Just marking my place

mindthechaos · 02/11/2018 16:59

Think I’ve missed the last few pages! Marking my place

jacquejacque · 02/11/2018 16:59

Checking in!

Littleray84 · 02/11/2018 17:00

Me too

hexagon01 · 02/11/2018 17:09

Hi all, also placemarking. Nothing to report here except my god it’s so tiring, I’m so sick of hearing myself moaning! Tiredness caused by pregnancy but also some absolutely dreadful sleep from my usually okay sleeping toddler, up at 4 three times this week 😭, plus multiple wakings. I’m still breastfeeding him but I really want to stop now before next baby comes, it’s just such an easy parenting technique ahhh.

fee1234 · 02/11/2018 17:10

Checking in. 9+1 today, 5 weeks since I started posting on these threads!

Reastiepeace · 02/11/2018 17:11

Marking place, thanks for new thread.

Pigriver · 02/11/2018 17:18

Just marking my place.

Realised today I'm booked in some out of town training in the day if my booking in appt so I've had to push it even further back (20th November!) When I'll be almost 10 weeks. I hope they manage to fit me in for a scan in time. I'm 14 weeks in Christmas Eve!

curlypasta · 02/11/2018 17:18

Yey! Thanks :) I’m here 7+1 and nauseated Grin

toasterstrudle · 02/11/2018 17:22

Thanks @pollykins151! I'm 7+3 today, first scan next Friday. Congratulations to those with successful scans already!

Kescilly · 02/11/2018 17:32

Is anyone planning on a holiday before the baby comes? I’ve just realized that we probably won’t be able to as I need to renew my visa and don’t know when I’ll get all of my documents back.

MauisLeftNipple · 02/11/2018 17:35

Place marking.

Stormwhale · 02/11/2018 17:49

Checking in. Feeling tired and a bit flat. Nausea seems to be easing off a bit, but I just feel exhausted really and it's getting me down a bit.

@toomanyflatwhites - I have had to chase my booking in appointment too. I'm 9+3 and still haven't had one arranged. I sent an email to the booking email address explaining the issue. Someone got in touch and said they were contacting my midwife again and I should hopefully hear soon. I'm lucky in that I have already received a scan date, and in the first phone call they took permission for bloods and sent the form in the post so I had them done, I just haven't seen a midwife in person.

My husband has just come home with a lovely meal from Waitrose, incl pudding. He joked that he hoped I'd be able to eat it. I feel like it's going to be the last nice meal I manage for a while.

We are down at in laws tomorrow and I hope I will be able to eat dinner. We haven't told anyone about the pg yet and are hoping to delay as long as possible, altho SIL is visiting in 2 weeks and will def sniff me out. I will be 8 weeks and from past experience the nausea really ramps up then. I just won't be able to hide it, unless cyclizine works a miracle this time.

JBCG · 02/11/2018 17:59

Checking in too - thanks @pollykins151

Pigriver · 02/11/2018 18:03

@kescilly with my first we went abroad at 28/29 weeks. I needed a fit to fly form signed by the midwife. I'm a teacher so unless I go at Easter (really limited options) I doubt it will happen. Might just do a term time Butlins in September for ds if all is well after the birth then go abroad early the following summer before I go back to work.

fee1234 · 02/11/2018 18:10

@Kescilly next month I'm going to Iceland and New York for my boyfriends 30th. I will be 16 weeks so hopefully things are okay

Kescilly · 02/11/2018 18:20

@Pigriver ah yes, that must limit your options a lot. Must be busy whenever you go on holiday too!

@fee1234 that sounds great! We thought about going back to the States to visit family, but I think I’d be too far along by the time we could go back. Sixteen weeks sounds like a good time to travel!

WeeBean · 02/11/2018 18:31

Just checking in, only one week until our private scan, day after we get back from holiday. Hopefully it'll take the post holiday blues away!

coastergirl · 02/11/2018 18:39

Hello. 7+2 today and I have a private scan tomorrow morning. Hoping it'll be ok.

Blondcat · 02/11/2018 18:41

Checking in too. Had my booking appointment with mw today. Annoying that they don't do blood test have to go to hospital for that but can just drop in anytime during the week she said they like to have the blood test done by 9 weeks ideally so got a week or so to get that sorted. She is going to try to get my 12 week scan as early as possible as I am nervous after mc in April but said she couldn't guarantee anything it was just a request. So fingers crossed less than 5 weeks to go as 7+2 today.

Blondcat · 02/11/2018 18:43

@kescilly we have booked to go to lanzarote in January for a week so will be about 17/18 weeks mw said lovely time to get a holiday in as past the first trimester and no need for fit to fly note.

stellarfox · 02/11/2018 18:56

Some of you mentioned you were having the harmony test a while back. Do you recommend it or is nhs testing sufficient?
