No discharge at all since the tiniest amount (that most people probably wouldn't even have noticed in the first place) and I feel a bit symptomy today, which is the best way I can describe it. So, all in all, I am feeling quite positive again but thanks for hearing my worries yesterday - it really helped.

Hope you get your meds Zyla.

If anyone else wants to join the secret Facebook group - just send me a PM with the email address you use to log on and I can add you.

On the weeks indicator - it says here

uk.clearblue.com/clearblue-pregnancy-tests-range/digital-pregnancy-test-with-weeks-indicator

that they're about 93% accurate, but since HGC levels in different weeks vary from women to women, "the weeks indicator might occasionally give misleading results"

KitKat2891 · 28/07/2017 12:06

Just got my booking in appt. Initially I was booked in for the 12th, but we're away (irrationally cross about going on holiday with friends now!) so it's not til the 19th which feels like a lifetime away!
I know it won't affect my scan date, but honestly, the waiting is torture!
Time for some chocolate to make it all better!

whyhastherumgone · 28/07/2017 12:12

Think I'll join the FB group when I've had a scan...

Hope you're feeling a bit better today @FuzzyOwl - anyone just wishing the time away at the moment?

Got my booking appointment through for the 11th August, and thinking about booking a private scan on the 10th as we have all the family over that weekend, but going to see how I feel nearer the time.

Think I'm about 6 weeks today - or tomorrow - I didn't mark down the date of my last period helpfully so I'm not 100% - and so far no sickness still. Really tired though and my boobs are getting more tender, I've also still got the insomnia although last night I think I was just so exhausted, I actually managed to sleep for five hours straight.

Today I've woken up with a kind of twinge down the right-hand side of my back which is making me nervous as it was 6 weeks that everything stopped last time. Hoping it's just mind over matter or stretching pains!

Hope everyone is OK today?

SheSaidHeSaid · 28/07/2017 13:13

I wasn't going to join the fb group till my 12 week scan but now I've had a good scan and seen a strong heartbeat I think I will Smile

I'll (hopefully!) join the FB group when I've had my 12 week scan. @whyhastherumgone I know what you mean about wishing time away. Normally I wouldn't (no teacher ever wishes the holidays away!) but I just want the 12 week scan to be here!

Countdowntofour · 28/07/2017 13:40

Afternoon lovely ladies. Well yesterday I had my booking app, that took about 90mins. Then Monday I have an app to pick up a blood sugar monitor, as I'm type 2 diabetic. Then next thurs I have a viability scan (I'll be 9 weeks, anyone know if it'll be stomach or transvaginal?) And a diabetic mw app straight after. Phew. Think I'm gunna be busy this preg 😐 it's tricky too cuz my 3 girls are on school hols so everything has to be secret!!!

SheSaidHeSaid · 28/07/2017 13:51

I imagine it'll be abdominal, Countdown as I had abdominal at 6+2 weeks and 7+1.

Countdowntofour · 28/07/2017 14:17

Thanks @shesaid 😊 I hope so!! I don't really want a scan cuz it's scary..but obv necessary.

Excited1103 · 28/07/2017 14:23

Today is a very happy day for me. The UTI infection seems to have been what made me so ridiculously tired. I'm still a bit tired, but I don't have that completely overwhelming exhaustion that had me stuck to the couch (anyone with late booking in appt might want to get their GP to do a test if you're exhausted). The Fybogel sachets have also relieved my constipation, so my bloating is much reduced (also seriously recommended for anyone suffering). Insanely sore boobs and very slight occasional nausea today I'm taking as a pleasant reminder that the little pickle is in there, hopefully growing. So I'm feeling very lucky. Hope for the same for everyone else.

Flatwhite31 · 28/07/2017 14:25

Bless you @Excited1103, glad you're feeling better. Did you have any symptoms of a UTI? I'm ridiculously exhausted today. Have only left the house to have a routine blood test done. All I want to do is lie down. God knows what I'd be like if I was working (school summer hols thankfully).

Excited1103 · 28/07/2017 14:35

@Flatwhite - not that I was aware of, though it seems clear in hindsight that my exhaustion was in part caused by that. My midwife said it's common if you have constipation for a few weeks, which I had. She found it with the routine urine test picking up nitrates.

Fefifoefum · 28/07/2017 15:42

Hi ladies, I had my booking appt this morning, although no urine, no bloods? Just a form filling exercise, midwife was lovely but I had just finished a night shift and she just kept being like, oh you can read this!
However 12w scan booked for the 31st of august Grin feels real now!

And secretly really happy as I'm about plump not to have a BMI over 30 as then would of been high risk I think Confused, she must of seen the relief on my face when she calculated my bmi.

FuzzyOwl · 28/07/2017 15:46

Yay, just got a 3+ reading on the Clearblue test. Will not be doing any other tests now. Feel very relieved though and joining the others in wishing away the rest of the first trimester. Will ring and arrange my booking in appointment now. Grin

@Countdowntofour I think they will try abdominal first of all and are if they can see what they need to that way. It could also depend a little on your uterus - mine tilts backwards so I always have to have internal scans in the first trimester.

Lovely post to read @Excited1103

1000jobstodo · 28/07/2017 15:55

After my bleeding which turned into spotting and awful cramps, I went to my scan today with about 10% hope. I asked to not see the screen and convinced myself it was awful news.
But, all is fine! Saw a heartbeat, and little wriggling blob looked OK. I'm only 6+1 by size so a few days behind what I thought.
So new edd is 22nd March.
I have never held my breath for as long as I did then.
Oh and I had the dildo cam Smile it's massive but I remembered that it's..full length wouldn't be used.. Blush
I am utterly relieved. My poor dog is getting worse but I can now concentrate on him.

I'm so sorry stumbly my heart goes out to you. Look after yourself. Your honeymoon sounds bloody amazing!

Countdowntofour · 28/07/2017 16:20

@fuzzy thanks for your reply!! Id obv rather the abdominal scan so hoping all is good that way (and I'm general, I'm anxious!). Exciting that you're getting the ball rolling, all starts to become real now doesn't it!!

@1000jobs dildocam 😂 glad your scan went well!! Did you go with full bladder? My mw wasn't sure 😕

BlueeSpottyTiger · 28/07/2017 16:22

fuzzy yay! 🤗
1000 aww that's great news.. I'm so pleased for you! Hehe dildo cam! X

Oh i have been really confused why my edd was different although i was the same weeks as other ladies. I had miscalculated so I'm 2days a head of where i thought so I'm 7w today not sunday. And i know that it's not even accurate until the dating scan but i feel pleased lol

FuzzyOwl · 28/07/2017 16:37

@1000jobstodo what brilliant news!

Excited1103 · 28/07/2017 17:18

@FuzzyOwl - that's great. Now you really must step away from those tests. All the way. Keep going.

@1000jobs - congratulations, what a relief that must be for you! Hope your dog is OK, somewhere I missed what's wrong with him/her?

Elbi · 28/07/2017 17:24

Hi all - may I join in? I already know some of you from the JS fred waves

I think I'm 6+5 (am another one with endometriosis so know when I ovulate!). And I've had weird results with the Clearblue week predictor too. Haven't tested again since I got a 2-3 on Monday.

The NHS calculator reckons I'm due 18 March but who knows! First meeting with midwife next Thurs (going to have to blag that with work). Hope you're all getting on ok. So sorry to those going through bad times Flowers

whyhastherumgone · 28/07/2017 17:35

@1000jobstodo hooray! Amazing news, I had a little sad moment when I read you'd asked not to see the screen, then was so pleased it turned out positively for you! Brilliant to see some happy news.
Still thinking of the ladies who have suffered losses and hope they're doing as well as can be expected.

Also Grin at dildo cam, I'm going to snigger like a 12 year old if they bring that out when I go in for a private scan now.

@blueespottytiger ah excellent! You've jumped a couple of days :D

Flatwhite31 · 28/07/2017 17:48

Ah that's great news @1000jobstodo . Smile

Welcome and congratulations @Elbi!

Waves back at @Elbi

I won't be going anywhere near anymore now Excited.

Flatwhite31 · 28/07/2017 18:07

Can I just ask what everyone is eating? I've turned into such a fussy eater, which is a complete 360 as I am normally not fussy at all and absolutely love cooking new dishes.

All I seem to want is pasta, pizza, breaded fish, chips, and any form of salted carb. I've been better with my fruit and veg the past few days by blending my own fresh fruit smoothies in the mornings, and making butternut squash soup for lunch. I have completely gone off veg on its own though (bizarre!) so only eating veggies in soup or mixed in with a sauce. I really hope this passes as I can't help but feel that this limited diet is not doing baby any good! Have tried eating food I don't want, but I just gag and bring it back up.
