@hayleyfx you are an inspiration. Definitely only do what's right for you and follow your heart. Thanks for keeping us updated on your journey or we would all be wondering how you were. Thanks

AliceRR · 31/07/2018 11:58

Craftymum01 I reached 12w yesterday and that’s how I felt. 12w is a bit of a milestone and the point when you expect to be able to get really excited but I am waiting for my scan for reassurance that hopefully everything is ok. Mine is end of next week though! I’ve probably mentioned that 😆

@babybeany absolutely agree every week feels like i milestone where risk lowers and I like to look up how baby is developing and what size baby is each week.

@hayleyfx you are doing so well in what must be such a difficult situation.

Baby160P · 31/07/2018 13:00

At work they've just spray fly spray, will the do the baby harm? They don't know 😩😩

jeanzbeanz · 31/07/2018 14:39

@Baby160P I'm sure I've read somewhere that fly spray is quite safe!

I've started being really sick again the last couple of days 😭 I have got a telephone Dr's appointment tomorrow, really hope they will prescribe me something else.

Leonora94 · 31/07/2018 15:21

All looking good in there but I’m earlier than everyone thought 10.5 so get to go back again in two weeks time 😊

@Leonora94. What a lovely scan picture. Glad that everything is looking good 🙂

craftymum01 · 31/07/2018 15:41

Lovely picture @Leonora94

Baby160P · 31/07/2018 15:49

Lovely pic! Xx

Baby160P · 31/07/2018 15:50

I called the midwife at hospital and she said it'll be fine but may get my lungs xx

powkin · 31/07/2018 15:51

@maxiflump1 thanks for your reassurance. It is feeling a bit better today, I went for a swim to try and give everything a good stretch out although I struggle with heaving when swimming (something about the breathing I think!).

I get so many weird pains, and when I need the bathroom it gets so painful. I had that before my pregnancy but I’m panicking about how much worse it might get as everything gets squished! Also starting to wonder if I’m having twins as seem to be getting some symptoms a bit early, like the stretching!

My horrible extreme nausea/hunger feeling has come back. I feel normal for much longer periods but the nausea and heaving is also more intense when I get it.

I have an obstetrician appointment at 12 weeks but scan not until 13, getting impatient now! Mine will be one of the last scan pics on here!

Babybeany · 31/07/2018 16:10

@Leonora94 lovely scan piccy! And you get to have another one in a couple of weeks!! You lucky sausage! X

DragonFlew · 31/07/2018 17:24

@powkin what date is your scan? My booking appt isn't even until tomorrow! My current edd is 24th Feb! I'm definitely going to be last 😞

Notquiteagandt · 31/07/2018 17:28

@Leonora94 how lovely. So clear also
I am 10w5 so its heart warming for me to see how they look today.

Has anyone been perscribed baby asprin to take? If you have did you get given disolvible ones? (Not sure if this is standard practise is all!)

But theres no way Im physically going to be able to take them with hyperemesis. 🤢 I can barely sip water as it is....

AliceRR · 31/07/2018 17:32

@powkin @dragonflew my edd is 12 Feb and I have booking in and scan on 10 August so feels quite late.

And I am worrying so much about something being wrong. Have no reason to think there is a problem except the stories of MMC and other issues highlighted at first scan. I need the reassurance sooner rather than later 🙄

welshweasel · 31/07/2018 17:33

I’m on aspirin and yes they are dissolvable but I don’t bother and just swallow whole with water.

MrsY87 · 31/07/2018 17:34

@Notquiteagandt I took baby aspirin in my last pregnancy (75mg if I remember correctly) I just bought tablets I swallowed whole over the counter in boots. That might be easier for you than having to drink a dissolved one?!

@Leonora94 lovely scan pic and great you get to see baby again in a few weeks!

Mine was moved back from today following my scan at the epu last week so it's now 9th Aug, hopefully it will be here in no time! Looking forward to seeing the babies again!

Over my stomach bug & back to just feeling nauseous! On the plus side I wasn't sick this morning for the first time in weeks!

twiglet · 31/07/2018 17:53

I was starting to feel more normal but think I was being lulled into a false sense of security back to heaving, occasional vomit (mostly from heaving so hard) tiredness and headaches.
Plus side I officially told work so I no longer have to pretend altho one colleague said I'm a great actress as they would never have guessed. Not sure how I feel and look terrible!

Notquiteagandt · 31/07/2018 17:59

@MrsY87 ahh thanks I will check boots.i did say to midwife I felt awfully silly/money wasting getting a perscription for asprin. But she said that dose was perscription only and I wouldnt find it to buy.

Seems silly really doesnt it...as sure its a super common dose.

powkin · 31/07/2018 18:05

@DragonFlew @AliceRR my scan is on the 20th and my EDD is 25th Feb! I have a feeling my EDD might move a little bit earlier but we shall see! As long as I’m not bumped into March 😂

craftymum01 · 31/07/2018 18:09

@Notquiteagandt I am on asprin too (75mg) and have been given dissoluble ones. My Dr said it was because they were cheaper for the NHS. I think I will buy over the counter tablets as the thought makes me gag too!

Baby160P · 31/07/2018 18:57

Our scan is 14th Aug and EDD 23rd Feb, a few end of Feb babies 😍

DragonFlew · 31/07/2018 19:07

I was hoping to get a scan date at my appt tomorrow but I think they send a letter out. So will have to wait even longer 😞 I'm soooo impatient!

DragonFlew · 31/07/2018 19:07

We've also nearly filled up yet another thread! And most of us aren't our of the 1st trimester 😂

Baby160P · 31/07/2018 19:26

@DragonFlew ours came a couple of days before the scan so it won't be long

Baby160P · 31/07/2018 19:26

@DragonFlew not scan appointment!!
