Ellieump · 12/03/2007 21:31

no, haven't mentioned it, haven't been on for about a week i think, was lurking then just ran away over the weekend

I have SPD i'm pretty sure but chose not to do anything about it cos that and being a single mum to matthew don't fit. now it's bloody painful!

i'm feeling very alone right now and noone to give me hugs

the stpehen thing has flared up again, but this time it's final, he just doesn't want the ties of children.

Ellieump · 12/03/2007 21:31

come on then girls, cheer me up, new thread names?

WestCountryLass · 12/03/2007 21:36

Oh, I can't imagine having SPD and coping on my own, bless ya.

Ellieump · 12/03/2007 21:39

with matthew i had no problems but apparently different dad means diff. hormones. so the MW tells me, and this time has been awful

my sis had SPD with her 2 and really played on it, i hated that so just shut up and got on wth it. have been fine but now getting house straight and getting heavier are causing probs.

biggest stress right now is the thought that the council are taking me to court for rent arrears, my own fault, haven't been paying the rent since ex left, been head-in-the-sanding again

Katy44 · 12/03/2007 21:40

so sorry to hear all that

New thread name - potentially offensive to the easily offended:
April 2007 - let the knicker checking begin
(don't think we should use it, but I think it would have been the obvious choice)

I went to the toilet in the restaurant and had to use the disabled cubicle as I couldn't shut the door past my huge bump! Not even close!

OP posts:
Katy44 · 12/03/2007 21:41

Oh no didn't see your last post before I posted.
What can you do about the rent? Is there someone you can talk to?

OP posts:
Ellieump · 12/03/2007 21:44

someone with lots of money to spare

Ellieump · 12/03/2007 21:45

and NO WAY - there is something about 'pant checking' as a phrase that makes me cringe. sorry, no offence meant

Katy44 · 12/03/2007 21:46

As long as you don't run off and start a new thread about it telling me to grow up I'm sure I'll get over it!
Just as an example of what you might do.

OP posts:
Ellieump · 12/03/2007 21:48

we are so bitter and twisted

Katy44 · 12/03/2007 22:02

I don't know what you mean!

OP posts:
Ellieump · 12/03/2007 22:11

come on then, more ideas please

Ellieump · 12/03/2007 22:13

also had a thought, maybe we could run a 'catch up' thread alongside this one, with a post at the end of each day that has all important news and topics discussed that day, so that if anyone is away for a week or so they can catch up quickly?

octopussyintummy · 12/03/2007 22:13

Hello all - just thought would nip on before bed.

EllieK - sorry to hear about Stephen, the rent and spd - what a nightmare - we're here for you if you need us

Maveta - pork crackling - yak! Are you skiving so you can get some magic sperm? ROFL

I need to go get some more nit stuff and one of those combs too.

Any news from dooby & wO?

Nighty night xoxoxox

octopussyintummy · 12/03/2007 22:16

Ellie - two threads would confuse me so much!

Possible names:

And they're off ....
skiving and diving!

Really must go to bed ...

Ellieump · 12/03/2007 22:17

diving?

octopussyintummy · 12/03/2007 22:21

you know .. down there

Pesha · 12/03/2007 22:22

Ellie have you spoken to citizens advice or the consumer credit counselling service are very good, had to get them to sort out all dps debt. What they did for us was go through a budget of income and expenditure then look at who you owe and work out how much you can afford to pay and thats all you pay, if they dont like it they take you to court who will just ask you to do exactly the same thing anyway, you just pay what you can. And most companys would rather just take reduced payments that they know they will get than pay court fees to try and chase you for money you just haven't got. Does that make sense, think ive gone on one abit there! But would have thought a local council would be prepared to be pretty reasonable. Doesn't stop it stressing you out though i know. And im with you on the spd thing, i did mention it to mw and dr but when they told me it was nothing i just thought ok best get on with it then, didnt want to seem like i was making a fuss.
And if you wanna talk bout crappy men cocking you about whilst pg then im here if you wanna email me or talk on here or whatever. Had horrid time last pg and after having ds actually fell into abit of a hole for quite a while.

Have ideal on the telly but not really watching, someone just asked johnny vegas if he wants to hold their new baby, he said no shouldnt be passing her around, she's not a spliff! Made me giggle!

Ellieump · 12/03/2007 22:24

have done all that before pesha, it's the council tho so none of that matters. like i said, not really something i want advice or sympathy on, which is why i kept away

thanks for all thinking of me tho, just not wanting to discuss much right now, escapism thou ist mumsnet

you mean you're getting some diving octo?

Pesha · 12/03/2007 22:25

Sorry took me ages to write that so have x posted loads but where did the muff diving come from?! Did i miss something?

And love the idea of a brief catch up thread but who would write it, i cant remember my last post half the time nevermind a whole days worth!!

octopussyintummy · 12/03/2007 22:26

Heard on news today about that new baby dying of MRSA - dh came in and procalimed that I will be leaving hospital asap and that was that - wasn't having the hand spray thing the dooby recommended - just straight home!

octopussyintummy · 12/03/2007 22:30

I wish No action here! But sooner or later sperm will have to be considered - does swallwing it count in terms of the prostoglandin concentration or do you have to have sex to help bring on labour? Thinking about it - would actually rather have sex!

Pesha · 12/03/2007 22:30

Sorry ellie, I did read that you didnt want advice but i thought oh ill just mention this briefly then kind of forgot myself and went off on one same as i always do!
Definitely need to try and have more adult conversation in my day then i wouldnt waffle on so much on here!!

Ellieump · 12/03/2007 22:33

that was at one of my local hospitals octo and was made into a lot more than it was. yes the baby died but there was no other occurence of it and 'interesting' familty circumstances. the baby didin't deserve to die but the fuss was unjustified IMO.

Pesha · 12/03/2007 22:33

Wasnt it on the AIBU thread complaining about us that someone was saying swallowing was very good for bringing it on and someone else was saying no its not? Cant remember what the end decision was though, if there was one. Have to say id take whatever i can get at the mo!!
