No - so there's also a chance I'd need blue and pink smarties. Very confusing!

ArkadyRose · 28/11/2017 21:40

I've never done a gender reveal; never had a baby shower, and I don't think I really want to go through the faff of organising a party just to tell people something that I could just as easily post on Facebook or something.

ElizabethLemon · 28/11/2017 22:11

@ClareB83 that would look great too!

We will find out the sex but won’t do a reveal. A friend of mine didn’t find out but her husband did and she didn’t crack once! I would’ve demanded to know on the way home from the scan.

Can’t wait for my 12 weeks, I’ll 12+ 5 two weeks to go!!! Counting down the days. (12th Dec)

So glad I had early scan a 8+6 but feels like forever ago!!!!

Sleeeeeepy · 28/11/2017 22:54

@ClareB83 I saw someone with a big helium balloon full of confetti which they popped to do the reveal (it was pink) You could have a wedding themed one and do it that way, maybe less stressful because you could just order one.

Totally unrelated but is anyone else really bunged up? I've had a couple of colds but I'm pretty much over them, my nose still feels blocked though which isn't helping with the nausea

@emz01 lovely picture

About gender reveal, there are really good ideas online. Unfortunately dp wants to tell his family the gender asap (as this is his first) through pure excitement. So I won't be doing a reveal but my mum said she would like to throw me a baby shower 😊.

@Sleeeeeepy Yes, I've had a cold since half term (courtesy of DD3 who loves to share all her bugs with me) with a nasty cough that just won't go away. I wake up with my nose bunged up each morning - which I could really do without, on top of the morning sickness!

Just popping back on this thread. Lovely to see so many scan photos. I had my scan on Friday last week and all looking good. Baby was wide awake and wriggling a lot! My EDD was brought forward by almost a week so it's 3/6/18 now. And we've finally started telling people which feels like a relief. We told our 2 other DC at the weekend and they are so excited Smile
