opinions, make sure you do rest, sounds scary.Glad all is ok.

There seems to be loads of scares on here lately. Must use it as my excuse to not do anything

Got told off by dh for moving the dining table yesterday, he said and how did that get there? The fairies was my reply

Will be painting our landing cupboard tomorrow but dh hasn't said don't do that, LOL

Eddas · 08/03/2007 20:35

No, she's emailed everyone's addresses but you not on there(just looked) sorry!! Mine is

[email protected]

babysopiniontakesover · 08/03/2007 20:38

Liath, eddas - thanks for that. Very very scary all in all and you really do get things in proportion when sth like that happens. I am now literally counting the days.

liath · 08/03/2007 20:51

Eddas, have emailed you

Am tempted to count the days too, but 5 weeks sounds too long as it is, days might be too depressing. This stage is just a horrible grind, though. Am getting thoroughly fed up!

babysopiniontakesover · 08/03/2007 20:52

You right it is a horrible grind TBH the only thing that gets me through at the minute is chocolate and lots of it.

1becomes3 · 08/03/2007 20:53

My god it really is all happening this week.
Opinions glad your ok must have been a bit fo a worry for you, tell your DH to sod off MN is good for pg women, and you should be on here more often

Mammyjo- how frustrating for you since my visit to the hospital on tuesday I have been having a mixture of BH (which for me is like babies pushing not pain but uncomfortable) and mild period pains, that are most probably BH but more painful.
It's quite strange.

eca-Hope everything is ok, will be thinking of you.

And here is a big [[[[[[[HUG]]]]] for MIABT, Laith.

sospl- ear plugs may be the answer to your problem, My DD doesn't shut up but at least it is klingon and makes no sense to anyone. Make sure your not over doing it.

And I know I have forgotten loads but it has taken me 30 mins to write this little bit as I'm so forgetful, Sorry anyone I missed.

I am going to turn my pc of now fill up my hot water bottle have a nice cold glass of milk with some rich tea biscuits to dunk in it and see if I can't pursuade Dh to rub my very puffy feet Heaven.
Night all.

[[[[hugs]]]]

liath · 08/03/2007 20:54

me too, am half way through some green & blacks butterscotch at the moment. Mmmmm.

babysopiniontakesover · 08/03/2007 20:56

Lindt lindor for me all the way.......

Sexonslightlypuffylegs · 08/03/2007 21:15

Opinions, huge hugs to you. God, so many scares this week. This pg lark is a nightmare isn't it!

I have been having some horrible breath-stopping twingy pains tonight, just when the baby moves around. But my God, they hurt - poor cat got kicked off during one particular painful bout!

Right, am going to bed soon. Reading Marian Keyes' book and I can't put it down. She is a marvel.

Hope everyone has a restful night, and see you all in the morning.

Love and hugs. xx

I enjoyed "Getting Rid OF Matthew!"

liath would you like me to send you the email list?

just so you have ways of contacting people outside of here (more private) should you want to?

Ellieump · 08/03/2007 21:37

and katie, had a thought about the other thread, the bf one, there is one way of keeping it out of the public arena, at least more than in some places. If you made a new one titled "April 2007-advice and support thread" to run alongside this one then it would be very unlikely that anyone else would bother to look at it. and there's nothing in the title to give it away.

Katy44 · 08/03/2007 21:45

Yes, was thinking along the same lines.
Also, when you click on 'last 15 minutes' or whatever, they're in alphabetical order, so we're usually near the top. 'z April 2007 - advice and support' would be ideal

OP posts:
Katy44 · 08/03/2007 21:47

oh no, ignore that, it's the section, which is why it goes 'Allergies' - 'Am I being unreasonable' - 'AN clubs'
I thought these were just really popular!

Ellieump · 08/03/2007 21:48

bless ya katy, i've been missing your mad thoughts

WestCountryLass · 08/03/2007 22:21

Small moan....my bellybutton is really sore! It used to be peirced, haven't worn a belly button ring since having DS but where it was peirced is stretched to capacity and it is red raw. I have been spraying Savlon and usi it withng Sudocrem but it won't heal until it is no longer stretched (had the same with DD). I almost wish it would just split open to relieve the pressure, like squeezing a really angry spot

Still musn't REALLY grumble as only 3 weeks to go and not suffering in any other way

Pesha · 08/03/2007 22:22

Was going to say i think as its in ante natal clubs its much less lkely that people will want to come in and debate it with us than if it was somewhere else. And then of course in a few weeks time we can move itto post natal clubs

Eca - hope all is ok

Mammyjo - must be infuriating not knowing whats going on. Hope it either stops or starts for you and stops dithering

And i have completely forgotten who else i was going to mention which is crap cos there was loads!

Cant believe some people only have 3 weeks left, thats so scary. Im torn between just wanting this baby out hoping it comes early and remembering how hard the first few weeks/months are and thinking actually i should just make the most of the time ive got to myself now and enjoy it! I remember wishing them out before and once they were out wishing i could stick them back in!!
Its the same with them walking and talking, you spend all that time trying to teach them and encourage them and then once they start you wish they'd just stay put for 5 mins and shut the hell up!! DD talks continually and she takes forever to say anything. Its 'mum remember when i went to grandmas, not granny and grandads but grandma and grandpas, not the time when nathan came too but when i went on my own and nathan went to granny and grandads that time when i went to grandmas, do you remember. i went cos you'd gone out with daddy for aunty beckys birthday and i went to grandmas and...'
FFS child YES just spit it out WHAT ABOUT IT??? But you cant say that can you so i have to sit there saying yes, oh yes, yes...nodding like the dog from the churchills advert! And ds is just as bad only his is questions and he doesnt actually listen to anything i say to him anyway!

And im having a 3rd because...??

Pesha · 08/03/2007 22:25

continuously

Ellieump · 08/03/2007 22:30

pesha, you paint a picture of my conversations with matthew to a t
goodnight x

Pesha · 08/03/2007 22:33

Meant continuously instead of continually but now they both look and sound wrong and i dont know whats what anymore

Am completely brain dead today thought 3 o'clock was 4 o'clock earlier, no sorry thought 4 was 3 and so got completely lost about colecting dd after school, she'd prob still be there now if it wasnt for dp! Then was having conversation with dp about footballers and completely mixed up my players so then i said to dp 'think i should just not talk while im pregnant, or at least not apart anything about from babies.'
Dp just sighed!!

flumppootle · 09/03/2007 07:45

Morning all

Will catch up later but just wanted to say that I think GMM went on ML about a week ago and said that she had problems with her pc at home.

Weeonion and Opinions hope that you are both okay and feeling better today.
