Hello everyone - well - I didn't find a need for my E111 card, no prem labours here! But if anyone knows a good divorce lawyer I might find that useful!

We made to Le Mans and back, despite pouring rain, and cramped cars (being kicked alternately in the back by the 2yr old, and the stmach by the LO!!)

Good food, nice wine, plenty of attention from the hotelier which was lovely - coz I don't get it from anyone else - and the boy was a dream bless him. First time away from home since being out of nappies an not ONE accident - even braving dodgy French loos ("I too big, I not fall down there")

As for sleep - I think it is yet anohter bit of natures nasty tricks to get us used to being sleep deprived after LO is born - I often wake up shouting in pain after rolling onti my right side in my sleep -my hips pain kicks in and then can't sleep at all. HOWEVER - it did go within about 24hrs of DS being born which was such bliss, as I could only slep onmy left side for v short periods -and when you sleep on the left of the bed as well, thats not good for snuggling a newborn - I was convinced he'd roll out of bed!
