Hello all! I got my BFP this morning at 10dpo and am apparently due 1st March with my third baby. Now feeling that familiar paranoia about what might go wrong, but hopeful all will be well. Is anyone else due in March yet? 😬

Hi @crazyhorseylady welcome and congratulations! Smile

RedRobin7 · 09/07/2018 13:09

@thefirsttimer It's pretty useless really. Only open Mon - Fri 8:30am - 12:30pm so by the time I got my dr to call them they said they had no slots available for tomorrow. Dr said I can go to A&E if it gets worse but I know that A&E can't do anything for you and just send you to EPU when it's open!

orangekitkat13 · 09/07/2018 13:10

@RedRobin7 I'm sorry to hear that. Fingers crossed for you, don't lose hope just yet.

RachaelT · 09/07/2018 13:14

@SuperSharpShooter82 your description of the nausea is uncanny for how mines been! Got a stash of ginger biscuits on the top shelf of the cupboard at work (useful being 6 foot) as I work in retail and can't nibble as often as I'd like - I hope my colleagues don't take a shine to them as usually biscuits are fair game!

@Murphyrocks - you left me out of the Yorkshire squad! I guess that might be because I never did a complete bio thing (ooops! 🤭) so here it is:

Age: 37 (will be 38 when MiniT comes along) - am I the oldest here?
DC: 1st - had an elective abortion some 15 years ago as BFP coincided with when I started university
Location: Kirklees, West Yorkshire
EDD: 1st March
AOB: was starting process for infertility checks when got BFP and they discovered Lumpy on USS as well as early pregnancy, being referred to Obs/Gyn to find out what it is.

SuperSharpShooter82 · 09/07/2018 13:18

@RachaelT that's good! I sometimes feel like I am imagining it, its not like actual throwing up, so its good to know others feel the same! I definitely feel like I am eating all the time to combat it!

Murphyrocks · 09/07/2018 13:20

Sorry RachelT, didn't mean to leave you out, not sure if I knew your location or not but I do now! Whereabouts are you in Kirklees? My DSS's other home is in Huddersfield.

I think @Wineandchoccy is also 37 and @sejohn turning 37 shortly? Exciting that you got your bfp before fertility checks, I've heard that on several occasions! Hope lumpy isn't anything sinister or contra-indicative to mini T.

Velcro88 · 09/07/2018 13:21

@RedRobin7 so sorry you're going through this stress, have my fingers firmly crossed and wishing you well.

Velcro88 · 09/07/2018 13:25

@SuperSharpShooter82 I'm exactly the same - eating carbs as a cure! My diet has not been this unbalanced since I was a student.... Sorry blueberry!

RachaelT · 09/07/2018 13:26

Thanks @Murphyrocks

We're just down the road from Huddersfield in Mirfield! Really should be referred to Pinderfields but have requested Calderdale (partly because it's a better hospital and partly as Pinderfields holds sad memories - my mum passed away there a little under a year ago)

Hoping that Lumpy and MiniT can get along just fine until March at least!

Wineandchoccy · 09/07/2018 13:38

Aye I’m an old bird as well Grin I will be 37 turn 38 a month later. DH is 40 in April I promised him a trip to Barcelona looks like he is getting a baby for a present instead Wink
And I’m just over the border in Lancashire not to fat from Skipton

SuperSharpShooter82 · 09/07/2018 13:42

@Velcro88 I wouldn't worry too much! I think our blueberries (actually Glow says I am a chocolate chip at 6+3) will be fine despite our bad eating habits! I remember being the same last pregnancy and then by the second trimester I felt better and actually craved fruit, in particular strawberries! It feels a bit like I am hungover right now though so I am sticking with cheese, carbs and bacon sarnies! Wink

Murphyrocks · 09/07/2018 14:42

@crazyhorselady don't worry we all do it! We've also started a private Facebook group where things are at least editable! Congrats to you and @kellyhar on your bfps and welcome to the group.

So sorry to hear that @RedRobin7, is it a lot or still just spotting?

Sorry to hear about the nausea too @thefirsttimer and @SuperSharpShooter82, mine's definitely getting worse but no actually throwing up yet. I am getting some of the same issues as @HidCat though - glamorous times!

hamandpease · 09/07/2018 14:50

There are a lot of Leeds ladies! I wonder how near to each other we really are .. Wink

Murphyrocks · 09/07/2018 15:08

@hamandpease I'm LS16, between Far Headingley and Meanwood 😁

Anyday88 · 09/07/2018 15:11

Hi All,

I didn't do my bio so will do it now:

I am 30 and will be about to turn 31 when this ones makes their appearance

DC1 age 3 DC2 18 Months, I had an early mc in April so trying my best to stay positive 😊

EDD 17th March

I am originally from Doncaster and still spend lots of my time there as that's where all of our family is, we are currently living in Shrewsbury.

@RedRobin7 I have everything crossed for you that all turns out ok, it does seem a fairly pointless EPU if it closes at lunchtime everyday!

@frankiefumbles Hope you have a stress free rest of your journey home.

lilyblue5 · 09/07/2018 15:20

Meee please! As of this mornings shock test, 5 weeks with baby no 3! Excited and very nervous, was very much unplanned! Due around March 5th if I’ve worked it out correctly...
congratulations to all of us!! X x

orangekitkat13 · 09/07/2018 17:00

I apologise if this is TMI but is anyone else struggling with pretty painful consolation and gas? Gross I know!!
I keep getting really painful cramps on and off which ease once I've been to the toilet. It's driving me mad as mostly get it in the middle of the night!

Velcro88 · 09/07/2018 17:15

@orangekitkat13 yes! My DH was away all last week and I was happily parping all night, now he's back I don't feel I can do so with quite the same gay abandon, and I can really feel it! As for - ahem - movements, (apols tmi) I'm going from feeling blocked up to everything being a bit loose! I didn't know this was going to be part of the deal. I wonder if it's also because I'm going for more carb heavy foods...?

Sorry guys if that's not what you signed up to hear about...

orangekitkat13 · 09/07/2018 17:40

@Velcro88 thanks god it's not just me!! 😂 it's grim isn't it!

Velcro88 · 09/07/2018 17:53

Very!!

Welcome and congrats @lilyblue5, hope that hasn't put you off joining!

Sarahandduckarehigh · 09/07/2018 17:54

@RedRobin7 I'm so sorry to hear you're having this stress. I have my fingers crossed that all is well and you get clarity soon. Any chance you could get in tomorrow if there is a cancellation? I've never heard of an EPU with such restrictive hours!

@goatlady were you due a scam today? Hope it went well

Hello to everyone else. I slept like crap last night and had to deal with various crises at work and am about ready to drop into a sweaty pile and sleep. Still on the (slow and delayed) train home.

I got my booking appointment through though - 9th August so I'll be nearly 10 weeks.

Hermagsjesty · 09/07/2018 18:02

I’ve had really intense sickness the past few days and then today I feel absolutely fine except for some mild stomach pain. Trying not to feel panicky about it! It’s very stressful - when you feel sick, you just want it to stop and as soon as it does stop you’re a paranoid wreck!

Velcro88 · 09/07/2018 18:02

Feeling for you @Sarahandduckarehigh. I was able to work from home today which has been a relief, sorry you've had such a full on day and now a slow and delayed, no doubt hot, train journey home. Almost there! That's exciting that you have your appointment though. In my area they seem to see groups en masse at the first appointment and then I have my formal booking in one at around 10-12 weeks. I've got the group appointment on Friday which I think will be pretty dull (have this leaflet, take these, don't eat that, do this, don't do that...), except they will book my scan apparently which I'm obviously eager for! Do they book your scan at your appointment or before?

Sarahandduckarehigh · 09/07/2018 18:24

@velcro88 they book your scan at the booking in appointment here - which feels too late! But they have direct access to the hospital booking system I think, so can slot you in quickly to meet the important 11-13 weeks window.

frankiefumbles · 09/07/2018 18:49

@Velcro88 something a bit dodge about farting with gay abandon 😂 (Im surely not the only one to think this? I wouldn't like a group appointment! Jeez. Buck up NHS! 😂

Good to see all the booking appointments coming in
