Hello, may I join you? My due date is the 27th of September but I just feel so far behind the September group, I think I'd be more at home here!

I'm 5 weeks and 4 days today, which seems awfully early...

Vivid dreams for me to last night, I dreamt my teeth were falling out. Slightly sensitive boobs this weekend. I have a horrible cold. I had a six week cold all in my last pregnancy (until my miscarriage). I'm hoping this cold doesn't last so long. I'm taking it easy this morning.

Welcome everyone. I think we should rename this the late September early October thread. On Tuesday I'll be 6 weeks which feels a bit of a milestone.

Hello! We've been trying for a yearish with no luck- I had a strep throat at new year and got anti biotics. When my period was late I thought my cycle had just been thrown off because I was so sick, but I asked DH to get me a test just to rule out the obvious.

Did the test on Thursday evening- I was a bit stunned when I got a really strong positive. Still doesn't seem real but DH is taking it in his stride! Due date is approx 30 September - I'm supposed to be a bridesmaid for my sister on the 9th

We're in Dublin so my local doctor was happy to book an appointment to get me signed up for the free pre natal care- I'm originally from North so I'm weighing up going back home for the scans and birth

I'm 5w +2 today. Went out with husband last night (he is loving having a designated driver) and I'm the one who feels hungover today which is slightly unfair! Woke up with quite a lot of cramping which is a bit scary but all eased off now, a headache and nausea.
Does anyone else have cramping that feels exactly like period pains?

I had really crazy dreams throughout pregnancy one. This time I just can't seem to sleep at the moment, not helped by a poorly toddler and having a stinking cold.

Presh I have had a lot of strong pains that feel like period pain (I did last time too and think it's totally normal). The first few days though I did occasionally think "ouch, really bad period pain" then remember it wasn't my period! They've eased off the last couple of days and I know I should be grateful.

Thanks jeneral just had a bath and that seems to have eased the pains. Literally feels like period is about to start when it happens I'm constantly checking when I go to the loo!

I'm feeling pretty normal, in fact so normal that I could forget most of the time that anything is different, but then every once in a while I just feel queasy and then suddenly remember! I did another pregnancy test, though, and this time the second line showed up strongly almost immediately, so I'm assuming things are still progressing in there.

Awful insomnia here. I pass out instantly but then wake around 2/3am and just doze (lay with my eyes shut) until one of the kids come in around 6ish

Hi everyone, tentatively joining the group, I am 5 weeks pregnant today so my EDD is 1st October. I've had two chemical pregnancies since September so I'm very nervous this time around but neither got to the 5 week mark so I'm feeling hopeful. I'll have an early scan at 6 weeks so just counting down till then and hoping nothing goes wrong in the meantime.
I already have DS 20 months.

I'm having real trouble sleeping as well, can lie awake for what feels like hours, I thought this shouldn't come until later on in the pregnancy?! Also anyone else incredibly bloated?? It actually looks like the start of a bump but surely 5 weeks is far too early, especially with it being my first baby!

Has anyone give their baby a nickname?! My husband and I seriously can't agree on what to call them! Seems stupid seeing as we have already picked out actual names already 😂

Congratulations everyone! I had a bfp today. Due date works out to be 6th October making me 4 weeks :-) It's our first & we are both excited but tentative! I'll phone the doc tomorrow :-))

Hi everyone, lovely to read all your positive test stories.
I think I'm due October 1st too. Kind of in shock as it took ages to get pregnant with my first and this one happened straight away! My bonkers non-sleeping toddler will be 2 and 2 months when number 2 arrived which is pretty scary.
Feeling fat and nauseous already with this one.
Was wondering if anyone fancied starting an October VBAC thread? Feeling determined to push this one out myself!!

I'm another one not sleeping properly - don't think I've had a full night sleep since BFP. Last night awake from around 1am - 4am with cramping and not able to get comfy. Booking an early scan for 2 weeks today which is something to look forward to though!

I'm dizzy today, nausea when I'm hungry and loads of cramps. (Sorry TMI) Some pinkish cm but then went pale coffee colored and now back to normal.

I remember the cramps from my first pregnancy, I actually went to the gp and she said completely normal, just uterus stretching. Didn't get so much in 2nd but or when I had my mmc but loads this time. I'm hoping this is a good sign.

I'm six weeks tomorrow. I need to get round to booking an early scan for next week but I haven't had a chance yet.

Anyone else got a headache?

Hi everyone, can I join? Got a positive test today after my period was two days late - it will be my first so we're pretty excited! EDD is October 9th. So far I don't have ANY symptoms at all beyond the missed period, so it all feels very surreal and like I might be imagining it or something?! Does that make sense? Like when I finally see a midwife or whoever (seriously no idea what happens next, going to the doctor tomorrow) they might laugh me out of there!

mulberry my bump is prominent and the bloat isn't helping, I'm really going to struggle hiding it until 12 weeks as I'm only 6 weeks although this is DC2 for me
