Congratulations @frankiefumbles! Brilliant news. We have missed you over here, so glad you are back. May is a lovely time for a baby (my DS is a May babe).

Funnybunnyfluff · 13/09/2018 15:31

Such a shock and heart breaking for me and DH. Just didn't except to hit 12 weeks to be told it's over.

@Funnybunnyfluff I'm so sorry to hear your news and so sorry for your loss.

Nightmanagerfan · 13/09/2018 17:00

@fluffybunnyfluff I’m so sorry. We lost a previous pregnancy and it’s heartbreaking. Sending my thoughts and hope you’ll be back on another pregnancy board soon

wordsmithereens · 13/09/2018 17:09

@funnybunnyfluff so sorry to hear this. Wishing you lots of support from those around you and all the best of luck for the future.

@frankiefumbles all the fingers crossed for more stickiness this time round!

I've been so awful at keeping up with this thread since I joined the Facebook group! Sickness has improved vastly - not on meds anymore and only veg still seems to make me feel dodgy. Was even able to manage food out in the pub the other night. Energy still lagging but getting there, doesn't help that I've developed fierce thirst at nighttime, bizarre nightmares and insomnia! Craving peach ice tea for some reason (??).

We still haven't had NT results which is starting to annoy me a bit after 3 weeks post scan.

puravida31 · 13/09/2018 17:34

@frankiefumbles that’s fantastic news!! I’m so pleased for you! I’m sending you all the sticky thoughts in the world xx

PartridgeJoan · 13/09/2018 18:01

Accidentally posted on thread 4 so here it is again:

There’s so many messages on here I’m losing track! Has anyone had back pain recently? I’m 15 weeks and got a crampy feeling in my back yesterday which has turned into full blown agony. I think it will feel better when I lie down but I’m in the middle of my two hour commute home! Feeling quite sorry for myself

PartridgeJoan · 13/09/2018 18:07

Sorry - I’ve missed about six pages of posts and am way out of date.

So sorry for your loss @funnybunnyfluff - such awful news xx

Jenlou1992 · 13/09/2018 18:42

funnybunnyfluff really really sorry to hear of your news . It's just awful and can't imagine what your going through. Xxx

Nightmanagerfan · 13/09/2018 19:35

@partridgejoan welcome back to the thread. I haven’t experienced back pain but that sounds awful - hope you’ll get some good advice soon. Would a hot water bottle on your back help? Definitely see the dr or talk to the midwife. I think the relaxin hormone loosens everything too.

PartridgeJoan · 13/09/2018 21:01

@Nightmanagerfan I’ve just found a hot water bottle and it’s amaaaazing, makes such a difference! Yeah I think it’s just hormones but will def get it checked out!

hamandpease · 13/09/2018 21:09

@frankiefumbles so happy for you! Xx

PurpleFlower1983 · 13/09/2018 21:16

I am so so sorry @Funnybunnyfluff

Kee80 · 13/09/2018 21:31

So sorry to hear this @Funnybunnyfluff stay strong xx

BadBadBeans · 14/09/2018 05:57

@Funnybunnyfluff I'm so sorry to hear your sad news. What a shock. I lost a pregnancy at 9 weeks in April that had stopped growing at 6, but I can't imagine how horrid it must be to find out when you are supposed to be hitting 12 weeks. If you want to talk about the process of miscarrying at all, do PM me. I found the miscarriage boards on here very helpful. Also the Miscarriage Association website has good information. My hospital wouldn't give me any leaflets on it at first (they thought there was an outside chance my dates were wrong - I knew they weren't) so if it weren't for the internet I would have done the whole thing 'blind', as it were. I hope you find the support you need. X

@frankiefumbles hello again and congratulations to you. I love what @ladycarlotta said about pregnancy being an exercise in daring to hope - that is exactly it, and you should absolutely allow yourself to feel excited. I'm so pleased for you! X

PurpleFlower1983 · 14/09/2018 07:06

I think I felt movement last night. I felt something like a nerve twitch about two inches below my belly button when laying on my left side in bed. When I turned over I felt a sort of pulsating/ripple a little bit further down. Does this sound like baby? I’m a first timer.

frankiefumbles · 14/09/2018 07:41

@Murphyrocks I bumped into her on the "May bus" and that's what prompted me to drop back! Thanks all! Feeling surprisingly chilled but a long way to go to catch you guys up. I'll drop back occasionally but it's tricky to catch up on all the new names!

Massive apologies to @Funnybunnyfluff - between writing and posting my news you'd put your message up and I hadn't spotted it. You poor thing. Message if you need some support (or one of these guys can direct you to me on FB). Important to talk and can be helpful to chat with someone who has been through something slightly similar, though mine was obviously earlier. You'll get through this xx

Murphyrocks · 14/09/2018 07:57

@frankiefumbles ah that makes sense - at least you already know someone then! I'm sure noone would mind if you wanted to re-join the Facebook group too, I'm admin so can do that if you'd like! Easier to keep up with that!

frankiefumbles · 14/09/2018 10:17

@Murphyrocks
YES YES YES YES!!!!!!!
Do you remember my daft surname πŸ˜‚

Murphyrocks · 14/09/2018 10:25

@frankiefumbles found you on the roll call! Request sent.

NotDoingThat · 14/09/2018 11:41

Hi Smilefirst post I'm expecting my first on 3/3!

NotDoingThat · 14/09/2018 11:42

Purple I've had the same thing the last two days, been wondering about it myself!

ladycarlotta · 14/09/2018 12:06

@purpleflower1983 how far along are you? I think I've felt similar. Bump has definitely kind of popped out these last few days. I keep meaning to check my notes to see if they noted the direction of my placenta, as that will affect how soon we feel movement.

Welcome @NotDoingThat, we're due date buddies! how are you feeling?
