Hello all! I got my BFP this morning at 10dpo and am apparently due 1st March with my third baby. Now feeling that familiar paranoia about what might go wrong, but hopeful all will be well. Is anyone else due in March yet? 😬

FACEBOOK GROUP

For our newbies, we have a little Facebook group ready for as and when you want to join. Much of the conversation is still on here but the Facebook page is slightly easier to keep track of messages than on here.

If you would like to join us (and I appreciate it will seem very early for some of you and you don't want to jinx anything) then one of the FB admins can add you. If you tag me, @RedRobin7 Or @Sarahandduckarehigh on here to say you'd like to join, we will message you to send over real name/Facebook details and have to send a FB friend request through to add you to the secret page (ie it's hidden and you can only get on it by request) and we will then delete you as a friend.

Hi all... had my scan today.... a nice little teeny bean with a flickering heart. I am over the moon! Only 5w 3days so that probably explains why the first couple were so traumatic!!! Thanks muchly for all the support xxxx

welshsoph I calculate from lmp as that is what midwife will calculate from even if you have long or short cycles. When you have the dating scan it may get recalculated

@goatlady5812 that’s wonderful news. We had an early scan last Friday as I’ve had a lot of pain way more than I remember having with my daughter. Yolk sac amniotic sac visible but irregular looking and possibly a small embryo but no heart beat. Sac measuring 5+5 then which is the minimum I could be pregnant. Have another scan this Friday to check if baby has grown/heartbeat visible as when I was scanned at 5+2 with my daughter her heartbeat was really obvious.
We are keeping everything crossed it was just too early to see. Such a nerve wracking time.

@welshsoph yes my EDD is 7th March based on ovulation date because I was tracking, if I hadn't been tracking it would have been 3rd March based on LMP I think as I have a very short luteal phase (time between ovulation and period). LMP is the best measurement we have if you don't know the date of conception but it's based on an average so could be a little early or late dependent on your cycle. I'm quite firm about mine this time as with DS I was late and they were pushing for induction, but actually I think my true due date was probably a few days later the one I had based on lmp.

welcome @lilyblue5 and anyone I've missed! If you're 5 weeks you might be due later than 5th - I'm 6w 3d and due I think the 2nd of March. But I'm not great at working this stuff out.

@orangekitkat13 and @velcro88 yup I've been tooting away. I farted really loudly in what I thought was an empty street the other day, but there was a man walking some distance behind me and I felt compelled to act like I didn't know where the noise came from.

@goatlady woohoo! congratulations on bagging first heartbeat!

I went to the GP today after I had another spell of horrible cramps but no bleeding, and she's given me a referral to the walk-in EPU for a scan, I think mostly because she felt sorry for me. I'd prefer to go tomorrow but DP can't get any time off til Fri and I'd much rather go with him (also my last visit to an EPU was alone and absolutely horrific, and I worry I'll be a bit 'triggered'), so I'm still deciding whether to wait. I think if there's no spotting there's technically no urgency. I'm due to head off on an extended work trip on Saturday though, so fingers crossed I see a heartbeat or it's going to be a spectacularly sad week moping in hotels.

@Bozley47 Wishing you a healthy scan on Friday, that's ever so stressful. Hope you're doing ok. Will be thinking of you. X

@ladycarlotta Thanks lovely. Pretty sure I'm out as now had lots of clotting. Will wait for Wednesday to confirm. Going to be drowning my sorrows and will get signed off to take some time out. Last time I went back too quickly.

Good luck at the EPU on Friday. I wouldn't want to go without my DH either.

@ladycarlotta if you can bear to wait I'd say go with DP on Friday- whatever happens you'll want him there! Fingers crossed it's all normal and you bag another March heartbeat. Sounds like you've a very glamorous job that's taking you all over - hope you're coping ok in these tiring early weeks!
