywood!

Fabuluce · 28/11/2018 07:18

Good luck jacquejacque and PaulHollywood today. I'm scanning too this morning. Feeling sick with nerves 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

coastergirl · 28/11/2018 07:27

Good luck to those with scans.

I feel rubbish. Just so, so exhausted. Work was crazy yesterday and everything that could go wrong, did.

I'm 9 weeks today! Longest. Pregnancy. Ever.

Pigriver · 28/11/2018 08:25

At 10 weeks I've finally given in and taken a sick day. I'm exhausted, dh and ds have been ill with a sickness bug so I've been doing everything. I'm hoping a day off alone will help me catch my breath and battle on. I've literally had about 6 sick days in 10 years so boss was incredibly understanding and told me not to rush back. I'm a nursery teacher and have 23 3 year olds to deal with so never a quiet day. Today my plan is to eat, sleep and move as little as possible!
Good luck to all those with scan today. I still have 3 weeks to wait 😭

fee1234 · 28/11/2018 08:42

Good luck today for those with scans!

I've had the worst headache since yesterday afternoon. Went to bed at half 7 last night and it's still here this morning 😞

What's the deal with paracetamol? Would I be ok to take two tablets?

MauisLeftNipple · 28/11/2018 09:03

fee The advice for paracetamol is to take the lowest dose possible, however if you have a thumping headache I'd definitely take two.

toasterstrudle · 28/11/2018 09:20

Good luck for scans today!

Fee I keep getting headaches too, have been using paracetamol.

fee1234 · 28/11/2018 09:21

Thanks for the advice, have just taken some! There's just so much mixed information about it online.

toasterstrudle · 28/11/2018 09:21

Pigriver don't feel guilty - I'm a primary teacher and have been signed off for a fortnight! I justify it as I would be absolutely no use and would need to leave them unsupervised to go be sick, better all round if
I'm off until I can do my job properly.

Reastie · 28/11/2018 09:40

Pigriver please don’t feel bad, I know how guilty taking time off can make you feel, it just shows what a conscientious employee you are. I know it’s hard as you feel indispensable (well, I do as a teacher) but they will cope without you. I hope you don’t catch the bug from your family.

Good luck for scans today, looking forward to seeing some more scan photos.

Mw coming here tomorrow for booking in and wondering how much judgement they might have on the state of the house and whether I can muster energy to clean today.

diamondbutterfly · 28/11/2018 09:44

Good luck for those with scans today particularly @jacquejacque and @paulHollywood!

jacquejacque · 28/11/2018 09:45

Bad news for us today, no heartbeat. Devastated doesn't cover it. D&C on Monday morning, then referral to a recurrent miscarriage specialist.

Wishing you all the very best of luck on your journeys, I'll pop back and see you all when I'm feeling a little less broken. X

toasterstrudle · 28/11/2018 09:47

Oh @jacquejacque I am so sorry and so sad to hear your news. I have had two miscarriages this year and it's just devastating. Sending all my love, I'm so sorry. Look after yourself and I really hope it all works out for you soon. Thanks

MadeInCornwallx3 · 28/11/2018 09:49

@jacquejacque Oh no. I am so so sorry. I was so hoping for a different outcome for you.

Take all the time you need to take care of yourself and I hope you have so much more luck next time.

Sending massive hugs Thanks

Kescilly · 28/11/2018 09:50

I’m so sorry for your loss, jacquejacque. Take all the time you need and know that we are thinking of you.

toasterstrudle · 28/11/2018 10:00

Oh and @jacquejacque I meant to say, due to history I've been under EPU care this time round and it's been great having a direct line, someone phones me back within the day, my worries are treated sensitively and they listen to me. I've had 2 early scans and they've been happy to accommodate. It has been a horribly nerve-wracking first trimester (previous mc were at 5+2 and one a mmc picked up at 12 week scan), but having that extra support has been really beneficial to me.

I'm so sorry. X

Reastie · 28/11/2018 10:03

Oh Jacque I’m so sorry, I just don’t know what to say, life is so unfair and sucks sometimes. Be gentle on yourself and I hope you’ll come back on the thread in the future to tell us good news. Lots of hugs x

PaulHollywoodsSexGut · 28/11/2018 10:08

I’m so very very sorry @jacquejacque x

toomanyflatwhites · 28/11/2018 10:09

@jacquejacque I'm so so sorry, how absolutely devastating. Take all the time and support that you can for you and your family, sending hugs and Thanks
