Hi everyone, hope you don't mind me joining according to the due date calculator I'm 6 weeks & due 29th April. Been very anxious and stressy past couple of days as I hadn't felt any cramps since Sunday evening but I think I've felt things going on down there today plus no bleeding. Breast soreness seems to be on and off, haven't had any nausea since week after missed period but my forehead has broken out in spots. Haven't heard anything from a midwife although my doctor does know and said he would do my referral. Congratulations to you all!

Parney · 05/09/2017 16:50

Hi just found the new thread. I need to catch up! 10+3 here and I've been given an appointment next week during work hours so I'm going to have to tell work? The letter said a scan date will follow so I could potentially need two days next week alone.

fitbitbore · 05/09/2017 17:11

William let slip that Kate is apparently 11 weeks pregnant!!!

She may be in this group 😂😱😱😱

stellaaaaaa · 05/09/2017 17:18

Hi everyone, thought it was about time I joined this thread since I'd been lurking on the old one for ages. Currently 9+3 with my first and generally feeling awful! Really been struggling with sickness and nausea, hoping for an improvement soon. Had my booking in appointment last week and the midwife didn't seem too concerned so must be pretty standard. Just trying to get through these next few weeks, can't wait to get my scan date through! Keep toying with the idea of a private one but seems like a slippery slope! Hope everyone's feeling well today Smile

Poppyandpeaches · 05/09/2017 18:29

I am so tired today and have barely eaten a thing. Think I might just give up and go to bed! I have been working from home but feel like I need to show face in the office tomorrow - dreading the early start and commute!

boatrace30 · 05/09/2017 18:41

No scan date here @MrsDneedsaB and I'm 10weeks today. Very annoying as work need notice but a bit hopeful it will be on my day off.

@Parney , you can always tell work you have a "hospital appointment" but if you are likely to tell them after the 12week scan then maybe it's easier to tell them. And in a worst case scenario you might need time off too so would maybe tell them?

My scans on the 20th. Will be 12 weeks exactly!

Crapbags · 05/09/2017 20:45

Hi all

I have my scan on the 25th Sept....can't wait haven't had an early scan so will be the first time seeing what's going on!

I'm 10+3 and symptoms are definitely easing although they re-appear out of the blue every so often it's then I realise how much better I was feeling!

Has anyone had blood tests yet? I was told when booking in over the phone that they would send a form for me to go and get the tests done before seeing the midwife but I've not received anything yet The midwife is coming to me on the 15th.....is that the norm now for midwife to home visit?

Heard about Kate and Wills having their 3rd (I'm also on DC3) wonder if she's on this thread?!Grin Hi Kate

WhyTheHeckMe · 05/09/2017 20:57

Hi everyone! Thought we'd gone quiet then realised we maxed out on the other thread. Hope you're all feeling okay!

MrsDneedsaB · 05/09/2017 21:09

@Crap I had my blood tests in my midwife appointment. She took 6 vials of blood and I don't do well with needles ConfusedBlush

boatrace30 · 05/09/2017 21:20

@Crapbags - I think it is fairly normal for the booking appointment to be at home. Though mine wasn't!

Morning ladies! I thought it got unusually quiet yesterday! Midwife appointment is this Morning, don't know when but I'm looking forward to it! Its starting to feel real now that I've had my scan.

starsshinebright · 06/09/2017 09:34

I had some bright red bleeding and cramping yesterday. It's eased off over night but going into EPU at 10.30.

Poppyandpeaches · 06/09/2017 09:42

Aw @starshine hope all ok

MrsDneedsaB · 06/09/2017 09:44

Hope everything is ok @starsshinebright Flowers

fitbitbore · 06/09/2017 10:27

@starsshinebright thinking of you!!! Pregnancy is so bloody stressful!!!

Sam91TRS15 · 06/09/2017 10:51

starshine I have my fingers crossed for you. Xx

harrietm87 · 06/09/2017 11:20

Oh starshine thinking of you. Hope it all goes well.

And thanks so much for all your good wishes . Had my scan this morning and everything is fine - measuring 9 weeks with a good heartbeat. Phew.

MrsDneedsaB · 06/09/2017 12:01

Great news @harrietm87 Grin what a relief!

WhyTheHeckMe · 06/09/2017 12:56

@starshine how did you get on? Hope all is okay.
I'm 7 weeks tomorrow and feeling really crampy and tearful. Felt like this before my mc so I'm really struggliing not to worry :(

olicat · 06/09/2017 13:27

Starshine really hope all ok.

Harriet - great news, so pleased!

heck it's so hard not to worry about everything but so much of the time cramping is normal. I'm getting it on and off most days, putting it down to everything stretching and changing shape etc. X

Aspenn17 · 06/09/2017 14:38

Thanks for all your kind words everyone, feeling a little more positive today. It's been a real help to be able to talk to you all about it a bit, DH doesn't seem to be sad about it, just totally focused on the healthy baby, which is what I'm trying to do but I'm still thinking about what could have been. @JammyC that is very reassuring thank you! Got my midwife appt next week so going to ask her lots of questions then and then hopefully I can move past it a little. I booked another scan for piece of mind in 2 wks (so I will be 9 weeks) then got my NHS one through for the first week in October. Telling our parents this weekend so excited for that 🙂

Good luck with the scan @harriet! Anyone else struggling with the exhaustion? I'm really struggling at work and I'm maid of honour on Saturday which will be a very long day, worried I'm going to vom in the church/in the car/on my dress!!

boatrace30 · 06/09/2017 14:40

@starsshinebright - hope all is okay.
@WhyTheHeckMe - I've had quite a lot of cramping on and off, it is normal.

Scan date through this morning, 20th Sept when I will be 12+1 so quite pleased!

Hey everyone! Got my first appointment with the midwife on Saturday, I'm excited but also nervous don't know why not sure exactly what to expect. The letter says I need details of my weight but I have no idea and don't have scales & also to bring a urine sample but they didn't send a container.
