Just marking my place on the new thread. I'm not getting hot flushes during the day but I woke up in a sweat during the night. Normally I never overheat, but I'm boiling at night.

xxmissbrightsidexx · 14/10/2017 11:09

I need to stop peeing on sticks, just done my last one and i thought the line looked a bit fainter than yesterday, so obviously im convincing myself its all going wrong Confused

pulpi · 14/10/2017 11:33

Thanks for starting the new thread!

7 weeks here and it’s been over 2 days since I’ve been able to keep food down. I’m living on ginger tea and buttered toast. Ugh.

Hope the rest of you ladies are feeling better than me!

Ponderfully · 14/10/2017 11:33

Hope you don't mind me joining in. 4 weeks pregnant! I had an ectopic pregnancy before so I'm desperate for a scan. Does anybody know how early they can scan me? Just to make sure it's in the right place.
Congratulations everyone.

CuppaSarah · 14/10/2017 11:40

Missbrightside I've just done the exact same thing. DH won't let me buy anymore, but I'm convinced the super faint line is nothing to do with the fact it was diluted mid morning wee and not fmu, but becuase everything is going wrong.

Really trying hard not to buy more pee sticks. 7 positive tests in 24 hours is surely plenty.

Mummyloves09 · 14/10/2017 11:48

@CuppaSarah I'm sure with 7 Bfp your are pregnant. Congratulations Smile and welcome new comers Smile

xxmissbrightsidexx · 14/10/2017 11:51

Omg CuppaSarah exactly the same here lol my bathroom bin is full to the brim with tests and OH would go nuts if he saw them all, i cant help it though x i really shouldnt buy anymore now, its not helping my anxiety at all, going to try sit tight and wait for the midwife to get in touch with me x

IrnBruCraver · 14/10/2017 12:04

Morning all. Or afternoon. I am still in bed. Feeling very poorly still after an episode of agony in the night (can only take my new meds before food so it can't save me from nighttime episodes) got my wristbands on and DH has brought me breakfast in bed. 6 weeks today. Got our early scan next weekend.

Lorz80 · 14/10/2017 12:08

Hey! Just marking my spot! :-) hope everyone is as well as they can be today! Happy weekend!! X

thinpigeon · 14/10/2017 12:13

Can I join too please? Bit cautious of getting too excited at this early stage but it's hard to keep a lid on it. I'm due 14th June I think, if my maths is right. I've had to tell work already due to adjustments that need to be made straight away for H&S. Colleagues are so excited for us which is lovely but then makes it more difficult not to tell anyone else!

teaortequila23 · 14/10/2017 12:22

Hey all and congratulations to you all!

Just found out last week I'm pregnant and due 10th June 2018 with baby#3.
My DD will be 4 and DS 2 and a half we have told her and she's very excited told my MIL as DH couldn't hold it in for more then a few hours lol.
But everyone else can wait till after my scan.
I can't believe it's happening!
Yay!

CuppaSarah · 14/10/2017 12:29

missbrightside NO MORE PEE STICKS FOR A FULL WEEK. WE CAN DO THIS!!

probably......

I can't wait for morning sickness...as long as it's mild like my previous pregnancies.

Sictransitgloria · 14/10/2017 12:48

Just pinning myself on here :) been getting nausea in the mornings now but nothing too horrendous. Hoping I don't get too sicky!

IrnBruCraver · 14/10/2017 12:59

So mad at DH. I'm im bed unable to stomach anything but I get a hankering for a burger so he goes and says the queue is too big. So I say instant mash and he goes but says they haven't got any. I tell him to ask as I'm sure they have but he won't. So he's just gone off to watch the football. My team against his. I really hope mine whups his team's arse for this. Angry

SulkyPuddleDuck · 14/10/2017 13:10

Saying hello in new thread. In Marbella at the moment, freaked myself out this morning as I'm 5w today and CBD still said 2-3 :( Any reassuring stories of experiencing this?

Welcome to all new BFPs!

GreggsSausageRolls · 14/10/2017 13:20

Marking place.

In bed trying to squeeze in a nap before I take dc to a birthday party.

Standard behaviour at the minute from me 😄

UnicornDust17 · 14/10/2017 13:22

@sulkypuddleduck if it makes you feel any better I'm 5+1 and that's what my clear blue said yesterday.

Caspiana · 14/10/2017 13:23

@sulkypuddleduck I also got very upset when I had a 2-3 over a week after my first 2-3. I’ve since had a scan at 6+6 and all is well - it doesn’t mean anything!

Firstly you might have ovulated a day or two later than thought? Secondly your urine might have been more dilute as you’ve been drinking more fluid. And thirdly everyone has different levels of HCG and these tests are only an estimate!

I did loads of research when I had my second 2-3 test and general consensus is these things are more trouble than they’re worth as they’re misleading and worry people! Try not to worry.

Sictransitgloria · 14/10/2017 13:41

The CB digital is correct. It's saying 2-3 weeks since you concieved but your pregnancy is calculated from your last period :) so yes, corrected from lmp it's 5-6 weeks

Bunnyears85 · 14/10/2017 15:22

Ignore CB weeks tests. There is SO much online about how inaccurate they are and midwives are campaigning to ban them due to all women having different levels of HCG naturally. I know as I did a load of research last week as I was terrified after doing three of them! Bin them and save your sanity!

Yay new thread!

Welcome and congratulations all the new people!!

Those digital weeks indicators are horrible, I got myself into a right tizz over them. Basically pee'd on £26 worth in one day to get a 3+ They just prey on pregnant women's anxietys.

Rsian26 · 14/10/2017 18:42

Second baby! EDD 14 June.
I also had pre eclampsia and hellp syndrome as well as a very premature birth. (3 months early!)

I'm so nervous as to how this pregnancy will go. I'm constantly grabbing my boobs to check they are still sore. Getting sharp pains when I get up suddenly from sofa/bed in both sides and sometimes mild period like pain but no bleeding. I'm guessing this is everything start to stretch/move and bubs is nestling in and growing nicely I hope.

Booked in for initial midwife on 16th November that seems a long wait and my anxiety is through roof because of how my first pregnancy went. Me and my son are extremely lucky to be here

Fox23 · 14/10/2017 18:49

Evening ladies,
Hope you don't mind if I join you. I'm 36 and after ivf am 6w5d pregnant with my first. After calculations I'm due first week June, but hopefully will find out more during my first scan on 23rd.
So, to even get to this point is a massive achievement for me. Hopefully with your help and shared advice this journey will not be as scary.. 🙂
I have been incredibly tired, my boobs have doubled in size and I get annoyed very quickly, but no morning sickness. Is that normal? Also this morning, I noticed tiny brown blood stain on the tissue. Hasn't appeared since, but that scared me... any Ideas?

LJFM2B · 14/10/2017 18:57

Hello everyone. Could I join the Facebook group. Like everybody else I'm keeping this a top secret until the 12 weeks xx

UnicornDust17 · 14/10/2017 18:58

@Rsian26 my DS was also a prem (10 weeks)... My EDD is 14th too... Congrats....
