Boobs are fine again. No symptoms or sickness. So far so good.

Cant believe it's happening.

StrawberryLemonade · 29/11/2017 20:12

Hi Lucy!
I could well end up in July too even though EDD will be August. I had DC1 at 37 weeks due to pregnancy complications so if that happens again I could be induced early.
Although it sounds weird talking like that when it's still so early on! So worried something will go wrong. I tested again this afternoon and it's fainter then yesterday (Which was a dark line) but I'd drank lots of water so hoping just dilution. Have a CB digital now but I'm waiting until the morning for that.

YouCantBeSirius · 29/11/2017 21:20

Strawberry I've been going overboard on the tests. I've done one every day now Blush my line has definitely got darker though.

LucyDolly · 30/11/2017 06:54

Hey Strawberry! I heard the darkness of the line wasn’t something that you should worry about but who knows?

I did 5 tests in 12 hours when I first found out! First two I thought no it won’t be surely! Hence OH getting another 2 then next morning rushing out for a clear blue!

I chucked them all in the bin (I don’t know why) and now I’m like I should have kept the first one. Strange I know!

This is all so strange and surreal

Xx

StrawberryLemonade · 30/11/2017 10:18

Right I need to stop testing now! These were my tests this morning which tie in with dates etc so fingers crossed all good. I have another CB digital but no point doing it for a couple of weeks really.
Why do we become crazy stick peeing people!

spydie · 30/11/2017 14:03

My boobs have been getting less sore so panicking thinking I'm not pregnant now. Going to test again tonight lol. But I remember with DD that this happened too and I felt perfectly normal for a couple of weeks.

amzq87 · 30/11/2017 15:01

First timer who found out last night after 4 months TTC. Due date 5/8/18.

Nervous/Excited/Happy - all the emotions at the moment! Any tips for a newbie mummy?

haquoi123 · 01/12/2017 06:56

Hi All, congrats on your bfps! Tentatively place marking here. Baby n2, my lo is 22mo. Due on 31st July, but I reckon it’ll be August. 5 weeks preggers and ms is starting to hit

spydie · 01/12/2017 09:05

Hi @haquoi123 my DD is 22 months Smile this is baby no 2 for me too.

cheshcat · 01/12/2017 12:55

I got my bfp this morning and am over the moon! So excited! This will be my second child and due date is 6th August :)

mummadave · 01/12/2017 13:01

Hello, got a bfp on Tuesday after taking a test just to make sure I wasn't pg!
Got a 6m old ds and was on the mini pill so surprise baby!
We are both thrilled tho, just a bit earlier than planned!
Suffered terribly with hg in furthest pg (was sick every single day of my 8m pregnancy!) so fingers crossed it's easier this time round!
Congratulations to everyone else on those bfps!! Xx

StrawberryLemonade · 01/12/2017 15:39

Hi everyone congratulations on the BFP's! mummadave I hope the sickness isn't as bad this time for you! I didn't have HG last time but still felt totally sick and miserable from 6-15 weeks so I'm a bit apprehensive about the next few weeks. Having said that if I don't feel sick I'll be convinced something is wrong so can't win really!

LucyDolly · 01/12/2017 17:54

@mummadave WOW congrats!!! 6months and another on the way you and oh must be super fertile hehe so exciting to have a small gap as they will both grow up close :)

@amzq87 I'm a first timer too! I have been a geek and bought ' what to expect when your expecting' as it quickly dawned on me that I have NO bloody idea what to expect or what to do even! Everyone says books are useless and it comes natural but I'm a worrier so reading it all will help. How old are you? I'm 30 in January.

@cheshcat @haquoi123 Congrats on baby number 2! Your experts at this now heheh any advice for first timers?

LucyDolly · 01/12/2017 17:56

@StrawberryLemonade congrats! Luckily my MS hasn't really started touch wood. Feel odd bit of nausea but mostly just achy and tierd by the afternoon

spydie · 01/12/2017 18:51

@mummadave and @lucydolly big congrats!!

Hope everyone is feeling ok still?

How are you all planning on tackling the Xmas festivities? It's my work Xmas do next week and I don't know what to do... not go (and I don't particularly want to go... Its in London and I have an hours train journey back home) or go and try to not be massively obvious by not drinking. Its a drinks and nibbles event, so wine and beer on offer usually and very limited soft drink options, so I don't think I can even drink something that looks convincing! Confused

YouCantBeSirius · 01/12/2017 19:43

I've had an awful virus for the past few days, until starting to feel like myself again today. I don't drink much alcohol spydie so can't really help there.

Brettgirl · 01/12/2017 20:10

Hi, got my bfp on Wednesday, I'm 38 so quite old lol and this is my first. I'm thrilled and terrified all in one! EDD is 5th August, so very early days, but I want this so badly! Xxx

StrawberryLemonade · 01/12/2017 20:31

HI brettgirl!
spydie thankfully having a toddler my social life is somewhat limited anyway Grin my work night out has been cancelled and I often drive to other events. You can carry a glass of wine around with you casually and keep losing it somewhere maybe!
I'm feeling ok apart from bloated, tired and sore boobs. But I'm usually tired anyway so don't even know if that counts...

mummadave · 01/12/2017 20:42

Strawberry - yes I've got all my fingers and toes crossed it's not as bad this time as I'm not sure how I'll cope if it is! But it was strangely reassuring that all was progressing so I know what you mean!
Lucy - oh is totally letting it go to his head and is very pleased with himself!!

Second year off alcohol at Christmas and new year, going to my uni friend's annual Christmas gathering next weekend so it'll be like dejavous for them!!

spydie · 01/12/2017 21:01

Hi @Brettgirl congrats Flowers

Haha strawberrylemonade I'm not a big socialiser for the same reason (toddler). Just feeling a lot of pressure to go to the damn thing as have a new manager and apparently I won't be very 'teamy' if I don't go Hmm I think I may just say DD is ill Confused we are all a bit sniffy!!

ThatHippyDippyShit · 01/12/2017 23:21

Hi, cautiously joining you all.

Found out I'm pregnant with DC2 Monday. I already have a DD who is 5 months. 😍

Congratulations everyone

babyH3O · 02/12/2017 06:48

Hi all, congratulations on the bfps!

Tentatively marking my place. Baby 3 due 8th Aug. Keeping our news under wraps for now so I'm glad to have you all here!

Symptoms wise - sore boobs, food aversions and strange sleeping pattern already. Haven't suffered too badly with sickness previously so hoping that will apply this time also.

Lauralovely6 · 02/12/2017 07:28

Can I join the group. I'm also tentative as this would be my first. We had a very clear line on the test yesterday. I have also tentatively checked a due date which would be 9th August.

Experiencing sore breasts, waves of nausea (but still eating well) and keep waking up in the night.

I would appreciate any support/advice about dos and don'ts with this being my first.

X

StrawberryLemonade · 02/12/2017 08:50

Hi and congratulations everyone!
Laura if you mean general advice there's a good page on patient.co.uk if you go on there and search pregnancy lifestyle - it's a few pages long all about diet and lifestyle and what vitamins to take etc.

I'm having some mild cramping this morning but had the same in first pregnancy and all was well so fx.

CaffeineDragon · 02/12/2017 13:17

Hello all! I got my BFP yesterday and have taken 3 more and all seem to say 2-3 weeks so here we go!

This will by my 2nd. I gave a 22 month old boy.

Congrats all!
