We are team pink 💖👶🏼
I'm full of a cold 😢 was up all night with it and actually been physically sick with it...just trying to rest but it's hard not reaching for the usual medications!

DeliberatelyGinger · 26/09/2018 18:03

I can't seem to find a comfortable bra. I'm now 38 D (from 34 C) any ideas?

Surprisedmom · 26/09/2018 18:17

@DeliberatelyGinger I had hear that a lot of pregnant women opt for sports bras as they give a lot of support and are a bit more forgiving if you change cup size. You could try out a few of those somewhere if you think you could get away with them under work clothes.

Camsie30 · 26/09/2018 18:32

@powkin and @Rowse my builders started this week, having the back of the house demolished and rebuilt, new kitchen etc. Must be insane. It's due to finish a week before the baby is due.... They've made us a temp kitchen in the spare room upstairs (aka the nursery) and my daughter thinks it's a great adventure!! 9

Alicejj8x · 26/09/2018 18:38

@DeliberatelyGinger
Asda!!!

Honestly they are so so comfy I'll see if I can find a pic

I have been using M&S soft non underwired bras which are comfy bought a packet of extenders as well so been getting more use out of them.

DeliberatelyGinger · 26/09/2018 19:00

Thanks guys. I'm wearing M&S right now but it's not doing the job. :-(

Fiep · 26/09/2018 19:15

@Bluelagoon25 aww I'm sorry to hear it! If it's any consolation I'm super coldy too. DH went to sleep in the spare room because I was coughing and rattling too much last night and I am off work with it. I miss 'day and night nurse' cold and flu tabs but telling myself I'm gonna have to put up with worse before baby arrives! Lol! Wink

Alicejj8x · 26/09/2018 19:15

Anything for throat burn 😩😩

MakeLemonade · 26/09/2018 20:38

Have you tried a bralet? I love the M&S ones, so comfy. www.marksandspencer.com/l/lingerie/bras/bralet-n-1z13qfq

@Alicejj8x - awful. Not something I'm suffering with and I'm sure you'll have tried everything but would milk help? X

Anyone else super hairy? I'm shaving my legs every day at the moment! It's craziness!! 🐻

Celebelly · 26/09/2018 20:39

Gaviscon!

Cheery1 · 26/09/2018 20:51

Totally fallen off the radar - crazy busy work (freelance so feast or famine) plus DS starting at new childminders!

We found out we’re having another boy. Eek!

Congratulations to everyone on all the lovely scan news and pictures 😍😍

Alicejj8x · 26/09/2018 20:55

@Yakadee
It's horrible 😩😩
I wish I could drink milk but I just hate it lol but it's getting to the point where I may have to hold my nose and have a few sips as the pain is sore.

Fiep · 26/09/2018 21:09

@Alicejj8x how about warm water, lemon and LOADS of honey? Good quality honey? I find it super soothing

Yakadee · 26/09/2018 21:13

@Alicejj8x - could you speak to your midwife? Maybe they could prescribe something or give you some suggestions x

Lulabell1 · 26/09/2018 21:19

@pickles i had a growth scan at 32weeks because i went into labour, they predicted she was 6lb-6.5lb which was big for 6weeks early, they stopped my labour and i didnt end up giving birth until the day i turnt 36weeks but i have another scan at 35weeks a week before and they predicted 7.2-7.7lb and she was 7.11 but ovbiously still 4 weeks early so im thinking she would of been a good 9lb baby so yes!

Rowse · 26/09/2018 21:20

I can't believe how many of us are having new kitchens or renovations whilst pregnant, it's good to know it isn't just me deciding to turn their house upside down! Hope all the works go smoothly for everyone.

@powkin we're really lucky in that the bathroom has been done just before we bought it so the kitchen is our only major investment and we are planning to be here for at least 5 years. It's so hard to justify the money if you don't know if you'll stay there. But like you say, maybe it's better to have a lovely kitchen for the time you are there. Ours should add value on to the house, although who knows what will happen to house prices after brexit.
It's so hard to find the right place to live, and like you say the dream house in a dream place doesn't really exist. I wish we could be closer to family, but we can't leave the London area as there just aren't the jobs for us.
I think it's really easy to fall into the trap of trying to get everything perfect for the babies arrival and you're right life is unpredictable and you never know what might happen next. So many parents say that you just make it work, because you have to!

Celebelly · 26/09/2018 21:20

Is your throat burning because of acid reflux? Honestly, get some Gaviscon and some Rennies. I've had heartburn and acid reflux for past couple of weeks and been guzzling both!

powkin · 26/09/2018 21:36

Just got home from dinner. Got some of the Mama Mio Lucky Legs on the cheap on eBay so I’m trying at. It doesn’t feel very cooling at all so that’s a bit disappointing! I put some on my hands too though and they do seem a little less puffy!

lanalawr · 26/09/2018 21:37

@Alicejj8x I spoke to a pharmacist last time I was pregnant and had a really sore throat. They said there wasn't much I could do but Halls soother things should be ok. They made it a bit more bearable so it may be worth talking to a pharmacist if you can get to one.

Yakadee · 26/09/2018 21:45

@Lulabell1 - I measured right on track all the way through and my boy was 9lb2! X

bubblybrit · 26/09/2018 22:40

👋 hope everyone is ok....glad I found you all as been a bit absent from the previous thread!!

Katinkak8 · 26/09/2018 22:42

Congratulations to everyone on their scans today!
