Due at New Year....anyone else?!

Have just found out that I am pregnant. Blimey! A bit nervous/scared! DH says scared is too strong a word. Might be from his side of things but I think that I'm scared!
Due 31st Dec or 1st Jan, can't quite work out whether cycle is 29 or 30 days.
First time, so not too sure what to expect!
Anyone else due at new year?

I'm feeling quite sick now, it started on Friday and seems to get a little worse each day. Eating is the only thing that helps. My excessive eating has meant that my clothes ae already beging to get a bit tight!

Confrats to all. I don't know a due date yet as iampg after anmcwithno AF inbetween..!

But I'mworriedtoday as have low backache and seemtohave lost my soreboobs.I have a GP'sappt today to arrange a dating scan.

it all right to be nosey I am a big nosey parker . Me, DP and some friends were filming as they are making a film - flash gordon style (makes a change from the dr who films they make). I was a fighter ace pilot in it very very silly. DP was the emporer! Had a giggle, ate a whole packet of ginger biscuits and tried not to throw up on set! lol.

DS was off with his dad for the weekend so unfortunately he missed it.

Yes its mad how eating helps when its the last thing you want to do. I just want to eat junk - mostly carbs, or chocolate or fruit pastilles. My sickness gets worse every other day. I think thats because the hormones increase every other day is that right?

mumto3girls - hope everything is ok. I've been getting lower back pain as well but boobs not nearly as sore. Good luck with gp.

the new one isnt online yet it was still be filmed yesterday. THe dr who ones are tho.. I am not in those ones although will be in the next one

Hi all - had a scan today and there is definitely a heart beating so I haven't imagined it all! (BTW, I'm thisisnotmyrealMNname - I've now told the only people in RL that might guess if they read my profile!)

have found out to my cost that fajita spice mix (last nights supper) and ms just don't go together! Not being sick, just feel generally rough, nauseous (and a bit of retching) and like my insides are burning up....so would warn you all to avoid, unless you have found one that you like!

I was meant to have early scan and be seen by high risk pregnancy clinic (according to lupus consultant) but 3 1/2 weeks after I e mailed him and 2 weeks after going to gp to get referral (now 7 weeks), I have still heard nothing.

So rang antenatal clinic appointments and they said referral received by not appointments in system yet but would get appointment to see midwife in due course....sort of progress, but not exactly the early scan I had been told I needed!

Scan dept told me that I needed to just turn up at early preg unit in the morning and could get scan that way...but can't see that I would exactly be priority for them.

Urrgg!
Sorry for the whinging...just very frustrating trying to navigate the system.

Think that I might give it a go and just turn up early on wed and see what happens....though will mean I will be late for work and have already been off today...hmmm!

Any sage words of advice anyone?!

Are you are 7 weeks too? Am trying to work out dates - think i am 6/7 weeks now. Scan tomorrw. Did you get the pic? Are you goingt o scan it on so we can all have a peek Dont know what to expect tomorrow. SOrry if tmi but last scan at 4/5 was transvaginal - shall i assume the same for this one? womb was back to front last preg.

I feel like i am going mad, i have done 4 tests all had a faint second line, and i used a digital clear blue which said pregnant but i just dont feel pg.

My boobs have stopped hurting and i dont feel sick at all.

Takin my eldest son to work at 5pm so i am gonna send him to get me more tests, this time gonna get the normal clear blue.

Not been to doctor yet, a little scared as i have alreay had 3cs (they wanted to sterilize me) and your supposed to wait a couple of years before ttc, i waited 8months,

lisa111, faint line is still meant to be positive. What are your dates? If it is early you could test again tomorrow morning when you might have more hormones ( a day later and first urine meant to be more concentrated)

Do you want to be pregnant....sounds like you do from the TTC comment, but bit confused about the sterilization bit.

Now i know it doesnt matter as long as its healthy, but deep down i would love a DD.

I overheard my oldest ds on the phone to a mate "i hope its a girl this time, or i will end up with enough brothers to make a footie team". Cheeky monkey he is.

birdseed, hospital said i would be high risk to have more than 3c-sections, so they recomened sterilization. But i know people who have had 4.

Yes we have been ttc for 4months i am lucky, my last af was 2nd april, my last test was fri and that came up pos.

Birdseed - I had been to see the fertility clinic to get checked out as we'd been trying for a couple of years. When I got the bfp I kept the appt and she scanned me as she had the equipment there.

Awen - it was a vaginal scan so empty bladder required! Saying that, I think it's borderline at this stage which sort they do. I'm either 7 weeks today or Thursday (7 weeks from LMP but I have usually a 31 day cycle) - the ultrasound was not precise enough to get dating measurements as it was the older machine they use in that clinic.

Goingfor3 - I did ask the other day if you'd be on the MN antenatal threads!!
