I got a baby monitor in the Amazon deals today - although it's a gift from my grandparents that I ordered for them in order to save them money. They would've bought it in a shop and I couldn't have them paying full price.

Didn't see anything else worth while though. Was a bit pants for actual deals this year really!

MissYeti · 25/11/2017 15:39

Mums still adamant I'm not allowed to buy any big stuff, have bought quite a few clothes in 0-3 and 3-6 months now though. Will leave the rest for fam cuz we're pretty sure we're gonna get a butt tonne of stuff for nugget for christmas

Aspenn17 · 25/11/2017 18:26

I was doing so well until about 8pm and then my best friend sent me a couple of Amazon links and I gave in. 🤦🏼‍♀️ I got a baby monitor and also a breast pump. Neither were cheap but they were both literally half price and they were the brands I knew I would end up buying anyway. Which monitor did you go for MrsD?

MrsDneedsaB · 25/11/2017 22:03

@Aspenn17 We went for the Motorola something...it's video one. I already had it in my shopping list but then it was half price on Amazon for £69.99 so couldn't resist when you know it's over £100 normally!

harrietm87 · 26/11/2017 10:20

I haven't bought a single thing yet! Really because we've just moved into a doer upper which is a total building site atm so (a) have no money and (b) nowhere to store anything that won't get it covered in dust! After 3mcs also a bit superstitious about it.

I'm hoping the jan sales will sort me out! 21 weeks today.

olicat · 26/11/2017 17:19

I'm waiting til January to get my big stuff too. I have contented myself with buying a couple of small bits though.

19+1 now, so excited to be 20 weeks and halfway! Scan in 10 days time 😁 quite envious of everyone due in early April who are a couple of weeks ahead!

olicat · 26/11/2017 17:20

Also I love when another month thread comes up (August has just been started) as it means we're a month on!

Sunshinesaz86 · 26/11/2017 18:12

oli I also like watching the new groups appear 😬😊 Just means we're getting that bit closer!

I'm getting regular daily movements now at 21+3 which is very reassuring. No MW app until 2nd week of jan (apart from bloody colposcopy 😩). So at least I know baby is active 😬.

Hope everyone's had a good weekend x x

Parney · 26/11/2017 22:43

@MrsD is it a Motorola summer? We have it and I love it. Paid 150 euro for it so you got a great deal!

MrsDneedsaB · 27/11/2017 10:46

Erm I'm not sure @Parney...it doesn't have a name just a model number. It's this one....

I just liked the fact it's got a nice big LCD screen and shows the room temperature. Also has polyphonic lullabies 😂 so baby can feel like a Nokia 3310 is singing it to sleep haha

Nearly a full thread! Hello again ladies, I've not checked in for a long long while - since thread 1 actually Blush
22 weeks today - scan two weeks ago Smile

Sunshinesaz86 · 27/11/2017 15:59

We've got that one for DS1 mrs but it's not a lullaby one (or I certainly don't think it is) it's been fantastic!

Congrats yorkie great scan pic x x

Parney · 27/11/2017 16:05

That looks like ours @MrsD, it does so much! You can move the camera from the parent control and talk to baby etc., the wide screen is perfect! @Yorkie what sweet pics! The foot!

Aspenn17 · 27/11/2017 17:37

Congrats Yorkie! That's the one we ordered too MrsD 👍🏼

Had a stressful day. I caught our estate agent lying to me about a viewing which I know never happened so had to go in and confront him, he lied to me on the phone and again to my face and now we are attempting to terminate the contract. Argh.

MrsDneedsaB · 27/11/2017 18:15

Argh no Aspenn what an absolute pain!! Estate agents are sneaky f*ckers! Not what you need when you're pregnant and this time of year!

Just found out that a bloke at works' wife is pregnant and due at the end of March! Literally a week between us. There's something in the water at my work as two have had babies this month and three are due over the next 5 months - crazy!

Do we want to start a new thread and post a link in this one so we don't lose anyone this time? We are almost at 999 posts.

FairfaxAikman · 27/11/2017 18:43

Someone at my hobby has just announced she's pregnant and another woman gave birth a couple of months ago.
It means we are one person short of a junior team Grin

YorkieDorkie · 27/11/2017 20:45

Thanks everyone! MrsD that looks very swanky! Mine is so basic, well we made it basic. It has a movement sensor which I immediately removed as it was so annoying! It's down okay for the last couple of years Smile

Whymustyoubringinthebirds · 28/11/2017 07:30
