Hello all! I got my BFP this morning at 10dpo and am apparently due 1st March with my third baby. Now feeling that familiar paranoia about what might go wrong, but hopeful all will be well. Is anyone else due in March yet? 😬

@RedRobin7 thoughts are with you lovely. Really hope Wednesday doesn't confirm the worst for you.

Big hugs x

Bozley47 · 09/07/2018 21:42

Oh @RedRobin7 so sorry to hear things aren't settling down. Take some time off work to rest and relax, and I do hope Wednesday brings some good news xx

Murphyrocks · 09/07/2018 21:43

So sorry @RedRobin7. Thinking of you xx

frankiefumbles · 09/07/2018 21:48

@RedRobin7 so sorry to hear it. Thoughts with you. Still keeping fingers crossed for you

@Bozley47 sorry to hear your news isn't sounding positive.

@ladycarlotta i hope you don't end up moping in hotels. It's worth checking things out before you go because otherwise you just won't be able to settle.

I've also booked in a scan for this week. The Dr I was going to have my scan with is on leave next week and so he suggested I come in before he goes on leave. I explained that I thought I was only 6+2 today and that I'm not 100pc sure on last period or ovulation date but he seemed to think he'd be able to see something. Or maybe he was just keen to have my money...eek.

Girls, when you measured your last period...mine never really settled down from last time and the periods were very strange. I had two days of light spotting and then two days of genuine period and that was it. Does the LMP start on the day of the spotting or the day of the....flow?

@frankiefumbles I have replied 😊

orangekitkat13 · 09/07/2018 22:01

@frankiefumbles I got an email to say I had a message but nothing in my inbox, very odd! I've tried to send you a message.

frankiefumbles · 09/07/2018 22:20

Hard to tell. And it's so long ago I can't truly remember the nitty gritty. I'm sure eventually all will become clear. It's hard not to be impatient.

All requests sorted 👍 time for kip now I think!

peonylover22 · 09/07/2018 22:30

Very sorry to hear that @RedRobin7
@ladycarlotta , @frankiefumbles I hope your scans go well this week. @Bozley47 I’m really hoping that yours was just too early to see anything. I’ve heard anecdotally about huge variances between what can be seen at early scans.
Goatlady that’s brilliant news, really pleased for you.

Goatlady5812 · 09/07/2018 22:45

Thank you all so much for your lovely words! @bozely47- I am keeping everything super crossed for you. When do you go back?

pushit · 09/07/2018 22:56

Sorry to hear everyone who's having scares and bad news. It's so hard and totally sucks. I really hope all is okay xx

Shampooeeee · 10/07/2018 06:49

So sorry to hear that @RedRobin7 will keep hoping for you.
@ladycarlotta I hope your scan is reassuring on Friday and you can enjoy your hotel stays.
Excellent news Goatlady5812, you must be so relieved.
I hope your scan was just too early Bozley47.
Early pregnancy is so hard. Such a rollercoaster of emotions and symptoms. It really brings out the feminist in me, wanting to get some recognition of what we go through for our biology.
frankiefumbles I did laugh at your ferry story, sorry. My dream world and your reality seem to be linked! I hope you have a less stressful journey today. Good luck for your scan. If he can’t see anything then he should invite you back for another at a later date.

HidCat · 10/07/2018 06:50

@Goatlady5812 so glad the scan went well.

@welshsoph I use an online calculator as it will allow me to adjust my cycle. The midwife has given me a different date but they assumed 28day cycle and didn't adjust. With my son they were a whole week out and at my dating scan my due date was the one I'd got online so I'm using that this time around.

@ladycarlotta I'm sure all is ok but glad you're getting to epu for reassurance.

@Bozley47 Good luck!

@RedRobin7 I'm so sorry my lovely. Definitely take some time off, allow as much time as you can. 🐧🐧

Goatlady5812 · 10/07/2018 07:25

@redrobin I have only just seen this. I am desperately sorry to read this and am keeping everything crossed for you for tomorrow. As the others have said take as much time as you need. Sending you so much love x

Goatlady5812 · 10/07/2018 07:26

@ladycarlotta sending you lots of luck too. I can’t keep up with all these posts! X

HidCat · 10/07/2018 08:09

@frankiefumbles I've just PMed you with my details for the FB group. Hope it goes to the right person!

peonylover22 · 10/07/2018 08:32

Morning all. Just checking that everyone knows about the frozen food product recall due to listeria? link here Lots of different products and supermarkets are affected, so we’re going to have a freezer audit and start anew.

hamandpease · 10/07/2018 08:37

Pot noodle for breakfast. Yay or nay?

Thought of anything else is making me gag 🤢

SuperSharpShooter82 · 10/07/2018 08:39

Do it @hamandpease, I've just got another bacon roll

@RedRobin7 and @Bozley47 I'm so sorry to hear you're both going through this. I am hoping for both of you xxx

Shampooeeee · 10/07/2018 08:40

Needs must hamandpease! I am totally off food in the morning but DS demanded alphabetti spaghetti today (after his muesli and yoghurt!) and I managed a few letters!

ladycarlotta · 10/07/2018 08:48

@hamandpease do what you've gotta do! Weirdly, the idea of toast and marmite - which has been my 'safe' breakfast lately - turned my stomach today, and I had granola which was just about OK. Bacon roll sounds blissful though @supersharpshooter82

@peonylover22 thanks for the reminder! That listeria thing absolutely freaks me out. I think we are safe - we have bags of just Sainsburys sweetcorn and peas (separate, not mixed) - but I'm kind of inclined to just chuck the lot and start again. I don't know if that's overkill.

hamandpease · 10/07/2018 08:50

Just catching up with the thread

Big hugs @RedRobin7 and @Bozley47 sounds like to both have a good chance it will be ok, big FX for you xxx

ladycarlotta · 10/07/2018 08:59

thanks everybody for your good wishes. I think they are concerned that because of the pain my pregnancy might be ectopic, but to be honest I don't think the symptoms match; the GP did also note that if I've experienced that pain since 3-4 weeks, when the baby would have fitted comfortably in the fallopian tube, it's probably not ectopic. I'm relieved to get to check though. I think if nothing changes I'll hold off until Friday. I'd rather DP was there, and it'll be good for him I think to see the baby and have it feel more concrete.

@bozley47 really really hoping your scan was just early, and baby's getting on with things in its own time. Fingers crossed for you on Friday.

@FrankieFumbles hope the scan goes well! at 6+ you've got a good chance of seeing a heartbeat I think? That'll be nice.

@RedRobin7, I'm so sorry. Give yourself loads of time and kindness. I hope it works out though.

ladycarlotta · 10/07/2018 09:01

and ha @velcro88, my job is like an iceberg! 10% above the water is glamourous, the other 90 is decidedly not.

...I think that's me all caught up on this thread now?
