I'm not feeling confident. Scan tomorrow at 6+6 but I feel like I'm starting to lose symptoms not gain them 😭
I know what will happen, see a heartbeat tomorrow and maybe measure a bit behind, then go back in two weeks and no hb. So upset, but I knew something was wrong the last two losses and I'm starting to feel that way again 😭

whyhastherumgone · 25/07/2017 08:21

thanks @FlatWhite31 - yours always reminds me of how much i would love a proper coffee! I'm on decaff at the moment as I'm very much all or nothing but I think I'm starting to go off even that! I'm usually a huge fan of of eggs but since before i go a BFP i haven't been able to stomach them.

@LaSurprise I totally understand how you feel i was exactly the same - i had a week between scans and drove myself mad by telling myself i knew it was over on earth minute then hopefully thinking maybe it would be okay the next. The not knowing and the not knowing what to think is a special kind of torture :( Giving you a hand hold, you're doing amazingly xx

whyhastherumgone · 25/07/2017 08:25

@ZylaB is that what happened before? :(
I'm so sorry you're feeling like this and I hope it's just your (quite reasonable) anxiety coming through rather than gut instinct. The early weeks are such a stressful waiting game. When you say you're losing symptoms - did you have a lot to start with? Have they gone completely? Apparently they really can fluctuate so I'm trying really hard not to read anything into any of them at this stage. Hugs, and hoping that things work out for you x

ZylaB · 25/07/2017 08:29

They haven't gone completely, Saturday I was throwing up loads (and happy to be doing so) but it's lessened and I just feel a bit queasy. I don't know, it's mostly just a feeling :(

FuzzyOwl · 25/07/2017 08:32

Oh @ZylaB I can really sympathise. Sending you lots of positive vibes for tomorrow and still having symptoms really is a good thing.

Thinking of you today @LaSurprise

whyhastherumgone · 25/07/2017 08:35

@ZylaB don't give up hope yet - you still have some and sickness does fluctuate. If it makes you feel better I haven't had much sickness at all and I'm coming up to six weeks this weekend.
I'll be keeping everything crossed for you that this one works out for you - I really feel for you. Such an anxious time :(

NellWilsonsWhiteHair · 25/07/2017 08:54

Thinking of you today LaSurprise.

Thinking of you too ZylaB - I hope you get some reassuring news tomorrow.

BlueeSpottyTiger · 25/07/2017 08:57

Thinking of you today lasurprise xx
zyla good luck for the scan xx
I've finally plucked up the courage to go to my doctor to ask him about this stabby pain in my pelvis
I said to my friend last night i just feel like something is wrong.. I've had this pain for about 2 weeks now and im worried its eptopic!

HazelRah · 25/07/2017 09:01

I really hope not Bluee... Best of luck Flowers

Mimilicious013 · 25/07/2017 09:08

Hello ladies

Hope l can join you. Got my bfp yesterday after 2 years of trying with no luck and throwing in the towel. Noticed just yesterday that I hadn't had a period in a while and poas to be shocked with a clear bfp on an ic. Should be about 6weeks fx.

Sorry to all those who have been going through a rough time Flowers and Congratulations to everyone. Here is to happy and healthy pregnancies

BlueeSpottyTiger · 25/07/2017 09:10

Now I've had some pink stringy cm when having a wee! Sad

Mimilicious013 · 25/07/2017 09:18

Hope it's nothing to worry about @blue, fx

stumblymonkeyagain · 25/07/2017 09:19

Good luck for the scan LaSurprise...everything crossed for you here.

Zyla...I'm not an anxious person at all normally but this week is driving me to the edge TBH.

For me (due to my specific circumstances I.e. We weren't going to TTC until next year) it's less about the outcome and more about the living in uncertainty/limbo thing. I feel like I can deal with whatever the news is and move on but this waiting is a headfuck.

I had a day off work yesterday and TBH could quite happily have the rest of the week off (although I'm not) because all I can bloody think about is Thursday's scan and what is going on.

stumblymonkeyagain · 25/07/2017 09:20

Sorry...pressed send too soon.

So I can't even imagine what it's like for those of you who are more invested and/or have had mc before Flowers

Flatwhite31 · 25/07/2017 09:52

Welcome and congratulations @Mimilicious013!

Could you contact your GP @BlueeSpottyTiger? Keeping everything crossed for you. X

Flatwhite31 · 25/07/2017 09:53

Sorry @BlueeSpottyTiger just read that you are going to the doctor anyway. Is that appointment today? Hopefully he/she can put your mind at rest. X

BlueeSpottyTiger · 25/07/2017 10:01

Yeah! I have the doctor this afternoon.
I'm reassuring myself that with dd i had so much bright red bleeding and she was fine.. but having a cp the other month started like this and its stressing me out!
My risk of mc at 6+2 has dropped to 6.6% which is reassuring ( as per this calaculator i used)

TeaAndPjs · 25/07/2017 10:22

zylab we are in the same boat! That's what's happened to me past 2 pregnancies so can sympathise, I'm not even gonna tell you to stay positive as I know how hard that is, I'm clinging on to hope this time but at the same time pretty disconnected from it!

blue fingers crossed for you

mimi welcome :)

Fefifoefum · 25/07/2017 11:52

Oh ladies, I've just caught up, I'm thinking of the ladies really going through some tough times

@Flatwhite31 I'm having the most horrendous vivid dreams, well definitely nightmares, I keep waking up sweating and being genuinely upset and if I get back to sleep I go straight into the dream again, horrid!

xxHappyHippyxx · 25/07/2017 12:10

My sympathies to everyone struggling with extra uncertainty and worry at the moment 😔 hope your scan goes well today @LaSurprise and your GP is reassuring @BlueeSpottyTiger 🤞 a friend of ours didn't realise she was pregnant for four months because she had periods all that time!

Vivid dreams here too!! Woke up angry with OH this morning because in my dream he made breakfast for his new (male) lover and didn't even offer me any toast (perhaps I was hungry 😂) also went to the pet shop for a new pet rat and left with four multicoloured elephants instead... WTH!?

I got a letter for dating scan appointment on 17th august which seems ages away!! 😖 anyway it's got me thinking; if the last scan measurement was right and I was 8+2 then, I'll be 12+5 at the next one but I've got myself all confused with dates and stuff.. is that measurement the growth they'd expect from conception or do they factor in an extra couple of weeks back to estimated period?? I assume not but then surely they should only count up to 38 weeks not 40 for EDD?? Or am I missing something? 😅 plz halp! 😜

LaSurprise · 25/07/2017 12:44

Not really good news to share unfortunately. They could see a pregnancy sac on the scan but it was tiny- smaller than it should be for my dates, and so tiny they couldn't see if there was anything in it. They refused to check my hcg blood levels. Basically I've got to go back in a week and they'll see if it's grown. I know it's over though. I know in my heart of hearts there isn't going to be a baby. Just feel broken by it all.

ZylaB · 25/07/2017 13:04

LaSurprise I'm so so sorry.

@xxHappyHippyxx they count from the start of the last period, and assuming you ovulate on day 14 of a 38 day cycle, that's where the extra two weeks comes from. It's not very precise. My cycl s atent 28 days but I know when I ovulated so just tell them my last period started two weeks before that, it saves on confusion.

SS81C · 25/07/2017 13:07

Sorry it wasn't better news @LaSurprise it must be awful to keep having to go back. My heart is aching for you xx

HippyHappy - The dates from your scan work the same way as your date from LMP so you would have been 8weeks 2 days weeks from what would have been the first day of your last period if ypur cycles were exactly 28 days- theoretically it would be two weeks ish less from conception....so 6+2 but that's probably just confusing matters

I guess it's historic why we do it that way.....other countries don't use those two weeks so count as the number of weeks from conception.....but have different guidance for pregnancy lengths etc.

Mimilicious013 · 25/07/2017 13:09

So sorry @lasurprise Flowers

Mimilicious013 · 25/07/2017 13:10
