@Murphyrocks well I shall store your prediction up and we will see if you were right or not in 6 months' time I just had a quick Google of nub theory and agree that the maybe-nub does look girly. Maybe! Must dig out the old scan pics of DS and see if his looks boyish!

@Murphyrocks Thank you but I think I feel like getting more expert opinions would be cheating a bit on DH's desire for it to remain a surprise! Even though I would bloody love to know!!!

@BadBadBeans sure no worries - the offer stands for anyone else too! I checked ds's too and his was definitely boyish. The current one is even more so though so I've pretty much reconciled the idea of another boy!

@Murphyrocks I just looked and I can't see a nub at all on the pics of DS - they are very blurry. Shame - I was hoping it would look obvious! Fun though to have a 'guesstimate' isn't it?!

@Murphyrocks looks a bit ambiguous to me to in my very inexpert opinion, haha! What gestation were you then, can you remember? By the way your name is on the scan pics - I know some people don't mind being identifiable but if you do you might want to ask MNHQ to remove it for you!

@BadBadBeans ah yes you make a valid point, didn't even think of that, many thanks have asked mn to remove. But yes it does look more ambiguous than the current one and gestation was exactly the same for both, 12+3.

@Marmite2018 from one torturous symptom to another! It woke me this morning I hope now I've started the cream I will sleep tonight but I'm burning more now than I have all day! Did you try the pessary? I might get one tomorrow if this doesn't start to settle 😤

Off on holiday for a few days today. The weather has just changed to rubbish and I'm so exhausted, I don't think I'm going to want to do anything.

Morning all. Was wondering if anyone could guess the gender of mine? I was exactly 12 weeks. I'm now 13+1

hello all! Sorry I've been away for a bit - partly holiday, partly life events. I've done a bad job of catching up but @toastfiend TOAST FIEND! I'm SO GLAD the scan went well. You must be so relieved.

@MurphyRocks quite inclined to take you up on the offer of seeing what the FB group thinks! I'm SO curious as to the baby's sex.

@ladycarlotta very happy to do so if you send me your scan? @Kee80 not sure there's a visible nub on yours, possible there is in which case again I'd guess girly but it may well be a leg or the cord!

@Kee80 I wouldn't have a month ago either, have become a little obsessed!

@BadBadBeans I think it's normal to just have those 2 measurements at the 12 weeks. That's all we had this time and last time. It's 20 weeks they go measurement mad!

Morning! I'm feeling like I'm getting that 2nd trimester boost. Off to do some exercise for the first time since I found out! Even thinking about doing some housework!! 14 weeks today. Hope you're all ok and have a nice day.

Is it possible I could have felt the baby move?! I'm 15+4 and was just having a lie-down with my hands on my belly, like you do. I was trying to establish if I could feel the uterus above my pubic bone - I could feel my pulse quite clearly but I also felt one little 'clonk', like a kick or a wiggle.

I'd expected to feel fluttering or tickling inside first, but it was very odd what I could feel with my hand. It felt like the sort of movement I saw on the 12-week scan.

Yes I would say it’s possible, I didn’t feel movement last time until about 24 weeks but have definitely felt something this time like an electric shock and tickling doesn’t feel like kicking just odd if that makes sense

I definitely felt like tiny rolling around 16 weeks last time, so definitely possible

I can definitely feel what I think of as stretching - ligaments or uterus or something - but this felt much more deliberate. God knows what it was. Would be lovely if it was the baby.

I am 12 weeks tomorrow.

First scan is booked in for next week.

Had some cramping this morning and now having a bit of a bleed. It's not what I would say heavy similar to the start of period. I have belly ache, cramps now nothing to bad. Have a scan booked in for tomorrow 11am

I feel stressed now.

So annoying not knowing what our bodies are doing. Luckily my day off work today so least I could make phone calls.

Feel like I need to go and keep checking myself now. Paranoid.
