That sounds perfect for the circumstances stumbly. I couldn't believe how exhausted I felt when I had a mc. Lots of hours in bed and cancel the world for a while.

Countdowntofour · 27/07/2017 13:42

Stumbly I'm sorry to hear your news, your afternoon sounds calm and what id be doing in your shoes. Definitely plan lots of outrageous honeymoon activities, and have a lovely time. X

Flatwhite31 · 27/07/2017 13:48

Really sorry to hear your news @stumblymonkeyagain. Where are you going on honeymoon? Xx

TeaAndPjs · 27/07/2017 13:49

So sorry stumbly take good care of yourself

stumblymonkeyagain · 27/07/2017 13:52

We're going on a luxury safari followed by nine nights in Mauritius in May Smile

whyhastherumgone · 27/07/2017 13:54

@stumblymonkeyagain I'm so so so sorry stumbly, I was really hoping for good news :( take care of yourself - your plan for the rest of today/evening sounds perfect. If you want any further practical advice PM me - there were certain things I found really useful so I could still relax and watch TV etc while not worrying about what was going on...

FuzzyOwl · 27/07/2017 14:03

Oh Stumbly we had everything crossed here for you as well. Flowers Be very gentle on yourself.

Banania that all sounds very strange to me. Usually it is two weeks before ovulation and until/unless that is known, your LMP is used. Will you be seeing a midwife soon? They will probably have a better idea of the procedure and, whilst your GP might be right for your area, I've never heard of it before.

I've had pink discharge today so just used a Clearblue ovulation predictor test and it says I am 2-3 weeks when I should be 3+. This pregnancy is the cycle straight after a miscarrige and I can't help but think it is going to end the same way.

whyhastherumgone · 27/07/2017 14:04

@stumblymonkeyagain honeymoon sounds incredible, I hope you both have an amazing time with all the amazing cocktails xx

whyhastherumgone · 27/07/2017 14:05

@FuzzyOwl oh how worrying :( How far along should you be? Although those CB tests are supposed to be notoriously unreliable?

whyhastherumgone · 27/07/2017 14:06

@FuzzyOwl have you had a 3+ previously with them?

Coocoocachoo2017 · 27/07/2017 14:09

Hi all. My first ever post on mumsnet. Hope it's ok to join. Am 6 wks +4. Sorry for all those going through difficult times. Very supportive feed, so nice to read. My second pregnancy, have a 4 yo, nearly 5 yo. Much more anxious this time! Tried for a long time. Still hasn't sunk in and we've not told family yet.

KitKat2891 · 27/07/2017 14:19

Hi @Coocoocachoo2017 - we are a EDD buddies. I'm 6+4 as well.

@stumblymonkeyagain - your honeymoon sounds amazing. Enjoy all the planning x

FuzzyOwl · 27/07/2017 14:20

I should be 5+1 @whyhastherumgone so I know it is not far off and no, I haven't had a 3+ yet. Despite their reputation, they have always been accurate for me in the past. I get such painful ovulation (endometriosis) that I am certain of my dates, plus I tracked this cycle with OPKs.

LaSurprise · 27/07/2017 14:23

Still bleeding here and just passed something that looked to me like tissue, possibly the sac, alongside a lot of bright red blood. Pregnancy test I took this morning still showing positive much much weaker line. Hopefully my body is dealing with this naturally (lord knows my brain isn't). Back for a scan on Tuesday and expecting to me told there's nothing at all there by then (I suspect blighted ovum). Wishing all you the very best of luck but time for me to step away from this thread now. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your supportFlowers

OnceUponaMama · 27/07/2017 14:24

Welcome coocoo!

Fuzzyowl- hope your feeling ok. If it helps the nurses at my epu hate clear blue predicter tests with a passion! I was told not to waste my money yesterday and that docs can't understand how they can predict the weeks accurately because women's hcg levels can vary enormously!

Stumbly your honeymoon sounds amazing so exciting and special for you and your dp!

Banania · 27/07/2017 14:24

fuzzy thanks I'm slightly baffled too. Anyway it doesn't matter as I'll still probably be getting a scan earlier than usual because of the miscarriage.

Sorry to hear about pinkness and clearblue. Try not to let your head get totally wrecked.

BlueeSpottyTiger · 27/07/2017 14:25

Kitkate & coocoo I'm 6+4 too! Are you due the 16th? I know just because we're at the same stage now doesn't mean we'll have the same due date.. my cycles were only 26days! Congrats coocoo xx

HazelRah · 27/07/2017 14:26

So sorry stumbly... Your message brought a tear to my eye. Thinking of you this evening.

Banania that sounds wrong to me. I'm 5+0 today and my EDD is 28th March apparently?

whyhastherumgone · 27/07/2017 14:27

welcome newbies :)
@FuzzyOwl is it worth calling your epu because of the discharge? I think CB is very dependent on how diluted urine is etc and i hope it's inaccuracy not anything else x

KitKat2891 · 27/07/2017 14:32

@BlueeSpottyTiger - I worked my EDD out as 18th march, but that is off my LMP. To be honest I'm not sure exactly when I ovulated as my cycles were irregular and got fed up trying to work out when I was supposed to POAS!
But I had some spotting around what I assume was ovulation, so I might be a couple of days behind where I thought based on that. I'm just going to wait til the scan to find out with a bit more certainty x

Flatwhite31 · 27/07/2017 14:33

@stumblymonkeyagain that sounds amazing. We went to the States in April for ours, and it really was the holiday of a lifetime. It sounds like yours will be too. Look after yourself lovely. Xx

@FuzzyOwl could you give your GP a call? Keeping everything crossed for you.

@LaSurprise look after yourself lovely lady. You know where we are if you ever need us. Take care. Xxx

BlueeSpottyTiger · 27/07/2017 14:33

fuzzy the same happened to me with the cb digital it showed 2-3 when it should have been 3+ how many dpo are you now? I would tell your gp about pink spotting/discharge.
lasurprise oh how sad! I hope your okay chick.. my heart goes out to you and the other ladies facing such an awful time xx

whyhastherumgone · 27/07/2017 14:52

@LaSurprise I don't know if you'll see this but just wanted to let you know you're in my thoughts. It took about a week and a half after mine to get a negative test [seems such a cruel thing to have to do]. Take care of yourself x

KerryLeanne84 · 27/07/2017 14:54

Fuzzy the same thing also happened to me with the clearblue weeks. If you look online it tells you the amount of HCG it has as the benchmarks to determine the weeks, but every woman varies as to how much HCG they'll have at different points - the tests are definitely a blunt instrument.

I took one at one or two days before 3 weeks and got 2-3 and then took one the next week and got 3+. I think you should only be concerned if it suddenly goes down to 1-2 weeks or says Not Pregnant.

I've seen SO MANY women online freaking out about the weeks predictor, but the fact is, it's not 100% accurate - it even says that in the instruction leaflet. So please don't get too upset about it. xxx

MrsW0812 · 27/07/2017 14:55

Lots of hugs @stumblymonkeyagain - your honeymoon sounds amazing too! Defo something to look forward to!

@LaSurprise so sorry to hear of the trouble your are going through xx

Welcome all newbies!

Saw my dr today and she's booked me in with my midwife for 3 weeks time when I'll be 9 weeks and that will be my booking in apt.
