Aw bless you I am not even due until Tuesday so I can’t really moan that much! Am being induced then if nothing happens as baby is big and my boys are already ruined! Having a few tightenings but not sure if BH or not x

Lali1 · 21/06/2018 20:59

@Shutupanddance1 oh, must be tough for you, finger crossed baby moves before Sunday.
I'm about same as @Cookie1831...due on Wed and scheduled for induction on the day.
I think I'm a bit afraid of the birth and not really eager to have it much before Blush.

jadeward89 · 21/06/2018 21:04

@shutupanddance and @cookie1831 hope your babies arrive before your section and induction dates. Hope you are both ok otherwise.
Drs have put me back on antidepressants/anti-anxiety tablets because I just couldn’t shift feeling trapped in my head. My big three have been amazing considering have crappy I have been so I’m so grateful to them and hubby too as he’s taken my mood hands on as he always has done, I don’t know where I found him but he’s amazing (until he snores and then I want to smother him).
Hope everyone is ok and babies are doing well 😊

Dinosauratemydaffodils · 22/06/2018 14:22

@cookie1831, @shutupanddance and @Lali1 Hope those babies get moving asap.

@jadeward89 I'm seeing my long suffering psychiatrist on Tuesday. Not sure if I need anti-depressants or not. Not feeling great though, it's like all the high of her arrival has vanished and I'm just sinking. Not helped by the fact that dh is back at work and we live almost at sea level, with ds's preschool and everything else up on top of the cliffs so I feel really isolated.

Cookie1831 · 22/06/2018 21:24

Baby boy Dillon Pádraig arrived at 0033 this morning for anyone not on Facebook group, very fast and intense (read painful 😂) but he is a wee dote and perfect x

Lali1 · 22/06/2018 21:46

Wow@Cookie1831, big congratulations, what a surprise! Flowers Hope you are feeling better now!

HoneyBee03 · 22/06/2018 22:04

Congrats Cookie!! Was just reading about your induction plans and then, bam, baby arrived. I hope you're recovering okay!

I'm due on Thursday but I feel too fine and full of energy to go into labour anytime soon. I've got loads on this weekend too, including tickets to a big outdoor concert, so fingers crossed the babe stays tucked up in there for at least a few more days!

ElizabethLemon · 22/06/2018 23:33

@Cookie1831 Dillon is such a stunner honestly, congrats again!

Shutupanddance1 · 23/06/2018 04:55

@Cookie1831 congrats on baby Dillon! That was me and DH name if this baby was a boy but it’s a girl Grin

I’m also in hospital - think I’m contracting but they haven’t picked up any big ones yet on the monitor Hmm. Every time I have one the nurses are doing something else which then makes me think I’m not in labour at all!

RockinRobinTweets · 23/06/2018 12:12

Hope everything is going well for everyone!

How are the c section mums healing. My scar seems to be looking a bit pinker now 3 weeks down the line, initially it was less obvious. Is this just part of the healing process? No pain or discharge etc.

RockinRobinTweets · 23/06/2018 12:13

Hope this is it for you shutup

Northernbeachbum · 23/06/2018 19:07

@cookie1831 massive congrats on your new arrival. How are you feeling?

@jadeward89 and @dinosaursate sorry to hear you're feeling low. Great that you're acting on it though and hopefully it will be short lived

@rockinrobintweets my scar is healing well, sometimes too well as I forget and do something silly then make myself sore and worry. It's still a bit pink but it's not hot to touch so I'm not worrying. I'm considering trying vit e cream as apparently that can help healing drastically. I have no idea what it's supposed to look like though to be honest, I do keep wondering.

Alice0606 · 23/06/2018 20:31

Oh wow, lots of action whilst I’ve been in hospital and offline!

Our son, Clement Joseph, was born at 11pm Tuesday night, weighing 8lbs and we think he’s perfect!

Labour wasn’t a good experience for a variety of reasons. Ending with a forceps delivery, an episiotomy and a 4th degree tear.

We finally got discharged at about 8:30pm last night and since we’ve been home Clement has refused to settle unless he’s being cuddled. He was absolutely fine in hospital, quite happy lying in the crib. We’re also struggling with breastfeeding. Hopefully things will get easier soon!

Sorry you didn’t have a positive experience in labour. I hope you’re recovering and managing to rest up a bit. Also hope he gets a bit more settled, I think a rough labour can make them a bit unsettled too.

RockinRobinTweets · 23/06/2018 23:42

Northern, some kind of visual guide would be helpful wouldn’t it? Although I imagine that the healing process isn’t universal

ElizabethLemon · 23/06/2018 23:44

Congratulations @Alice0606 Clement is lovely and I love the name! Sorry you had a rough labour and things are a bit tricky at home, it will get easier as you get to know each other and get into the swing of things.

ElizabethLemon · 23/06/2018 23:49

@RockinRobinTweets sometimes I can barely see my scar and then sometimes it looks a little pinker. It doesn’t seem to like the heat and unfortunately I have a lovely stomach pouch that sits nicely with over it and irritates it, so charming! As long as it’s not sore, hot to touch or smelly it should be fine.

Northernbeachbum · 24/06/2018 01:32

Welcome to the world Clement and congratulations @alice0606. Sorry to hear you didn't have a great experience, must have been tough. How are you feeling now?

@rockinrobintweets I think photos showing good and bad healing would be really helpful actually on discharge! No one looked at mine after the 3 day check. Mines a bit itchy but I think that's normal healing. It is a bit sore but I think that's where the feeling is coming back to the skin, it's not agony just I'm aware of it.

Shutupanddance1 · 24/06/2018 04:52

Hi ladies!!

Checking in to say we had our baby -little girl Aine yesterday. Labor was an intense 3 and half hours Confused with no drugs Shock but we got our VBAC so delighted.
BF is going well at this stage, she’s a little more refluxy than DD1 so that’s something to get use to!

Northernbeachbum · 24/06/2018 06:51

Congratulations @shutupanddance. No drugs, wow!!!!! How are you getting on? Are you home yet?

ElizabethLemon · 24/06/2018 07:22

Hooray! @Shutupanddance1 congratulations and well done!

Shutupanddance1 · 24/06/2018 10:27

Thanks ladies, home tomorrow morning and everything is absolutely perfect!

Feeling a bit delicate now downstairs but I’m sure I’ll be fine in a few days time Wink.

@northernbeachbum the no drugs bit was no intentional - everything happened so fast by the time I got checked I was 9cms! Envy

Lali1 · 24/06/2018 10:32

@Alice0606 (Clement is so handsome!) and @Shutupanddance (impressed on no drugs for you) congratulations on your babies arrivals!

Am I the last one still expecting??
The good news is house renovation is now finished, nursery painted, floor in, furniture intalled, cleaning done yesterday (hired help)!

From today I can go out walking and trying to get the girl moving before induction on Wednesday :).

Lovely Sunday everyone!

jadeward89 · 24/06/2018 10:58

Congratulations @Alice0606 and @shutupanddance hope you are both doing well 😊

Flyingfruit · 24/06/2018 12:44

No @lali1, I’m still waiting 41 weeks today!
