Hello! I haven’t seen a thread so thought I’d start one for any other mums expecting December babies :-)
I’m 24, this is #2 (have a DS who is 4) and EDD is 3/12/18!
Had an early mc in Feb so feeling quite anxious still.

Cramping for me too!

Evie1992 · 30/03/2018 14:43

My boobs started to get sore, I seem to have lost my appetite? I don't know if that's just cause I feel a bit sick just now? This is all just so new to me! I got a scare yesterday cause I had the WORST pain I've ever felt in my stomach was so sure it was going to be a miscarriage but docs said it's probably implantation pains! Still can't believe it's happening!!

Wellthisunexpected · 30/03/2018 15:03

I lose my appetite in the first trimester Evie even lost weight in my last pregnancy regained it all and more later on.

Just been for a run. Very pleased with myself, was so sedentary last pregnancy.

Evie1992 · 30/03/2018 16:54

Thanks wellthisisunexpected crazy all the changes your body goes through!

Emilyrose1290 · 30/03/2018 17:00

Reassuring to hear lots of you having cramps, I also have IBS and thought it was just that!

Wellthisunexpected · 30/03/2018 19:23

Emily pregnancy definitely makes my IBS worse Sad

Emilyrose1290 · 30/03/2018 19:59

@Wellthisisunexpected oh no 😣 my IBS was actually better with my first, but not this time... also been waking up in the night with horrible indigestion, I wonder if this is pregnancy related.
Got an appointment with my GP next week, anyone seen theirs already?
I would love an early scan but my OH isn’t too keen and I guess we can’t really afford it. Anyone else having one?

emwithme · 30/03/2018 20:11

Hi guys

Joining you here with an EDD of 6 December.

I'm 41, DH is 37 and this will be DC1 for both of us.

This is our third pregnancy - no1 ended in MC in March 2017 (8 weeks but bean only measured 5+4) and no 2 ended in MC in August 2017 (12 weeks but bean only measured 9+5) so I'm super-nervous.

No real symptoms here except the fact that I'm SO tired.

Hope we all have super-smooth pregnancies and beautiful squishy babies just in time for Christmas!

Evie1992 · 30/03/2018 20:12

Emilyrose I've not seen my GP yet I'll probs book my appointment towards the end of April, I don't even know if being in Scotland we get early scans unless you can pay and get it privately? Will probs just wait till the 12 week scan! Can't wait to see baby for first time! I have DSD whose 15 months and can't wait for her to be a big sister! So much to look forward to this year!

balalalala · 30/03/2018 20:13

I've got a scan booked to check a cyst on my ovary which will be when I'm about 6.5 weeks. Do you think they'll be able to see anything?

mollymoo0 · 30/03/2018 20:22

Hi can I join also I am due my 2nd baby on the 29th November.

I am currently 5+1. The tiredness is starting to set in and I was sick for the first time today. I'm feeling more nauseous earlier this time and more cramps and pains.

Wellthisunexpected · 31/03/2018 08:15

I'm not sure if I need to see a GP, I think I can self refer to the midwives. I could last time but I've moved areas this time so need to check.

Tefiti2 · 31/03/2018 08:18

Morning ladies! Brown spotting here, and sore boobs seem to have gone, so thinking the worst. This is exactly what happened in February too. Going to see how the weekend pans out, not going to self refer to EPU because it’s just a waiting game anyway!

Tefiti2 try not to think the worst hun! I know it's hard when it's all that is going through your head! Wishing you all the best this weekend x

AaronPurrSir · 31/03/2018 08:44

Tefiti how many weeks are you? I had brown spotting on the days AF would have been due. Try not to panic, as long as it stays as light brown spotting and isn’t bright red blood you should hopefully be ok x

Wellthisunexpected · 31/03/2018 08:45

tefiti really hope not. The waiting is horrible isn't it.

Usernamechecksout · 31/03/2018 11:57

tefiti I had a missed miscarriage in December, totally understand the anxiety. It stopped developing at 5-6 weeks, but I only knew for sure around 9 and had to go to hospital and take tablets to miscarry. It was awful. The midwife said that I could get an early scan around seven weeks this time, so I'm definitely taking her up on that!

I have had a cold this week, so not sure if my symptoms are connected to that or not, but I've had hot flashes, shortness of breath and heart palpitations. Yesterday I felt lots of pressure and bloat and my lower belly was as hard as a rock!

Usernamechecksout · 31/03/2018 12:02

balala yes they will be able to see something. At least a sac and perhaps the heartbeat as that starts around 6 weeks? But it's still early, so the sonographer will be able to better tell you what you can see then.

Emilyrose1290 · 31/03/2018 12:48

Sorry to hear that @Tefiti fx it’s just implantation spotting

Tefiti2 · 31/03/2018 14:42

Thanks for the good thoughts ladies, unfortunately the bleeding is very heavy now and cramps are very painful. Really gutted but it just wasn’t meant to be. Lots of positive thoughts for you all, wishing you a healthy and happy 9 months xx

Sorry to read this tefiti. Fingers crossed it still isn't the worst.

Emilyrose1290 · 31/03/2018 18:09

Oh @Tefiti2 sorry to hear that, will keep everything crossed for you.

Wellthisunexpected · 31/03/2018 18:49

Really sorry to hear that Tefiti. take good care of yourself.xx

Wellthisunexpected · 01/04/2018 11:22

Unfortunately ladies it looks like I too will be leaving you. 2 tests this morning show I'm probably miscarrying. I've not started bleeding yet but I'm guessing it won't be long.

All the best to you all.

Evie1992 · 01/04/2018 11:52

Wellthisisunexpected awwww hun I'm so sorry! How do you know? I only ask as this is my first ever pregnancy and hearing everyone's heartbreak I just want to be on the look out? If your not bleeding yet it could all be fine? X
