Congrats @mamasiz, hope the new home is wonderful!

FuzzyOwl · 30/07/2017 21:26

I think I am beyond the hairband trick and am just wearing long vests so I can undo my jeans and leave them undone! I've also found bras are too tight for me now and I have to undo them as well. Luckily I am flat chested!

Only symptoms I seem to have now is tiredness but my toddler has only just gone to sleep and my baby is still wide awake. It is times like this I wonder why I want a third!!

SheSaidHeSaid · 30/07/2017 21:29

Some of my clothes are definitely too tight now. Damn carb cravings and bloat.

I bought a couple of cheap non-underwired bras from Primark for £5 each and they're so bloomin comfortable. If I can help it I won't buy specific maternity clothes as they seem to be more expensive than normal clothes in bigger sizes.

Sounds like I need to make a trip to Primark. Not sure where the nearest one to me is but I can find one.

Elbi · 31/07/2017 06:46

Sounds like I need a trip to Primark too! Really want a soft bra I can sleep in - I have fairly big boobs as it is but now it's just getting silly. Last night I got one trapped in my armpit and the pain woke me up...! Classy. So any recommendations gratefully received.

TeaAndPjs · 31/07/2017 07:56

Think I'll have to use the hair tie trick soon as can feel my jeans getting tighter but nexy size up wpuld be too big.

I have my follow up scan later today! Hopi g for the best but prepared for the worst

Countdowntofour · 31/07/2017 08:32

Good luck @teaandpjs!

I think I need a primark trip but all my girls will want to come which means double the expense lol. And the bras don't go up to my size 😣

Flatwhite31 · 31/07/2017 08:46

Morning ladies! No need for new bras for me just yet. My boobs feel fuller, but are still small! I'm actually looking forward to them getting bigger, lol.
@TeaAndPjs good luck today! Will be thinking of you.
9 days to go until my booking appointment. I feel bad that I'm wishing time away!

Doublegloucester · 31/07/2017 08:51

Booking in appt for me today, hurrah!

mamasiz · 31/07/2017 09:30

Thankyou @Excited1203 - woke up to the boiler not working and no hot water but hey ho!

catg83 · 31/07/2017 09:39

Morning all. Been absent for a week. Silly toddler/work/sleep occupying my internet time!

Had a letter from the GP about a whopping cough vaccine to have later on but no news about booking in apt. Will just have to cross fingers it comes soon.

FuzzyOwl · 31/07/2017 09:42

Thinking of you today @TeaAndPjs

whyhastherumgone · 31/07/2017 09:55

Congrats on the move @mamasiz

i'm so tired today. And typically have a really busy day. DH also came into the room to find me worriedly poking my boobs this morning because they didn't feel as sore as usual and the look on his face was quite funny - he looked completedly baffled until i explained. Decided to try not to worry about it.

Good luck to every who has scans/appointments etc today!

Elbi · 31/07/2017 09:56

Good luck Teaandpjs and whereyousleep - hope all goes well today.

Stuckinstressville · 31/07/2017 10:17

Am about to call up the hosp midviwss to find out about booking. My gp said it was faster if I self referred.... but I am
Nearly 8 weeks ! Need coffee but being good!

whereareyousleep · 31/07/2017 10:25

Scan went really well only 1 there which is great saw a heartbeat dated at 7w3days. But she said as there is a 5 day margin of error to stay at my dates until dating scan so I'm sticking with 8 weeks as don't want to go backwards lol.

FuzzyOwl · 31/07/2017 10:35

Brilliant news @whereareyousleep

Excited1203 · 31/07/2017 10:49

@whyhastherumgone - hahaha, boobs are useful at this point aren't they! I had a little wail on my partner this morning in bed that all my symptoms were gone, then "yowch", "see, sore boobs, you're fine"'. He also reminded me that I had some nausea near somebody vaping yesterday. I tried another comment later and got another prod, with "SORE BOOBIES!!" yelled back at me as he wandered off.

@mamasiz - Did you try switching it off and on again? Plus setting the thermostat to constant.

@whereareyousleep - congrats, how wonderful!

Good luck @Tea&PJs and @DoubleGloucester.

@Stressville - maybe you can call your luck midwife centre as soon as you complete the referral form. If you explain about the twin and that you need urgent help, maybe they'll prioritise seeing you early.

Excited1203 · 31/07/2017 10:50
  • local midwife centre, not luck.
whyhastherumgone · 31/07/2017 10:55

haha Excited have you had it where yours have been less sore for a bit? Mine have only been tender anyway but today they feel a bit better and as hit six weeks at the weekend and that's when it all stopped before i am obviously massively paranoid. theyre still tender but only in certain places now and have to poke a bit harder. (standing here poking as i type)

whyhastherumgone · 31/07/2017 10:55

@whereareyousleep amazing news!

Excited1203 · 31/07/2017 11:11

@whyhastherumgone - it came and went the first few weeks, but since I hit week 7 it's got worse (I'm 8 wks today). Nausea has got quite a bit better since I finished the antibiotics, which worries me.

KerryLeanne84 · 31/07/2017 12:02

Elbi sorry to say I'm sat here chuckling about your boob getting stuck! I had 32F boobs before getting pregnant so god knows what's going to happen to me!

I bought a primark size 16 denim skirt to accommodate growth (with a belly band) - it fits pretty well though what with all the carbs and bloating!

Flatwhite31 · 31/07/2017 12:19

Fab news @whereareyousleep! Smile

I'm having one of those days where I'm really hungry, but every time I think of what to eat for lunch, I feel sick! Got the dentist later. Will have to tell them I'm pregnant anyway, so hopefully they will be understanding if I start gagging!

catg83 · 31/07/2017 12:28

@flatwhite31 remember you get dentistry free now too. Always a bonus!
