Hello! I haven’t seen a thread so thought I’d start one for any other mums expecting December babies :-)
I’m 24, this is #2 (have a DS who is 4) and EDD is 3/12/18!
Had an early mc in Feb so feeling quite anxious still.

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Still bleeding heavily, ruined my bedding over night and as I ran to the bathroom I got blood all over the hallway. Sorry for TMI.

HCG level came back at 25 so I’m out. So so sad

binkybunny · 17/04/2018 11:56

So sorry pineapple and curlypop be kind to yourselves, take your time and do what you feel you need to Flowers

MrsTeaPlease · 17/04/2018 17:55

So sorry for you both, I hope you both have support and people to lean on at home to look after you at such a hard time. We are here to talk too, if you need someone.xx

Curlypop · 17/04/2018 20:36

Not sure what I'm
Meant to do? Do I phone up and say what's happened? or not bother and just wait for it to stop and try again when I feel ready?

SpongeBobGrannyPants · 17/04/2018 21:34

@Curlypop I'm so sorry for your loss. I'd call the EPU and ask them what's recommended. I think it's good to have it recorded in your medical records somewhere and they may want to ask about blood loss/pain levels etc.

SpongeBobGrannyPants · 17/04/2018 21:36

ThanksFor @pineapplefritter too x

JustCallMeTheOven · 18/04/2018 06:48

Hello, I think I'm in here, not 100% sure on due date as I had irregular periods so I hope you don't mind me hanging around until I know for sure? xx

duffed · 18/04/2018 16:11

Welcome Justcallmetheoven! you thinking you might cross over with Nov or Jan? None of us can really guarantee our dates now can we.

Hope those of you with bad news are treating yourselves. Bath, gin, chocolate?

JustCallMeTheOven · 18/04/2018 17:02

Hi Duffed it could be November or December as I had a crazy wee bleed halfway through last month so they aren't sure if that was a period or not can't wait for the first scan though, it makes it all real! 😘

binkybunny · 18/04/2018 20:29

curlypop I'd called GP or 111 to get referred to the EPU. they'll take blood and check your hg levels are ok. They'll do a scan if your levels are still high to see what's going on. x

gemgem1234 · 18/04/2018 23:10

hello everyone, im due 25 dec! - hoping for an early or late baby :-)

raysan1 · 19/04/2018 06:26

Gemgem, congrats, know what you mean about Xmas day!
I had an early scan at 7+2 and we have a heartbeat Grin. Was so relieved as my miscarriage was at week 7. Hospital were lovely and now I'm going to book in with the normal maternity services (from assisted reproduction unit)

Curlypop and pineapple, in my experience, they will want to scan you but it's a heartbreaking scan, even though you know already. If asked again, I wouldn't go and would rely non hcg levels with home test. If teat still positive, insist on progesterone pessaries (standard practise in some other EU countries) xxx

Fififiesta · 19/04/2018 13:52

Curly I lost one like that, I went to the GP who didnt refer me for a scan as it was early and it was obvious that the pregnancy had ended. I found it upsetting because they were not very comforting and wished I hadnt gone but I dont know if you are supposed to always go see someone or not. Its an awful thing to have happen, I'm sorry you are going thru it. Same for you Pineapple

I think I am due 16/12 - feeling sick a LOT despite only being 5w.

Fififiesta · 19/04/2018 14:10

Curly just to add that my bleeding was not as extreme as yours just like a really heavy period so I would definitely see someone if you are bleeding that heavily just to be sure. x

Coffeist · 19/04/2018 18:00

Hi can I join? I have baby #1 due 12th dec if everything goes well... I had MC in early feb - around 6 weeks so same than I'm now. Hmm

Usernamechecksout · 19/04/2018 18:18

Anyone else having reflux? Every evening I’m chewing rennies. Last time I only had this in the last month of pregnancy. It’s so annoying!

There is a suggestion on the other December thread to merge these two by starting a new thread in the antenal talk group. Is anyone up for that?

balalalala · 19/04/2018 22:05

It makes sense to do, although I wouldn't know how!

I always struggle with acid reflux so I'm on constant ranitidine, however I've been better since switching to the seven seas vitamins rather than the pregnacare ones this time round.

SpongeBobGrannyPants · 19/04/2018 22:43

This is the other group. I think if everyone joins that thread (purely because it's busier) we could probably park this one. Would mean all the Dec 18 mums are together on one thread.
