Aww thanks @Angelmiracle that's so kind! I've been feeling very blobby for the last month or so of the first trimester so feeling much better in my skin now. Lots of lower belly aching though, think everything's stretching out.

VillageFete · 11/09/2018 13:38

@melissa112 Congratulations! A beautiful boy Flowers

@jenfur Gorgeous scan! Can’t wait for mine.

I’m telling work today. I’m freelance, and my manager goes on holiday this week for 2 weeks and i’ll be almost 14 weeks when she’s back. I can’t keep hiding it. My bump is noticeable.

I still feel quite icky, certain smells are knocking me sick and I seem to have gone off quite a lot of food. I can only eat what I desperately feel like at the time. I’m another one who isn’t sleeping well. Shattered all the time.

cardboard33 · 11/09/2018 13:56

@nightmanagerfan exactly! I was just like "you mean I've got to do the whole of week 7 AGAIN??" But husband couldn't see why I thought it was saying big deal. We also found out comparatively early as I have a 10-11 day luteal phase and I tested on the day my period was due. All of this means we've known since early July, so it's been a long wait!! My 12 week scan is this week so hoping we can get more excited soon.

We were offered an early scan so have already seen a heartbeat etc, I haven't had any bleeding at all and I'm still getting a lot of the expected symptoms so I think everything should be ok?

Absolutely shattered today. All I want to do is go home and sleep. Glad others here are feeling similar, even though I know that's awful to say.

Congrats to everyone who has recently had good news. And to those who haven't, if they're still reading, thinking of you.

melissa112 · 11/09/2018 14:01

@Badbadbeans that's really sad about the reason why they don't tell you the sex. I'm just happy for a healthy baby, boy or girl.

@Jenfur lovely scan pic, congratulations!

@Murphyrocks lovely baby bump! Must also start taking bump pics!

Sorry to hear that some are still suffering with nausea. I'm nearly 14 weeks and just starting to feel myself again, but there's still an underlying feeling of sickness throughout the day. Have to keep eating to keep it at bay but I'm just craving unhealthy thingsHmm

Bought a little outfit at the weekend and ended up having a look at some prams. Not looking to buy until after 20 week scan but gosh, some of the prices! I'm going to start researching soon as I feel a bit overwhelmed with the choice, car seats too!

Kee80 · 11/09/2018 14:33

@Angelmiracle I had a scan at 8+2 and was so nervous but was over the mum when I saw the heartbeat. Had my 12 week scan last Tuesday and everything looked perfect, was such a relief.
So glad your scan went well.

Sorry to hear your still having sickness. I feel fine! I was never actually sick but felt it first thing in the morning, now I'm fine. Just got sore boobs which are so bad at night 😫

AssumeItWasSomethingClever · 11/09/2018 15:13

Has anyone suffered with their symptoms getting worse? I'm 11 weeks and feel worse than I have done all pregnancy. I thought it was supposed to get better the closer to twelve weeks you get. Also, my hips have become really clicky. They literally click with every step I take and are starting to get a bit painful. Has anyone else had this?

Wineandchoccy · 11/09/2018 16:00

We are at the zoo camel poo is not a good smell for a pregnant woman, blurgh

AssumeItWasSomethingClever · 11/09/2018 16:16

Oh god, @Winenandchoccy- I can't imagine how awful that must be!

SquirtlesMumAgain · 11/09/2018 16:25

Oh no, that sounds terrible - I would run away from the smell, fast!

@AssumeItWasSomethingClever definitely symptoms haven't eased and 13 weeks tomorrow. Still being actually sick 3 or 4 times a day (at least)

Gronk27 · 11/09/2018 16:43

@assumeitwassomethingclever I think you get a hormone surge at 10/11 and then you start to feel better 13/14. I'm 14 tomorrow and feel like I'm just coming out the other side!

@nightmanagerfan thank you! Having a nice rest now. Just went mad in Lidl got everything in a medium thanks for the tip. Dredging up the energy to try it all on now!

Kee80 · 11/09/2018 17:10

@AssumeItWasSomethingClever when I got to about 11 weeks I started to feel worst than I had before. I'm 13 weeks today and started to feel a lot better from about 12+4. The only thing I've noticed is I'm a lot more achey and crampy these past few days

Angelmiracle · 11/09/2018 18:02

@Kee80 glad both scans went well for you! My boobs were really painful too they've eased a bit. I wear a stretchy gym bra from primark to bed it really helps.

@Assumeitwassomethingclever I'm 11+2 & feel totally rubbish. Now breaking out in spots to top it all off 😀

@gronk27 let me know your thoughts! I still haven’t tried on some of mine so hoping it fits!

Sjohn81 · 11/09/2018 18:10

Evening ladies, I joined a while back but had a little bleed and after a few miscarriages was a bit of a nutcase with this pregnancy so didn't feel able to join in incase anything went wrong... totally nuts I know!
I've had my 12 week scan and nipt test and glad to say things are going smoothly now so far 🀞
I was due March 3rd but my scan put me to Feb 25th but still hoping I'm welcome. I have been popping back and forth for a little catch up on occasion so hope you don't mind me rejoining now. Hope you're all well xxx

puravida31 · 11/09/2018 18:20

You are very welcome here and I’m
really pleased things are looking positive @Sjohn81

Marmite2018 · 11/09/2018 18:51

@Angelmiracle I'm on the thrush bus too!!!! It's horrible!

@Murphyrocks you're feeling movement? Oh I can't wait for that moment 😍😍.

@Jenfur lovely scan!

I'm 14 weeks and today was the first time I woke up for work and didn't throw up. AND I haven't felt THAT sick all day πŸ™ŒπŸΌ. Hoping it continues to improve and I hope you guys feel better soon too. I definitely have lots more energy though!

Welcome back @Sjohn81 so pleased to hear good news for you.

Murphyrocks · 11/09/2018 19:09

@Marmite2018 yes been feeling movement for a few weeks now but only been consistent perhaps the last weeks. Its very subtle though so could easily be mistaken for gas, only confident it's movement because I remember the same from last time and feeling it getting gradually more forceful! Great for reassurance and such a magical feeling. Most people start feeling it between 4 and 6 months though so aware I'm on the narrow end of the bell curve.

Gronk27 · 11/09/2018 19:15

@sjohn81 welcome!

@nightmanagerfan tried it all on. I'm normally a 12 and went medium, the only thing that's on the tight side is the jeans-perfect for now but won't last long. Love the PJs (wish I'd got two pairs), sports bra and work out gear. Also got a dress, leggings, tights. I tried on the PJs last and haven't taken them off yet Grin

Sictransitgloria · 11/09/2018 19:43

@assumeitwassomethingclever omg yes. Last week, I had to have Thursday off (turned 11weeks) as the nausea and general feeling of crap was too much to bear. It ramped up massively after a few days of not being too bad. Dry retching bad. Touch wood, over the weekend it subsided and I’m feeling much better although not 100%. Hope you feel better soon :)

I feel like all I do is moan. I have a banging headache, can’t use my phone much cos it makes it worse and a very small appetite. Not a bad thing tbh though, have a high bmi and have lost 8lbs since finding out. Plus not having the horrible nausea is really amazing!

Lovely to see everyones scans and how exciting finding out the sex. I have mine next week at 12+5, my early scan at 6 weeks put me back a week but hope baby has caught up and they can do nuchal etc. Probably wishful thinking! All I hope is there is a healthy baby in there. It is so surreal.

BadBadBeans · 11/09/2018 20:18

@Wineandchoccy oh dear, I hope you escaped the odour de camel! Made me chuckle at least!

Had my scan this afternoon and everything looked lovely. Amazingly clear - could see its little fist with its thumb sticking out. I had to do a bit of a hip wiggle to get it to face the right way to begin with! The nuchal fold was smaller than with DS so that combined with the Harmony results makes me feel reassured. It was very brief though- she only took the nuchal measurement and then one measurement of the baby head to rump. In the past I remember them taking more than that - I wondered whether she was a bit pushed for time. Anyway the baby is measuring 12+6 Which puts me 3 days ahead with a new due date of 20th March.

Murphyrocks · 11/09/2018 20:36

@BadBadBeans congratulations! Lovely scan and so pleased all looks well. May I venture a gender nub guess or would you rather not?

BadBadBeans · 11/09/2018 20:40

Oooo @Murphyrocks please do! I thought of that in the scan actually but had no idea what I was looking for!

Murphyrocks · 11/09/2018 20:44

@BadBadBeans I'm certainly no expert but if what I'm seeing is indeed a nub it looks rather girly to me! It's slightly less accurate with a girl as they pretty much all start with a girly looking one then it 'rises' if it's a boy, but that's my best guess 😁

Murphyrocks · 11/09/2018 20:46

I'm happy to post your scan pic on the nub Facebook page I'm on if you'd like some more expert opinions @BadBadBeans?
