@whyhastherumgone when the sonographer was pushing down on me I had the exact same thought!!
Bless her she was telling me all this info and I wasn't taking anything in at all just saying "ok" to everything and as soon as she said I could go the loo I leaped up and said "Thank you!" She must have thought I was the most did-interested woman ever! 😳 X

stumblymonkeyagain · 26/07/2017 21:45

Thanks @Bluebell93. I can see a bit of a sleepless night ahead of the re-scan tomorrow but need to try and get some kip as dropping DP off at the station early which is not easy to do (or particularly safe) on no sleep.

stumblymonkeyagain · 26/07/2017 21:46

Any finger crossing and paw crossing gratefully accepted around 11am tomorrow!

FuzzyOwl · 26/07/2017 21:49

All fingers and paws here will be firmly crossed at 11 stumbly!

Fefifoefum · 26/07/2017 22:41

Oh fingers crossed for tomorrow @stumblymonkeyagain!

All this talk of anti-emetics! I didn't think they'd even consider it until you can't keep anything down? I'm vomiting 2/3 times a day with constant nausea, just had to pull the car over to vomit on the way home. I'm just glad I work in a really busy environment, no ones noticed yet?! And rushing about seems to help. Although I'm just a wet fish at home, no energy.

Scoobygang7 · 27/07/2017 06:29

@Fefifoefum if it's affecting your daily life negatively on a regular basis, I believe that's enough to warrant prescribing it. There's no harm in asking either.

@stumblymonkeyagain fingers crossed and good thoughts for you today.

1000jobstodo · 27/07/2017 06:31

Thinking of you Stumbly got fingers crossed for you, and hope you got some sleep!
Ps if limited sleep, drive with windows down, cool air will keep you alert.

Good luck x

NellWilsonsWhiteHair · 27/07/2017 06:37

Fingers crossed for you today stumbly.

DancingUnicorn · 27/07/2017 07:13

Hope you get good news today stumbly. Will be thinking of you!

Flatwhite31 · 27/07/2017 07:32

Thinking of you today @stumblymonkeyagain and keeping everything crossed!

I felt SO tired yesterday, yet was awake at 1am for ages! Maybe this is nature's way of preparing us for sleepless nights?!

Excited1103 · 27/07/2017 08:08

Much love for those who've had bad news or have been put in awkward holding patterns. Flowers

Good luck today @stumbly.

I've had more issues with getting cold and blue lips, but wrapping up in jumpers (my mum's advice) helps, so it is cold not oxygen deficiency. It seems some of my tiredness was caused by the UTI as that is starting to lift with the antibiotics. The Fybogel orange sachets have helped the constipation and gas enormously (but taste vile). Nausea wrist bands seem to actually help if put in the right place. So, now I had time this morning to have a panic that my symptoms have eased up and this is a bad sign. While I'm taking levothyroxine, amoxycillin, fybogel and wearing wrist bands. Hmm

TeaAndPjs · 27/07/2017 08:14

GiveMeTheTeaAndNobodyGetsHurt · 27/07/2017 08:42

Fingers and toes crossed for you, stumblymonkey.

whyhastherumgone · 27/07/2017 08:50

@Flatwhite31 I am beyond tired today because of the same thing - couldn't drop off til 2am then woke every hour til 7am. Feel like I might murder someone today, will try not to though Grin

NellWilsonsWhiteHair · 27/07/2017 08:54

Yep - I'm another one waking a lot in the night (and struggling to drop off at bedtime), then struggling to wake up at 7 and feeling wiped out all day! 5yo is still a pretty shit sleeper so it all feels very unfair!

BlueeSpottyTiger · 27/07/2017 09:03

Thinking of you stumbly xx

I think I'll have to stay off work again today, can't face it feeling like this. My doctor said i can self certify for a week and then he will give me a backdated sick note and a new note going forward if im still like this early next week. It makes me feel like a crap mum, i literally get up off the sofa to feed, change or put dd to bed... she's happy enough playing and me reading her books but it makes me feel so guilty! Anyone had to take any time off for this? This will be my 3rd day this week. I really can't help it though!

Flatwhite31 · 27/07/2017 09:16

Oh bless you @BlueeSpottyTiger. I am so lucky to be on summer hols, as I dread to think what it would have been like teaching 31 kids this week, especially yesterday when I felt really rotten. Do your work know you're pregnant? Remember your health and that of your baby is way more important than work.

Does anyone find that their symptoms fluctuate? Yesterday I had horrible diarrhoea and some nausea (along with being exhausted), but today I've woken up really hungry and, despite a crap sleep, feel a bit better. Of course when I feel ok I then start worrying - you can't win eh?!

SheSaidHeSaid · 27/07/2017 09:21

Good luck today stumbly.

My symptoms come and go and one day I will have one symptom but another the next, flat, it's strange really. Woke up again at 5am feeling really sick but it's does down a bit now.

BlueeSpottyTiger · 27/07/2017 09:26

Flatwhite- my non nausea ones do! Like sore boobs and i too seem to have a upset stomach alot ever since i have found out in pg 🤔 i know you can't win can you 😂

Yeah i told my manager.. i had to as i didn't want any sickness going on my actual sickness record as its recorded differently when your pg isn't it. I feel guilty but I've only had 1 sickness for 2days in 6 months that wasn't pregnancy related as i had tonsilitis. My work pay 6months at full pay and 6 months at half pay for sickness. which is good for me as it Does'nt effect my wage but that makes me feel even more guilty!

stumblymonkeyagain · 27/07/2017 09:29

Random scan question....how much do you need to drink to get a full bladder?

I had a pint last time about one hour before and my bladder was totally empty...any ideas?

MrsW0812 · 27/07/2017 09:34

Sorry for not being here for your all over past couple of days - been busy with meetings at work and then feelnwiped out when I'm home.

Glad things have gone well @BlueeSpottyTiger and hope you have a good scan today @stumblymonkeyagain

I'm suffering with really bad constipation and wind - it's keeping me up part of the night and I'm horrendously tired. Boobs still hurting but not been sick yet - just odd bouts of nausea which I find I can control if I constantly eat.

Seeing my dr today for my regular depression check up and I'm telling her I'm pregnant so that will get the ball rolling for me with that side of things.

6+2 today and just wishing thebweeks away until I'm closer to 12!!!

KerryLeanne84 · 27/07/2017 09:37

Same here @MrsW0812 symptom wise! My best friend wasn't sick with either of her (healthy) pregnancies either.

BlueeSpottyTiger · 27/07/2017 09:44

No idea stumbly ? i was told my scan yesterday would have to be an internal so i made sure i emptied my bladder before i went. Only to get in the room and I'm there starting to take my pants off to be told im having an abdominal one! I had no wee atall in my bladder but the picture was really clear... which being at 6+3 i was really surprised about. How many weeks are you today???? Just drink as much as you can handle and hope its nice and full xx
