@Belles86 I had a UTI at the start of my pregnancy and in the last week too, the antibiotics worked a treat, drink as much water as you can!

BiscayTrafalgarFitzroy · 09/03/2018 22:18

After I finish my antibiotics I have to give a water sample every week of the remainder of my pregnancy for screening! Better safe than sorry I guess. Has anyone else got to do this?

running3 · 09/03/2018 22:20

Hi all! I was a bit quiet on the old thread waiting to get a bit further along. Will be 10 weeks tomorrow, like a couple of others I had my booking appointment yesterday so now waiting for scan date.

@DwangelaForever that's so funny, I was thinking the same as I've been feeling massive for weeks and have put on more weight than expected too- I even googled the stats for how likely you are to have twins today!!

running3 · 09/03/2018 22:23

@ATP1000 I'm the same with the white foods!! And I'm just so hungry all the time!

Lovely to hear some of you have had happy early scans Smile

Belles86 · 09/03/2018 22:51

@BiscayTrafalgarFitzroy ahh ok, good to know, thanks! This urethra better get its shit together!

Hayleyxmx · 09/03/2018 23:01

Thanks @monkerina hopefully push me forward then when I finally get my 12 week scan.

The anxiety is getting to me lately dr. Google strikes again I just find myself googling everything and the sad stories that come up make me so anxious

FrauNeuer · 10/03/2018 01:53

Hey ladies,

Thanks ATP for the new thread and hello to those who’ve just joined!

Fantastic news that so many are having positive early scans! Smile

Anban I reckon ours is a boy, too! No real reason, aside from the fact that husband keeps referring to baby as ‘he’, and I keep being drawn towards boys’ stuff when I’m browsing the internet.

I’m right there with you hayley. Completely paranoid all the time. Have you had a reassurance scan at all?

I’m 10+4 and today had enough energy to bake some bread and clean the kitchen windows without feeling like I was going to drop down dead from exhaustion! It’s awesome having some energy back, but still I’m a bit worried if everything’s ok... I thought that the sickness and exhaustion was supposed to last until the start of the 2nd trimester...? Hmm

That said, my very direct mother told me that I looked ‘massive’ tonight, so maybe that’s a good sign that all is well!

Hayleyxmx · 10/03/2018 02:57

Glad I’m not the only one @FrauNeuer I had a scan at 9weeks 2 days they pushed my dates back to 8weeks 1 day but jelly bean was measuring 1.5cm and had a fhr of 160 bpm dr google tells me that’s ok 🙂

I’m praying I get an energy burst soon My OH sees me for 20 minuets after work before I pass out 😄

Filzma · 10/03/2018 06:37

Thanks @ATP1000 for the thread!
Had my booking appointment like most, this week. Uneventful.

Have my scan coming up end of the month and until then I'm trying not to raise hopes or think too much of it.

Exhaustion levels still high. Can barely get anything done apart from taking care of toddler.

As for showing, I'm beginning to show through oversized clothes don't know how long I can keep this in😉🤞

Katievb · 10/03/2018 07:23

Had my booking appointment on Monday and got my scan date through yesterday. It’s for 2 weeks time when I will be 12+1. Does anyone else feel really anxious about the first scan?? Xx

running3 · 10/03/2018 09:03

@Katievb I'm a little anxious about the scan but also excited- think I'm even more anxious about getting results from the screening following the scan Sad

ConfusionIsNothingNew · 10/03/2018 09:24

I got my booking scan appointment for when I'll only be 10+4! I'm a bit worried that it'll be too early to be able to do all the measurements, even though the guidelines say it can be done between 10-14 weeks.

tappitytaptap · 10/03/2018 11:28

@DwangelaForever I have a little bump too at just shy of 9 weeks! Its my second so just rubbish stomach muscles I reckon. Its def not twins (my fear too as I have a just about to turn 2 yr old) as I made the guy check at my early scan 😂

RhiBee29 · 10/03/2018 19:02

Hi everyone, congratulations to all on your bfp's!

Can I join you please? EDD 28th October. 7 weeks tomorrow. Booking appt made for 22nd March. Feeling absolutely awful, nauseous (not sick) and tired but very pleased to actually have symptoms.

SkyLucy · 10/03/2018 19:59

Hello everyone! Can I join too? Embarrassingly I'm really not sure of my due date, but some basic maths tells me it will be around the end of October. I have a 1 year-old and was very, very surprised to get a BFP yesterday after feeling nauseous two mornings in a row!

@tappitytaptap haha glad it's not just me!! I had a section with my first so I'm thinking it's just crap muscles? I've heard your uterus never fully shrinks back either so it gets bigger quicker with your second 🤔

RhiBee29 · 10/03/2018 21:35

Hey @Milknosugar1 hope your well! I'm taking it day by day, absolutely terrified, so far only DH & I know. Tempted to book an early scan and then tell our parents.

BiscayTrafalgarFitzroy · 10/03/2018 21:50

@RhiBee29 good to see you here!

HeatherTess · 10/03/2018 21:56

Hi everyone. Just marking the thread. Hope everyone is feeling well and looking forward to their first scans.

Running365 · 11/03/2018 07:04

Congrats ladies! I'd love to join you all, first pregnancy for me and currently 9 weeks. EDD mid October. Was wondering if anyone has had experience from previous pregnancies of being rhesus negative? Had my bloods at my booking appointment last week and the results came through in the post yesterday that I'm in the 15%. The treatment sounds quite straightforward, I just wanted to know if there was anything else to be aware of? TIA and Happy Mother's Day to all you mothers already, and future mums to be! Smile

tappitytaptap · 11/03/2018 08:46

@DwangelaForever I had a section too, leta blame that 😉

DwangelaForever · 11/03/2018 09:37

My first Mother's Day present from bump was my first proper sickness 😷 I've spewed my breakfast up a few times this pregnancy but I was bringing my DD downstairs today and just got into the living room and that horrible yellow bile stuff came up, was standing being sick into the kitchen sink for around 15 mins 😂🙈🙈

monkerina · 11/03/2018 10:04

Hey Running, congrats! I'm O neg as is my husband. With DS 2 years ago I was given an anti-D injection after he was born (and when I had a bleed at 17 weeks pg) despite the fact he's obviously O neg too (apparently they just don't take the mums word on parentage!!) but this time the midwife mentioned a blood test around the 16-20 week mark to see if I had positive markers from baby in my blood, which would determine if anti-D was required. Either way, if you have incompatible blood status it's just a quick jab ☺️

RhiBee29 · 11/03/2018 10:24

Hi @BiscayTrafalgarFitzroy hope you're doing ok x
