Hello! I haven’t seen a thread so thought I’d start one for any other mums expecting December babies :-)
I’m 24, this is #2 (have a DS who is 4) and EDD is 3/12/18!
Had an early mc in Feb so feeling quite anxious still.

OP posts:

balalalala · 06/04/2018 13:43

I'm actually feeling a bit better which is as much of a worry! Still getting some cramps which likewise I don't remember having last time! I've definitely put on weight though! Not just bloat, actual fat!!

MrsTeaPlease · 06/04/2018 16:52

**balalalala that is very true! But maybe you are just going to be lucky and sail through it feeling good! Grin haha, it's just cushioning for baby though :p
It's surprising how much you forget everything isn't it?! How many weeks are you now?x

balalalala · 06/04/2018 17:05

Yes, I was pretty lucky first time round and never really felt bad, so fingers crossed for a repeat! Just did a digital cb and got 3+ weeks which aligns! I think 5+4! How about you?

MrsTeaPlease · 06/04/2018 21:10

Ooo fingers crossed for you then! I vommed about twice a day with my son so I'm expecting the same again! I'm 4+6 going by my pill withdrawal bleed, but I haven't actually had a period as only just came off so I think I'm more like 4 weeks, but it'll be a mystery until the scan I guess!

balalalala · 06/04/2018 21:29

Oh fingers crossed you don't get a repeat!

Mamabooksbabynumber2 · 07/04/2018 08:17

When can everyone have their booking in appointment? I rang the gp and they said 8 weeks.

jld1202 · 07/04/2018 08:38

8 weeks for me too Smile

Emilyrose1290 · 07/04/2018 10:05

I am changing gp as have moved and am currently 6 weeks so might have to wait longer than 8 weeks Confused

Mamabooksbabynumber2 · 07/04/2018 10:16

Has anyone booked their booking appointment? Anyone told anyone? We've told parents and my two best friends.

balalalala · 07/04/2018 11:16

I've got my booking in appointment at 8 weeks. So far we've just told my mum and my best friend!

0lgaDaPolga · 07/04/2018 12:33

Hi all, please can I join?

So sorry to the ladies that have suffered losses Flowers

I’ve just had my booking appointment. They think I am due 15th nov based on lmp but I’m almost certain I’m due 3rd December after ovulating very late after coming off the pill.

This will be baby #2 for us. My little boy is 10 months now so it should be an 18 month gap between them. Nervous but excited!

MrsTeaPlease · 07/04/2018 12:46

I haven't rung up about booking in apmt, maybe I should on Monday. My son's been poorly since Thursday night and today his cheeks are bright red so I'm hoping he hasn't got the slapped cheek virus as apparently it's dangerous to catch if pregnant. Just my luck! So it might be off to the doctors if it is Sad

Curlypop · 08/04/2018 07:54

Can I join?
I've just got a positive on a FRER test.
My due date would be 16.12.18!
Going to test again tomorrow to see if it's darker line.
My boobs are killing!

JimmyPestoJunior · 08/04/2018 12:40

Congrats Curlypop!

MrsTeaPlease · 08/04/2018 14:39

Hi curlypop! Congrats!

DoAsDreamersDo · 08/04/2018 18:13

Hi ladies, I’m due 5th December with my first. We’d been trying for nearly a year so we’re really excited (and a little bit nervous). I rang my GPS last week because I heard that it can be a long wait to get to see the midwife but I got an appointment for 17th April (when I’ll only be about 7 weeks pregnant!)

balalalala · 08/04/2018 19:16

Congrats curlypop and dreamers! I've had a rough 24 hours as I seem to have picked up a stomach bug. Really miserable and hoping it won't cause any harm to the baby!

Skittlelover · 09/04/2018 13:07

Hi everyone,
Tentatively joining the December babies board. I'm 28, currently have a 13 month old. Due roughly 12/12/18.
Sadly I have had recurrent miscarriage including 2 missed at 12 weeks last one in late Jan so feeling a bit fragile! Got my bfp today, get to surprise my hubby tonight which is lovely as it's our 2 year wedding anniversary.
Lots of hoping and nerves for the next 8 weeks. Hoping for some support through this crazy time. Congrats to everyone here and lots of positive vibes! X

MrsTeaPlease · 09/04/2018 15:20

Congrats skittle and dreamers! Poor you balala, hope it eases off soon for you, but I'm sure baby will be fine in there. I called up for my booking in apt today but have been told someone will call me back to arrange between 7 and 8 weeks. I will be asking for an elective c section this time as I hard a really difficult birth last time and my son was poorly afterwards so i am not risking it again! Bit nervous to ask for one though and expecting to have to fight for it! Anyone else planning to have a section?

Mamabooksbabynumber2 · 09/04/2018 15:45

Hi everyone who have just joined!
What's everyone symptoms?
I am really bloated, tired, needing to go for a wee and number 2 more (tmi!) And sore boobs.

Emilyrose1290 · 09/04/2018 15:57

I am also sooo bloated - it’s #2 for me and I look about 6 months pregnant it’s awful!! No other symptoms other than really constipated ( sorry tmi 🙈)

Usernamechecksout · 09/04/2018 18:42

Happy anniversary skittle!

I feel bloated too. I start the day looking normal, but end up heavily pregnant by the evening!

Had some spotting yesterday, with bits of red blood, but it’s stopped now. This happened a few months ago too. I’m just going to have to wait until next week, when I’m getting an early scan (well, hopefully, have not phoned them yet).

raysan1 · 10/04/2018 00:07

hey Skittle, are you on progesterone pessaries? Think that is really helpful.

I had early pregnancy scan last week at 5.5 weeks and all good. Back in 2 weeks, as it was too early to see the embryo properly.

Pampl3m0usse · 10/04/2018 07:31

pregnant with a very unexpected #4 here. my others are 7, 5 and 1. due around 9th December I think. MrsTeaPlease - I'll be having a section. had an emergency after a traumatic #1 then asked for an elcs for #2 (which I had a bit of a battle for) then have had to subsequently.

hope everyone is doing OK. I'm hoping things go smoothly here - my mum died in December and my Gran last Friday.... and we need to move house....

MrsTeaPlease · 10/04/2018 18:51

I'm so sorry to hear that pampl3. Hope this little bean is a bit of happiness for you all at a sad time that will keep you all looking forward.
Mamabooksbabynumber2 I feel massively bloated, spending far more time in the toilet and just this week my nipples are bloody sore, almost like sunburnt or something! No sickness yet, really hoping it passes me this time!x
