Thought I'd start up a new thread as the old one has run out of space.

Happy Birthday Peterpanwendy Flowers Cake

Kiki275 · 02/02/2018 19:30

Happy birthday @Peterpanwendy
@Gem173 Careful whar you wish for, today for the first time ever I'm struggling to keep my tea down. Tiredness kicked in a while ago. Both me and DH were in bed at 9pm last night with the electric blanket on. Best sleep in ages 😊 x

YouCantBeSirius · 02/02/2018 20:00

Happy birthday @petwepanwendy I hope you've had a lovely day.

BertieBotts · 02/02/2018 20:13

I got really easily irritated last week but it seems to come and go.

Am still tired all the time. Most nights I've fallen asleep at about 8pm. Even DS doesn't go to bed that early Blush

milney25 · 02/02/2018 20:17

Happy birthday @peterpanwendy!

I get annoyed easily at the moment, usually aimed at DP. I think he's pleased I'm going to bed so early!

CaffeineDragon · 03/02/2018 07:23

Place holder!

Stephiewoo · 03/02/2018 07:41

DP in plaster, possible surgery imminent as wrecked his Achilles so spent yesterday in hospitals over wales!
I've lost my voice and have been signed off work for 3 months.
Dog has eaten his bed.
Work are trying to discipline me for unauthorised absence ( they want me out as I'm a bit of a whistleblower and love to challenge).
Morning sickness has come back 10 fold.

I don't do drama but the last few days I've felt like I'm in an episode of Eastenders!

Morning ladies!!!!!!! Missed you lot yesterday x

Kiki275 · 03/02/2018 07:58

Good grief @Stephiewoo, My family could be a Jeremy Kyle contender but to have your own soap opera going on!! 😁 Introduce your bosses to the neighbour and they'll soon appreciate what you're going through x

peterpanwendy · 03/02/2018 09:38

Thank you for all the birthday wishes! I was at work yesterday but my class were super cute and sang to me about 20 times and wished me a happy birthday at least 100 times! I went to my mums for one of my favourite dinners but unfortunately the nausea is still pretty strong in the evenings and I barely ate it and only had a nibble of the Millie's cookie cake I'd been asking for all of January! So frustrating. Was sick in the night for the first time this pregnancy which was weird but I'm feeling alright this morning (thank goodness for weekend lie ins!) and I'm off to London today to see a show which I can't wait for! So worried I will be falling asleep during it though haha

Hope you all have lovely weekends x

CaffeineDragon · 03/02/2018 10:59

@Stephiewoo oh my god - that all sounds horrible! I'm so sorry. I hope it all starts to improve soon and it sounds like being away from your work is a healthy move. Can I ask why you were signed off for 3 mos? Pregnancy related? Sorry if I missed something. x

Gem173 · 03/02/2018 11:19

@petermanwendy glad you had a good birthday! Loss of appetite and ms deffo doesn’t sound like a good combo. Hope you enjoy your show today and don’t fall asleep!

@Stephiewoo wow you have had a busy week! Glad my week isn’t as hectic! Really cba to do housework this weekend. So just sitting down and doing f all! Won’t be like this when little one comes! Hope your DP gets better and everything goes back to normal!

@Kiki275 oh i wish for symptom free ish pregnancy with the baby coming back fine at my 12 and 20 week scans. But you can’t always get what you wish for, your right! Oh has managed to get 12 week scan off. So just me. Our plan is to wake up go to scan, go to shop get pancake batter, make pancakes, then go to a restaurant which we have booked as our valentines meal, albeit a day early!

TheSleeperandTheSpindle · 03/02/2018 11:34

Haven’t posted in a long time! It seems like once I get in from work, eat and sort out DS I’m then falling asleep on the sofa ready to repeat the whole thing the next day!

I’m now 11+1 and fingers crossed the sickness seems to be easing. Still feel awful when when I’m hungry though.

Got a sore throat, sinus pain, blocked nose etc today so feeling a bit sorry for myself, especially as I can’t take anything that would actually help!

Good news is my scan appointment has come through! 14th Feb so not long to wait and luckily it is in half term so won’t need to take time off work.

Hope everyone else is doing ok and sorry to hear some of you have had losses Flowers

CumbrianExile · 03/02/2018 11:54

How's this for pregnancy rage! Came upstairs to clean the bathroom and dh (after about 30 mins and is loved on to our bedroom) came up with ds looking for me! I told him I'd done the bathroom, since it was only me who ever noticed this house was a tip! He asked why I hadn't asked for help to which I lost it a bit and informed him he has eyes too! So he started 'helping' by doing ds room. Only ds is moving stuff from his room to mine and generally getting in the way so I again shouted at dh to get downstairs with ds and leave me alone! I don't need help, I'll do it myself as always. Now I'm lying on the bed angry at both myself and dh, and listening to the boys having so much fun! And the cleaning has stopped! Hormones eh! HmmAngry

CumbrianExile · 03/02/2018 11:55

'And I'd moved on to our bedroom' really should proof read Blush

milney25 · 03/02/2018 16:30

@CumbrianExile love it! I hate t when they say, why didn't you ask me? I always say 'why didn't you notice'

On a side note I just had to go and get fitted for a bra. 36FF, outrageous.

birdy1978 · 03/02/2018 16:32

Hey TheSleeperAndTheSpindle - I feel your pain! Day three of hideous head cold here. Nose running by day, sinus pain stopping me sleep at night. Toddler is not afflicted with the same lurgy so still full of beans and definitely not wanting to nap when mummy wants/needs to! Honey and lemon is my current cold ‘cure’. Hope you’re feeling better soon.

CumbrianExile · 03/02/2018 17:44

Ha milney it's frustrating isn't it?!

Anyway I ended up apologising and it's all good now! I've been out all afternoon so we will see if anything's been done while I'm out!

Stephiewoo · 03/02/2018 18:15

Well DP is a rubbish patient, he's not happy sitting on his arse, it's usually me moaning that I want to do stuff and he doesn't let me, so the tables have turned.
Big fat steak for dinner!

BertieBotts · 03/02/2018 20:14

Oops, I bought DH a bottle of wine today with the shopping and didn't notice it had a cork. We've moved house but not moved the corkscrew! Hehe, I think maybe I was secretly sabotaging him...

CumbrianExile · 03/02/2018 23:06

Grin Bertie sounds like something I'd do!

Hope you enjoyed the steak Stephie.
