Just because I think we’re getting close to filling the first one. Pull up a pew, bring your decaf tea and all of the carbs!

Looks like I couldn't manage a vomit free morning 🙊

MrsC87 · 09/11/2018 07:03

Hi can I join?
DC1 EED 20/07 (app says that as midwife appointment is 23/11/18)
Still in shock that I got my BFP earlier this week!! Still peeing on sticks to be sure 🤦‍♀️ back away from the tests! 😂

HSapr · 09/11/2018 07:03

Wow (reference to previous thread) my doctors surgery experience was nowhere near as bad as what some of you have been through, I should be thankful!!

Thanks for setting up another thread!

DC1 EDD 20/07

Still very early, have had a little bit more spotting this morning but still 2 strong lines, slightly darker than Wednesday....I didn't test yesterday, go me!!!

Have a great day all xx

Brainfried1986 · 09/11/2018 07:04

Re-posting this here from the old thread.

Need some advice ladies - yesterday I started getting a sore shoulder. It feels like it’s slightly out of place, as if I jarred it at some point (which I don’t remember doing, but I do have a toddler so I might have) and doesn’t hurt unless I move it. My instinct is that it is more to do with relaxin & ligament stretching than a sign of ectopic, but I don’t want to ignore it if it could be an indicator of something more sinister... What would you do? Call the gp to be on the safe side? Anyone with any history of this?

HSapr · 09/11/2018 07:17

Hi @Brainfried1986 I'm sorry I have no experience of this myself, however from what you've described it certainly sounds more like you pulled it, and if you have no other accompanying symptoms, you should be fine. Perhaps others with more experience can help put your mind at ease too x

@MrsC87 we have the same due date! I haven't got my MW apt until the 10/12 though?!

Laburna · 09/11/2018 07:21

I'd get check @brainfried1986 better safe than sorry. Is it on the side you normally carry DS? You could be right about the ligament stretching but do check!

Can I get a new thread going with some TMI? My digestive system has kick started itself, I'm assuming it's because of the progesterone pessaries. @frazzlerock the bloat has started this morning :( I look about 6 months pregnant! Not amused!

SnailorSwift · 09/11/2018 07:21

Morning all!

Welcome @MrsC87

@Brainfried1986 no experience of this personally but a call to the GP sounds like a good idea to put your mind at peace.

@HSapr sometimes they will do booking and first scan at same appointment. With DS I didn't see midwife till 10 weeks and had both done in the same day.

Delilah7 · 09/11/2018 07:28

Hello ladies again 😍

Squ1ggle · 09/11/2018 07:43

Hello again everyone. Sorry I haven't been posting much, doing my best to try and keep up though

ForTheLoveOfDoughnuts · 09/11/2018 07:43

Good morning ladies

Twistering · 09/11/2018 07:51

Morning! Cracked and did a Clearblue Digi just now. Pleased to see gone up to 3+ but still feel nada (although sounds like should be happy to not be at either end of spectrum in vomit/bunged up club you poor things! :)

@TwittleBee still lurking off the list for now, see how things go after scan Wed.

Thank fuckety fuck it’s Friday!

babyl0ve · 09/11/2018 07:55

Morning everyone

This thread moves fast!

I haven’t got any nausea yet but I’m only 4 weeks so I’m hoping it will set in soon. Crazy I know but it will just give me peace of mind. Had quite a bad day yesterday as I was experiencing some cramping but all seems ok now so I’m back to being happy!

Does anyone living/working in London have a baby on board badge? Just wondering how long it will take to arrive as I vaguely remember hearing that it took a while. I’ll order one today to be safe!

Delilah7 · 09/11/2018 07:57

@Twistering I'm too scared to take another test so I'm just not going to 😂😂

Laburna · 09/11/2018 08:04

I'm a poas-aholic! 😳

allthegoodnamesalreadytaken · 09/11/2018 08:12

@babyl0ve it generally tends to arrive within 10 days

Happy Friday all!

cathyj87 · 09/11/2018 08:14

@Twitterer can you add me?
DC1 EDD 08/07 :)

Twistering · 09/11/2018 08:17

@Delilah7 probably better (and less of a waste of money), I still don’t believe it anyway! 😂

TwinkleDay · 09/11/2018 08:21

Morning loose stool club 😂 x

Frazzlerock · 09/11/2018 08:37

Morning!

Hello even more new recruits! Shock

Please add yourselves to the list.

Thanks for bringing it over @TwittleBee and thank you@DianaBlythe for the new thread!

@Brainfried1986 it sounds to me like you've pulled it or relaxin is taking effect. Just keep an eye on it, I don't think a sore shoulder alone is anything to worry about.

@Twistering good news about the test, now put them away!

I cannot believe it is finally Friday and it is SCAN DAY TOMORROW! I don't know whether to be stupidly excited or terrified.

My nausea has finally set in. I was feeling sick at parents evening and for the rest of the eve, not that it stopped me eating.

This morning I thought it had disappeared and started to wonder if yesterday was a tummy upset but no. My wonderful son heated up some leftover mackeral pasta at 6am today (don't ask, he's a freak) and MAN I have never smelt anything so vile in my entire life. I felt very very ill. It normally doesn't bother me so this little person in my womb is clearly to blame!
My boobs are back to being sore again so hooray! Symptoms are back and I can relax for a day.

@babyl0ve I have a Baby on Board badge from my MMC. It took about three weeks to arrive, I remember getting quite frustrated as I was feeling awful and standing on the tube in early pregnancy when you're feeling dizzy and sick is shit. I'm so pleased I kept mine as I have been wearing mine since our BFP. I don't use the tube anymore as I moved out of London (but still work there) but I do get the train in and there is usually a seat anyway, but I still wear it just in case.

MrsC87 · 09/11/2018 08:46

@HSapr we're due date buddies 💕
I rang midwife and that's the appointment they suggested, apparently it will only be 20 mins where they do bloods.
I've woke up with bad backache and a few cramps- this has got me worrying like hell!
Thank god it's fricking Friday as @Twistering said 😆 x

cathyj87 · 09/11/2018 08:47

@frazzlerock how do we add ourselves to the list? I'm on the app on my phone and can't seem to edit anything, even my stupid phoned autocorrect from twittlebee to twitterer 😅

TwittleBee · 09/11/2018 08:47

babyl0ve Mine arrived in a couple of days. Don't expect it to mean people will give you respect. I still had to ask people to move for me, had people question if I was actually pregnant, still had people push me out the way etc.

Frazzlerock that feels like it has come round so quick?! Really hope it is all good and lovely for you

@TwittleBee that's awful! I've never experienced that in any of my pregnancies. People have always been really kind on the tube/train.
Thank you for the luck for tomorrow, I'll need it Smile

@cathyj87 it is harder on the app. You can copy but you can't paste from MN back to MN, if that makes sense?
On the iOS app I had to copy and paste it to my notes app, then copy and paste from there back into MN and then edit before I posted.

It is far easier on the web version (from a laptop or desktop), you can easily copy and paste the list.

StargazyDrifter · 09/11/2018 09:05

Thank you for the new thread Diana 😊

Brainfried On the first thread I talked about going to EPU last week in case of an ectopic - had shoulder pain, cramps, tummy pain on one side and bleeding the previous week. I also had an ectopic in June. Clean bill of health in the end and the consultant said shoulder pain alone rarely means anything and the key is one-sided persistent tummy pain. I would ring 111 if you're worried or keep an eye out for other symptoms.

babyl0ve I ordered my badge earlier in the week and it said it takes 5 working days to arrive.

TweetleBee That's horrible about people questioning whether you're pregnant! WTF?!
