@Clareb83 lovely pics. And everyone who has had there 12 week scans.
So glad to see all this good news on the thread. Unfortunately my scan is on the last day possible 13+6. But I did see baby on Tuesday @Epu. All is well.

For anyone suffering with ms I really hope it eases up soon. And I know it might not help but it won't last forever (trying to be positive).

Onwards and upwards ladies bring on second trimesters. This is so exciting🤰🏾

GreggsSausageRolls · 23/11/2017 04:09

Been up for an hour and just had a banana. So tired. Have my scan today so nervous but excited. Have felt a bit detached this pregnancy hopefully this will help it all sink in 😊

ClareB83 · 23/11/2017 07:31

Arrrr @senzaparole03 so glad it was lovely!

And @GreggsSausageRolls it will definitely make it all feel more real. First time we saw our babies they waved and jiggled their legs at us and I can still see it!

jemk83 · 24/11/2017 18:50

Thanks for the kind words! I think I may have to try the gp again next week as I’m really struggling! I’m getting panicky that it’s not going to pass after 12 weeks as that’s all I’m holding onto right now!

Mummyloves09 · 27/11/2017 00:22

Hey ladies,

I hope you are well or feeling better than you did before.

Has anyone been having constant lower abdominal pain almost like period pain. I have for the last 8 days. I'm 12+6

ClareB83 · 27/11/2017 09:56

Hi @Mummyloves09, I've had a variety of funny feelings and pains. Sometimes very mild cramp like feeling in lower abdomen. Some shooting pains all around the stomach that I think are round ligament pain and most recently pain in my right thigh/hip.

So not quite the same as you but I think I've read cramping is quite normal. I think I'd only stress if it really hurt.

ElizabethLemon · 27/11/2017 11:06

@Mummyloves09 I’ve had all sorts of aches and pains. Sometimes a kind of lower tummy/back ache like you describe and then I get random stabbing/shootings pains all over every now and again. I’m finding if I bend/stretch a lot I get a bit achy too.

As Clare says I think it’s normal, when you think about all that’s going on inside of your body it’s not surprising that it gets a bit sore.

Korez · 27/11/2017 15:47

Hi Mummylove
I've had aches consistently.... very worry... when it stopped for a day I got even more worried..!! I've spoken to friends who had very similar pregnancies so try not to worry...

A bit of good news to share.. I had my 12 week scan today and all looks good... despite a jumpy baby...which freaked me a little to start with...

Any guesses if a girl or a boy?

Lulu298 · 27/11/2017 17:24

Congrat korez! I'm guessing girl based on no scientific evidence at all!

We had our 12 week scan today too. There is a baby in there (phew!) and it has a heartbeat - yay! But they couldn't do the combined test as the baby wasn't lying in the right position. So now wondering whether to tell people or not, book a private combined test or wait for the Quad test the NHS are going to book me in for. Anyone else been to their 12 week scan and not been able to get the combined test done? Feeling a bit confused...

Ilovechocolatetoomuch · 27/11/2017 17:29

Great news about your 12 week scans :) I've had some shocking tummy pains I think alot is very trapped wind!
Still got two weeks till my scan ( 10 days to be exact) it is going sloooooooow slowly.

ClareB83 · 27/11/2017 17:56

@Ilovechocolatetoomuch trapped wind can be so uncomfortable. I got some deflatine as it's safe while pregnant. Helped me in weeks 4-6 when I had bad wind.

Sleeeeeepy · 27/11/2017 18:12

@Mummyloves09 It's normal, just the muscles and ligaments stretching out. Totally freaked me out last time but there's nothing wrong. If you think about how much your body is changing it's not surprising really.

Congrats on the scan @Korez I'm guessing a girl too.

Told my boss today, I was dreading it because I've only been there four months. She was surprisingly lovely so feeling massively relieved!

Alice0906 · 27/11/2017 18:45

Another happy couple here. Everything looked fine, which was a huge relief. The nuchal translucency was in the normal range, but we have to wait upto 2 weeks for the results from the blood test. Our baby was very chilled out, just stretching and waving its arms a bit. :) Now we can finally tell people! And I need to join the Facebook group!
EDD is now 3 days earlier than before, 6th June.

@Alice0906 I think your baby is whistling 😙!

usernamegoeshere · 27/11/2017 19:57

Glad to see so many good scans!!

I've been overdoing it at work today and Friday but thankfully the project I'm doing is pretty much done! I'm very achey and tired though and so so bloated!!

Otherwise though I'm feeling a lot better this last week at 13+3 and my sickness is pretty much gone and I have a lot more energy in general, hopefully this will last!

Mummyloves09 · 27/11/2017 21:31

Thanks ladies it's strange first pregnancy there was no aches or pains that were noticeable. I dunno why I keep thinking the worse.

So glad to see more good news on the chat with all these 12 week scans and everything is going well with the little beans. Lovely pics guys 😊

I dunno about anyone else but I'm showing. If I wear the tight jumper you can clearly tell I'm pregnant.

My scan isn't until Monday and it feels like forever.

ClareB83 · 28/11/2017 07:55

Has anyone felt their babies move yet? I know it's early. I'm 13+4. But I really think I felt them moving last night. I felt two little flutters before making dinner and then sat down afterwards I felt quite a few more, followed by occasional ones up until bed.

It felt like bubbles/flutters and not like anything else I've felt before.

I did wonder if you felt twins earlier, but I haven't seen anything to support that theory.

3 weeks and 1 day until I get to see them again Grin

17caterpillars1mouse · 28/11/2017 09:20

I didn't feel dd until 22 weeks however I have felt a few glitters the last few days. I'm 14 weeks but keep telling myself it's too early but do wonder

Mummyloves09 · 28/11/2017 09:43

Can someone make a new thread and link it as we are nearly at 1000. I would have tried but I'm rubbish with things like this.

backformore · 28/11/2017 17:52

@Mummyloves09 If I'm wearing a regular fitted t-shirt, you can tell with me, too. For the most part it's been cold enough here that I've been able to keep covered up in parka/winter coat!

It feels too early to be looking for maternity jeans, but every evening now I heave such a sigh of relief when I can finally get into my pjs! Was hoping I'd last at least until January, but perhaps not...

usernamegoeshere · 28/11/2017 19:18

I'm thinking of buying some maternity bits this week, it's not bump (can just about feel uterus coming up but it's not big) it's just bloat! No matter how much I drink I'm just thirsty and retaining water.

Emz01 · 28/11/2017 19:19

Had my 12 week scan today and so relieved to say everything went really well. EDD brought forward to 6/6 so 13 weeks tomorrow!

Korez · 28/11/2017 19:42

Congrats Emz... :)

Has anyone thought about doing a Gender reveal party? I'm thinking about planning one the week after my Jan scan... but I don't know if I could cope not knowing for a week or so ..!!

ClareB83 · 28/11/2017 20:24

No @Korez I hadn't been planning a gender reveal party...but I have been toying with the idea of putting coloured smarties inside our wedding cake and cutting it open to reveal the gender. So I would know, we'd be revealing to our guests. (I'll be 22 weeks on our wedding day.)

But realistically I think a) we'll have blurted it out by then and b) I'll have enough to organise.

ElizabethLemon · 28/11/2017 20:54

@ClareB83 are your twins identical?
