Thanks ladies wouldn't mind a kilner jug could take a run to Sainsbury's this week! And could do mocktails for the girls on arrival haha. @shampooeeee the favourite book is a lovely idea 😊 and might send when baby arrives as not sure how much room in luggage she will have.

@Wineandchoccy - maybe they would join when we begin thread #4 ? I have their list too could easily merge it altogether if they wanted!

@toastfiend I'm surprised they won't rescan you. That's frustrating. Shame you can't get the NHS type test done privately rather than having to fork out for the harmony if you don't want to. Gorgeous scan pic though! Congratulations on your bouncy baby!

@Clairemcd13 hmmm that does sound rubbish. I would ring up and try to get a scan for 12 weeks.

I missed a call from someone I assume was the midwife yesterday who told my family member she would ring back but never did. I chased today and she won't be back in the office till next Monday when I'll be 9.5 weeks. I still don't have a booking in date! Thank goodness I'm having the Harmony done or I would be starting to get v twitchy about whether they are actually going to manage to get me in for a scan on time!

Does anyone else have super human smell since becoming pregnant? Everything/one stinks, I can’t stand it!

@clairemcd I’d only ask for another if you want the NF measurement risk percentage thingie. If not, then no, I’d just wait until 20 weeks.

Just found a picture of a book that was at the midwife's office at my booking in - I'd forgotten about it!

@buffalogiraffe yes! My sense of smell has gone crazy. I keep having to move on the tube as it feels like everyone has bad breath/BO or overly pungent perfume. Also I keep telling poor DH he smells.... maybe he doesn’t (as he doesn’t usually)...

We will need a new thread pretty soon...

@Badbadbeans, that’s frustrating. When is your Harmony? Don’t worry, I think the NF scan can be done right up until 14 weeks if I’m remembering correctly, so you won’t miss out.

@Hidcat Maybe you could photograph a couple of pages each MW visit?

@nightmanagerfan @buffalogiraffe super sense of smell was my first symptom, even before I got a BFP. I was at the swimming pool at about 3+4 and the perfume on the women in the next lane was overpowering. I couldn't understand how someone could smell so potent while entirely submerged. It's been pretty strong ever since - I ask weird questions like 'am I near a banana?' and yes, have accused DP of being stinky. Poor man.

I too have a super sense of smell, I feel like it’s stronger with this pregnancy. I had to clean the whole fridge out yesterday as it suddenly became rancid, DH couldn’t smell anything so not sure 🤷🏼‍♀️ Everything smells awful and it sets off my sicky feeling!! 🤢

Hi everyone! Been away for a few days and then its taken almost as long to catch up on this thread!
Please can I be added to the list? Due 21/03/2019 and already have a DS aged 2.

I'm with everyone on the sense of smell - I think its getting a bit better but I spent the last few weeks doing things like walking into the kitchen and retching because I can smell the (completely closed and not usually smelly) bin. And don't get me started if a bin lorry drives past.

Having a few days away was probably not a great idea but had been booked long before pregnancy. It was hard going just getting out of bed some days and forcing myself to choose something to eat from a menu. I think it might have done me some good though to be forced to eat at set times.

@Nightmanagerfan My OH had some cereal this morning then turned to talk to me. His breath literally made me gag. I think the milk had slightly turned 😂 I still haven't managed to shift the scent from my nose! It's not just your OH that's going to develop a complex! 😂

Hi guys

Just thought I would share my achievement . I did the national three peaks challenge starting yesterday . I sat out on Snowdon due to being really sick and injured knee plus I had put my body through enough and needed to ensure safety for the baby . I'm very proud of myself but it's safe to say I will be laid up for a few days .
